And one more thing that makes the meat department special is that they have nice, thick bags to put the meat in so that they won't bleed all over your other groceries. On top of that, as you'll see in the photos, all of the cuts of meat are listed on the bag, which is really helpful. There are two butchers there who you can ask questions of or have meat sliced or cubed or whatever you want to do with it. Now that's a special service. The other thing I also love about this store is that someone has an eye for design. Every single item on every single shelf is facing forward and perfectly stacked, nothing out of place. They must patrol the place just to tidy up. She was not only very friendly and made eye contact with me and smiled to greet me when I approached her check stand, but she was also fast as lightning checking me out, and I was really impressed with that. I also would've been nice to have them come out to the car with me and lift them into the car. SaveMart always offers this service and I really appreciate it. Maybe they were just shorthanded today?
