The company was extremely efficient. The project was originally expected to take 5 to 7 days but was completed in 3 days instead. The project involved transforming blue walls back to off-white, repainting base boards, doors, ceilings and hallway cupboards white. I am extremely happy with the result and it feels like a brand new space. read more

This was my first time managing a large-scale exterior painting project for our HOA, and Justin and his team at Royal Painting did an outstanding job. They completed the work safely and with excellent attention to detail, leaving everything looking clean and professional. What impressed me most was their communication. Unlike many contractors who are hard to reach, Justin was always responsive and quick to address any requests or concerns. Thanks to Justin's extensive experience, he also provided many helpful suggestions that helped us save money in various areas. His color recommendations were perfect, and the final result exceeded our expectations. Safety was clearly a top priority for the team, which gave us great peace of mind throughout the project. They also referred several other homeowners during the job, and everyone they worked with was very satisfied. I highly recommend Royal Painting to any HOA or homeowner looking for reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective work. Thank you Justin and the whole team! read more

We found Justin/Royal Painting on a Yelp search. After obtaining quotes from previous companies who have done jobs at our home over the years (not overly satisfied by past jobs) and based on the Yelp reviews on Royal Painting, we decided to roll the proverbial dice and go with them. We had our master bedroom (Floor boards, ceiling, closet trim, built in desk top, four walls and door), hallway (floor boards, one wall and ceiling), guest bedroom (floor boards, closet trim and door), stairway (ceiling, filled in damaged areas from removal of carpet on stairs, new stair risers, hand rail and stair banister) completed in two days just as Justin promised. Justin's team did an excellent job laying down a full protective barrier on our new floors and taped everything off. After the first night, they left the work space very clean and when completed the second night, they mopped the floor that was on the other side of the plastic sheeting. They even labeled the left over paint with where it was put on in the house!! I HIGHLY recommend Royal Painting, we are so glad we "gambled" with giving them the job and we will be using them again in the near future. read more

Justin and his team were amazing. We originally planned for a grey with white trim look, but they pivoted at our request to white (with 2 coats) and black trim with no hesitation. Communication was great and value was outstanding. After the work was done, Justin's team waited as he walked all the details. He spotted minor imperfections that weren't up to his standards and they fixed them on the spot (we would've never noticed). As someone who works in the customer service industry, I can tell that Justin's 30 year experience in the industry puts him in a unique position to provide a quality of work that's unmatched. We're going to use Justin and his team for paint and stucco work again in Burbank and Glendale as well. We HIGHLY recommend Royal Painting. read more

Justin and the crew were very hard working, meticulous and provided high quality work at a competitive price. My wife and I have been putting off painting the exterior of the house due to cost and the stress that comes with a house project. However with Justin everything was super easy. He came and gave us a quote the same day, he was very detailed what was included. Justin and his team were very professional, experienced and got the job done right on schedule. Justin also came by a day after the job was completed to do a final walk through and confirm the painting was up to his standards. We're in love with the results we'll definitely be using him and recommending him for any future projects. read more

The entire experience was amazing. I had been putting off painting the exterior of my home for over a year because it felt overwhelming. I was concerned about picking out the right colors as well as undergoing a multiple day home project. However the owner Justin, as well as all the employees were patient, accommodating, and beyond meticulous. You could tell that they sincerely care about providing the best quality service and work and that they take pride in their workmanship. They were also very patient with me in selecting colors that I'd be happy with and assisted in recommending the right shades for the look I was trying to create (which is something that a lot of other painters brushed off during consultations). I'm not easily impressed but Royal Painting deserves 5 stars. Definitely give them a call and you'll know immediately that they're different from the others in attention, value, responsiveness and most importantly, work quality. read more

Royal Painting truly did a fantastic job on painting the exterior of my house. They took great care to cover my pool and protect every floor and surface from spills, which I really appreciated. Justin and his team have been absolutely phenomenal working on our home interior paint and redoing our kitchen cabinets. As first time homeowners it was really great to have someone so open and honest with the work being done. A number of times Justin also gave us advice for other projects we have going on we weren't sure how to handle. The best part of his teams work is how careful and detailed they are. They made sure every part of our home was protected and/or covered before they even got started. I highly recommend them for your next home Improvment needs! read more

We hired Royal Painting to repair and paint all of our exterior trim and siding on our ranch house with peaks. Since we've maintained our home well, the job wasn't too extensive, but we still wanted it done right. After getting three bids, we chose Royal Painting--not because they were the least expensive, but because of Justin Kim's professionalism and attentiveness. He listened carefully to our requests and gave us confidence that the work would be done properly. The crew was respectful, careful with our property, and thorough in their work. They pressure-washed the entire house, sanded, primed, and painted everything meticulously. The final result is beautiful, and we couldn't be happier. I had a VERY bad experience with Royal Painting. Justin is a painting contractor who runs crews with inexperienced painters that he does not know. He also has many jobs going at once so he is unable to supervise very well. Even after instructing his workmen to repair something one way, they did it their own way, and then he chewed them out in front of me, which I found to be very unprofessional . I know he lost money on my job because things had to be redone two or three times, and a big repair on my French doors was done incorrectly, and then not redone. I know Justin replaced the first crew he had on my house with different (better) painters, but sadly they were adding coats of paint over bad work just making things worse. And because the painters were taking longer than anticipated, when I added something to the job, to make up some of his losses , Justin wanted to charge me an exorbitant amount of money for the addition for which I told him I would pay half of what he was asking and he agreed. I feel I paid a lot of money for "professionals" when I could have probably gotten a better job done by hiring men from the parking lot at Home Depot. read more

Justin and his team did a great job in painting and repairing 25 pieces of rotted wood and repaired a damaged beam. They also fixed and painted some damaged stucco at my outdoor fireplace. He also did a great job painting my mother in laws exterior of her home several years ago and that is still looking great. He explains very well the process and I would definitely use him again!! read more

Before I moved into an older home, I wanted to get a fresh coat of paint on and add some color to make the space feel more welcoming. From the initial meet, Justin paid close attention to what I was looking for. We agreed on a really fair price to paint almost the entire house and front doors. Throughout the paint decision process, he was very patient, provided suggestions and was never pushy. Justin genuinely cared about what colors felt good with the house and would make me happy.
