I had extremely…read morehigh expectations of all our vendors for our wedding, and Danielle was hands-down the best of the lot. To put it in context, I worked at a high-end florist when I was at Stanford, and I went through proposals from floral designers that do arrangements for French Laundry, Chez Panisse, Delfina etc etc. But Danielle fit our style, both aesthetically and personality-wise, perfectly. Both my fiance and I knew from the minute we first met her that she was it. Our first meeting happened completely last minute, and Danielle made the effort to meet us for breakfast at 830am in Palo Alto, when she lives in the city (when she's up in Northern CA, and not in LA, that is). She had her work on her handy dandy iPad to show us, and we explained to her our vision - modern, elegant, authentic, full of color and life - but not over the top extravagant. After our table mock-up at the rental company, my then-fiance told me that he had never believed that florals could be so beautiful. Danielle picked up cases of fruits that my mom provided for our wedding day arrangements, she sourced lily of the valley and other fresh seasonal flowers, supplied butcher paper for the kids tables for crayon drawing, and created stunningly beautiful tables at our wedding. Her sense of style is impeccable, and everyone could not stop raving about how gorgeous the flowers (and frankly, everything) were. She ended up providing design guidance on a variety of things from the lighting and draping in the barn, to ceremony aisle decor made up of small kumquat planters, to day-of signage, and she was resourceful up until the very end. She even brought leftover arrangements to our day after brunch so that our guests could enjoy the arrangements for just a little longer. We had an amazing wedding - not just because it was so perfectly planned and beautifully executed - but that definitely helped. As my hubby says, he thought ppl who wanted over-the-top weddings were always a little misguided - until we had our own - and having memories that are just that gorgeous really do add to how special the memories become. And those special memories absolutely wouldn't be as beautiful as they are without Danielle's artful eye apparent everywhere that day.

I thank my lucky stars that I found Danielle. I fell in love with her work the minute I saw her…read moreportfolio. At first I thought she only covered LA, but to my delight, I realized she did weddings in SF as well! Danielle is not only a great floral designer but has holistic artistic vision. I didn't have a planner/designer, and with Danielle I didn't need one. I gave her photos of my design inspiration, flowers I liked, and decoration details, and she helped me pull my thoughts together. She gave me recommendations on things I could buy/rent (she found our linens and dinner chairs, and told me about demijohns), and gave me great advice on the overall décor (including exercising restraint!). I loved loved loved our flowers. She took my ideas, and took them much further, pulling together a cohesive look that was still fresh. Our wedding made it into Style Me Pretty's Best of 2012, and Danielle deserves a lot of the credit! Danielle, thank you for being a pleasure to work with, and helping us have the wedding of our dreams!

She makes you feel like you have known her for years. Clear and concise with what she wants, prompt responses, and a whole lot of fun. If you're looking for a planner who brings not only a vision to life but infuses it with soul,…read moreheart, precision, and grace--look no further than Andrea of Mia Emma Love Events. I recently had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Andrea for an extravagant, Wicked-themed birthday celebration at the Grand Bay Hotel in San Francisco. As a DJ, I've been part of my fair share of complex productions--but this event? This one had layers. We're talking immersive design, multiple performances, theatrical moments, choreographed timing, lighting cues, and the kind of attention to detail that would make Broadway stage managers sweat. And yet--through every twist, change, last-minute curveball, and behind-the-scenes chaos--Andrea stayed calm, composed, and genuinely joyful. That smile never left her face. It wasn't just impressive; it was inspiring. What struck me most was Andrea's emotional intelligence and natural leadership. She wasn't just checking off a list--she was reading the room, checking in on vendors, comforting the family, and still had the foresight to ensure every beat of the evening landed with intention. For us as DJs, a successful event relies heavily on the planner's clarity, timing, and communication. Andrea excelled at all three. Her cues were crystal clear, her flexibility never compromised the bigger picture, and her collaboration felt seamless. It's rare to find someone who can hold both the creative and logistical sides of event production in perfect harmony. Andrea is that rare gem. And beyond the work, there's a real human connection there--a warmth that draws people in, makes vendors want to go above and beyond, and creates the kind of synergy that guests can feel, even if they don't see it. After this event, I'm not only grateful--I'm inspired. I genuinely hope to work with Andrea and Mia Emma Love Events more in the future. I believe that if we continue to collaborate, we could create experiences that are unforgettable, meaningful, and consistently next-level. Andrea, thank you for the trust, the kindness, the professionalism, and for being exactly the kind of event partner every creative hopes for. I'm honored to have been a part of this one--and I'm already looking forward to the next. With deep appreciation, DJ Brandon Beach

Review This team is NO. FREAKING. JOKE!!!…read more I had my wedding on May 11th and the day couldn't have gone more perfect, and that's thanks to this team. Jessica & LaShawna are freaking stars! The planning process was seamless. I was so impressed with the attention to detail at the wedding venue walkthrough. We walked the entire venue, bounced ideas off each other for placement of every single item, and built a schematic. They even measured the venue to know exact placement of tables, chairs, etc. Planning the wedding was so easy/smooth thanks to the planning tools and check ins. Our rehearsal was straight to the point and very easy. We didn't need the full two hours allotted by our venue because they were on top of everything! Then came the wedding day. Our bridal salon overlooked the venue, so we were able to see the progress throughout the day. THEY WORK HARD!! and I mean, they pay attention to every single little detail to make sure the place looks beautiful and perfect. It was so impressive, we all couldn't stop talking about it. The wedding day went seamless, on time, and without a single issue. Jessica and LaShawna were there every step of the way, speaking to each other through their own personal headpieces. If anything came up or if I had any questions, they were there and ready to help where needed. My wedding wouldn't have gone as well as it did without them, I promise. I feel so grateful to have had the best team out there!! We also decided to hire the CLE House cleanup crew which was fantastic as well! Janet did a great job and cleaning/tidying up fast and making sure we got back all of our stuff. Thank you so much for being the reason why my wedding day went so perfectly CLE House!!!

My husband and I are so glad that we chose A Savvy Event (ASE) as our planning team, but more…read morespecifically, Kimberly Rosen, as our wedding planner! We initially spoke with several other planners, but after our first call with Kimberly, we knew we wanted her to be the one helping us plan our event this past October in Sonoma. We insisted that Kimberly was our go-to with ASE. ASE has several levels of planning packages depending on what you are looking for. My Husband and I decided to go with the partial planning package and it was the perfect balance for us. We are from the Chicagoland area so having a planner in California where we were getting married was essential. Kimberly is also well-connected in wine country/the wedding industry and has relationships with many of the vendors who ASE has worked with over the years. This is a major perk, since she was able to point us in the direction of some of the best vendors out there! We always felt like we were in the right hands and were provided high quality recommendations by Kimberly. Throughout the past year of planning with Kimberly she was always kind and had such a positive attitude. Aside from being our wedding planner, Kimberly felt like a friend. Not only did we hear from several of our vendors how much they loved working with Kimberly and how organized she was, even several of our friends asked who she was because they noticed how on top of everything she was at the wedding. Everyone tells you how stressful wedding planning can be, especially since our entire planning process was virtual and during covid, but ours was carefree and fun! You also hear "something is going to go wrong the day of" but my husband and I can say that our day was flawless. If something did go wrong, it was nothing made known or visible to either us or any of our guests. When my Husband and I returned to our hotel room at the end of that night, Kimberly and her assistant had already returned all our signs and personal belongings to our room. They laid out my veil on the bed with our welcome sign so beautifully (see pic). Although this was a small gesture, we felt it was so thoughtful to walk back to at the end of what was already the perfect day! One final touch if you will! I have said to my husband on numerous occasions recently that I wish our wedding planning wasn't over and how I want to experience our day all over again and he agrees! Thank you, Kimberly for helping make our wedding one we'll always treasure and never forget! It was more magical than we could have ever envisioned!

Kelly and the ASE team are truly the best you can get when it comes to the wedding planning…read moreindustry. My 14 month engagement turned into 26 months and I cannot imagine having gone through the challenges the pandemic and wild fires presented without Kelly. In addition to her gorgeous work, creativity, and connections in the industry, she is as genuine as can be and truly wants the best for her brides, grooms and their families. Not only does Kelly want to make your wedding planning experience as easy and fun as possible, but she also does an incredible job of getting to know you and making the wedding extremely personal. She got to know my husband and me in addition to our story and overall vision for our special day/weekend. Kelly goes above and beyond. For example, Kelly knew mine and my husband's love for Crumbl cookies and it became a shared love between all of us. She had the great idea to pick up Crumbl catering for our Rehearsal Dinner, which was also my husband's birthday, because she knew how special that would be for us. This is just the smallest example of Kelly's thoughtfulness throughout the whole process. Our wedding planning process presented extreme challenges between having to postpone a full year due to the pandemic and having to find a new venue/caterer/other vendors after our original venue burned down, but Kelly had my back every step of the way. She worked tirelessly to give us the best options while still taking our budget and preferences into consideration. The day would not have been possible without her and we are forever grateful for her dedication, her hard work, and her genuine love for what she does. Three months later, anytime we see our friends and family, they still talk about how perfect and absolutely stunning our wedding day and weekend was. I knew our day would be special but it was beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of. Kelly and the ASE team went above and beyond in creating the most special, beautiful, personalized and intimate wedding for us and I will forever be grateful. I could go on for several more paragraphs, but in conclusion, if you are looking for a wedding planning team, you will be in the best hands with A Savvy Event!
