I visited Disneyland Paris in November 2015 and I forgot to write a review of the Ratatouille ride! It's Disney magic at its finest! You are "shrunk" to the size of a mouse and riders get to follow everyone's favorite rodent chef, Remy, through a giant 3D kitchen. The attention to detail is amazing, especially in the queue area, so don't worry if you face a long wait.
You enter the ride through Gusteau's restaurant, in what's an incredibly detailed exterior and looks just like the animated movie. The line area snakes around the "rooftops" of Paris until it's time to board your ratmobile (yes, the ride cars look like rats)! **Insert squeals of glee here.** This is when the chase and adventure starts, with 3D animation adding to the frentic show (this is part ride / part movie but it works in a seamless fashion).
Since this ride is fairly new (it opened in 2013) and rather high tech, it breaks down quite frequently. Try to snag a fastpass if you can, and ride it as soon as you enter the park to avoid disappointment. It may be a bit too much for those who get easily queasy, but I suffer from mild motion sickness and I was okay on this ride. I had nothing but a slight bit of disorientation after riding, and it subsided within 5 minutes. In fact, I loved this attraction so much I turned around and got right back in line to ride again. read more
