Quick summary: great communication, best prices, incredible workmanship and expertise. Raul is the absolute best! One of the reasons we chose him was his excellent communication style and it was great to be in contact with the exact person who was doing the repairs rather than an estimator. Our upstairs neighbor had faulty appliances that wrecked our unit's (which was below) bathroom and closet with water damage. We needed someone to replace the insulation in the ceiling, do the drywalling, mudding, and painting. Raul came over on the same day I consulted Yelp. He gave me an all-inclusive cost on the spot which included materials. After getting a few more estimates, it was clear Raul's prices were the fairest. Still, the quality of his workmanship was extremely high. Each day Raul arrived early to set up so work could get started right at right 8am. He laid down a layer of protective material on our floor to stay as tidy as possible. From the very first day to when he finished the job he made us feel at ease because we could trust his expertise! He finished in the exact time frame he told us he would. He even went out of his way to go to the specific paint store to find the exact paint color and brand that was previously used in our home so it could match as closely as possible. He went above and beyond in so many ways to ensure the job was done properly by matching texture or leaving the drywall perfectly smooth where needed. I can honestly say Raul saved our home! Thank you so much for being such a professional and kind person, Raul. I can't wait to recommend him to our friends and family in Simi Valley when they need drywalling. The photos speak for themselves. read more

Raul was great. Very professional and easy to work with. He did high quality work and did it right on schedule. When he was done, everything was clean and you could barely tell he had been there. We would gladly hire Raul again. read more

We cannot recommend Raul highly enough! We came home from vacation to a broken pipe that burst through our ceiling, causing significant water damage. We also needed repairs from previous water leaks around our fireplace. From the moment Raul arrived, he was extremely professional, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Raul provides tremendous value with fair pricing and exceptional quality workmanship. My husband and I are very particular about our home, and we were truly impressed by the care he took throughout the entire project. He treated our home as if it were his own, hanging plastic sheeting from the ceiling to completely contain the mess, carefully taping everything off, covering all of our furniture, and taking every precaution to protect our home. When the work was complete, he thoroughly vacuumed and left everything spotless. My husband asked if he could add insulation in the ceiling while it was open to help reduce the sound of the pipes. Raul graciously agreed and only charged us for the cost of the insulation, which speaks volumes about his honesty and integrity. The drywall repair is flawless, and the painting was beautifully done with crisp, clean lines. It is rare to find someone who combines outstanding craftsmanship, professionalism, fairness, and genuine care for their customers the way Raul does. We are so grateful for the amazing job he did for us and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone needing drywall or painting work. Raul is truly a rare find! Raul’s Drywall Service - Drywall Installation & Repair Near Me

Rare find thanks to Yelp. After our water heater leaked in the garage, the stand it was on had damaged drywall, loose texture & peeling paint. I knew it was not an easy job to make it "look like it never happened". Luckily, I was able to find Raul on Yelp. He was easy to communicate with in person, and I could tell that he had seen this situation before! Drywall and texture can take a few days to do correctly, and Raul explained to me that some contractors prefer to get everything done in a day at the expense of quality. He showed up early, kept everything clean, and his work is EXCELLENT. If you ever have a drywall project, I'd strongly consider Raul, especially if you have a well lit area with texture that needs to look right. Overall excellent value, attention to detail & professional service. read more

Raul did a fantastic job at my house! I had a hole in the ceiling, and he redid the drywall, patched it, and textured it all at a low price. I'm really impressed with the quality and the attention to detail. I highly recommend Raul for any drywall or repair needs! read more

I had a pretty small ceiling hole from a second story leak, and had been "planning" to fix it myself while the hole just sat there. I found Raul and gave him a call, and it was absolutely the right decision. He immediately answered back, communicated about a date, and then showed up and got to work. I was particularly happy that he put a lot of effort into putting up the proper protection around the damaged area, as well as being very considerate to work around our morning schedule (I WFH and we homeschool our kids). He did a great job, charged us a fair price, and was communicative the whole way through. That's about all you can ask for. We will absolutely be calling him back the next time we have drywall work to be done. read more

Glad I found Raul on Yelp. He was very polite and professional, timely, precise and fairly priced. We had some plumbing done at our house that left holes in the ceiling drywall. Raul prepped the house to ensure no mess impacted our furniture, kitchen and floors. Each day that he came to the house, he placed new plastic from ceiling to floor which really helped us use our house between the days he was working. He covered the floors inside the house and outside to keep the mess to a minumum. The work covered 90% without even seeing the drywall rework. Overall really great experience. read more

I first contacted Raul regarding drywall repair and painting in the ceiling of one bedroom from water damage. He responded to my Yelp quote request quickly, came to my home to see the repair and provided a quote that was competitive. He was able to start quickly, he kept the dust as contained as possible and when finished the ceiling and walls looked new. His team is not familiar with electrical though so it you need lighting fixtures moved out of the way of their work, you need to have this done separately. We were so pleased with Raul's team that we've had them complete an outdoor wall repair and repaint our outdoor furniture. I would recommend Raul for quality work at a fair price. read more

He really took an interest in my project. He did a few extra things that were not part of the quoted work and didn't ask for more money. Raul is really good at what he does. Had some water damage to a ceiling and Raul took care of the removal, prep work, new drywall, primer and final paint work. Good plastic protection put down each day, clean up daily as well. We had a slight disagreement on the cost; I thought the price was firm given the ceiling work was pretty obvious, and if a few extra square feet of drywall was needed, this was included. Raul wanted to charge more than the agreed upon price... Raul was on time each day and the quality of his work is excellent. In the end I paid $100 more than the initially quoted amount. read more

We are very thankful we hired Raul's Drywall Services! They sent Ronald to our home to evaluate some damaged drywall in our downstairs utility closet. It turned out that the damage was caused over time by a leaking drainpipe! There was black mold as well. We had a separate plumber come to fix the pipe. Ronald came back to our house a few more times to do all the wall repairs that were needed. Our closet wall now looks so much better and brand new! Ronald was very polite and professional. We really appreciate how he worked around our schedule. And he did an excellent job with the repairs! He really takes pride in his work.
