I know this is one of the shining stars of this park not the mention the OG version of the ride but my home park is WDW Property so I know what I was in for (they are exact copies so if you've ridden one you've ridden both) The details in the queue are excellent. I'll give them that. A harkening back to the Eisner era. I did love that and the line wasn't too terrible for a weekend when I was there (fall 2024) however the one time we rode, we got stuck for 6 min on an error screen and then got pushed to the finally missing most of the ride with no apologies, no extra magic to compensate, no even acknowledging that after waiting in line for over 40 min we basically didn't get to ride the ride. It was my husbands first time on this particular ride (the line is is always over an hour at EPCOT so it's a no for him) so this was really disappointing read more

Such a fun ride - especially if you're a Ratatouille fan! I went on a Wednesday and the single rider line was consistently short, which made it super easy to ride more than once. It's a trackless ride, and you "shrink" down to Remy's size and scurry through a larger-than-life kitchen and restaurant. The movement is smooth, immersive, and full of charming little surprises. Even the queue is themed, making you feel like you're waiting on a Parisian rooftop next to Gusteau's restaurant. Definitely worth doing - especially if you can take advantage of the single rider line! read more

Adorable ride! Being from California, we don't have this ride at Disneyland California. I was super excited to go on this one!!! This is an easy, fun ride for all ages. I love that you sit inside a mouse and get thrown into the world of being a mouse lol It is so fun and unique. It's 3D or maybe 4D? You wear glasses and get spun around different scenes from the movie. It is really cool. There are times that you get squirted with a gust of wind or water lol This reminded me of California Soaring ride because you smell the orange groves when you go over them on the ride. Loved this ride! So much fun. :) read more

It is a motion-based trackless 3D dark ride, actual gigantic props that surrounds you, making you feel small as though you are the size of a rat. Similar set up as Universal's Transformer ride, we are guided through practical and virtual sets in the world of Remy and his Jedi guide, Gusteau. This is the cutest ride ever. Upon entering the premises everything is all of a sudden enlarged; you are made to feel that you are as small as a rat and you are hopping back-and-forth on the roof tops of Paris. Once you enter your cute rat shaped vehicle with your 3-D glasses, you scurry on through the ride as if you are Chef Remy and you are running around a huge kitchen. The attention to detail on this 4-D ride is simply amazing. You end the ride walking out right next Gusteau's restaurant and this definitely piques your appetite. Fast pass tickets are available for this ride and there's also a singer rider lane as well. Also this ride is exclusive to Disneyland Paris so make sure you take the opportunity to ride if you visit Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris. read more

I was finally able to get on this ride this year. The last time I was here, I never made it to this part of the Walt Disney Studios park. You'll wear one of those 3D glasses for this ride. It's actually one of those 4D experiences where you get to experience from the rat's point of view as you run through the kitchen. It's quite a mind trip as you're not moving some of the time, yet it feels like you are when you are watching the screen! Definitely a must ride since it is unique to Disneyland Paris. read more

I visited Disneyland Paris in November 2015 and I forgot to write a review of the Ratatouille ride! It's Disney magic at its finest! You are "shrunk" to the size of a mouse and riders get to follow everyone's favorite rodent chef, Remy, through a giant 3D kitchen. The attention to detail is amazing, especially in the queue area, so don't worry if you face a long wait. You enter the ride through Gusteau's restaurant, in what's an incredibly detailed exterior and looks just like the animated movie. The line area snakes around the "rooftops" of Paris until it's time to board your ratmobile (yes, the ride cars look like rats)! **Insert squeals of glee here.** This is when the chase and adventure starts, with 3D animation adding to the frentic show (this is part ride / part movie but it works in a seamless fashion). Since this ride is fairly new (it opened in 2013) and rather high tech, it breaks down quite frequently. Try to snag a fastpass if you can, and ride it as soon as you enter the park to avoid disappointment. It may be a bit too much for those who get easily queasy, but I suffer from mild motion sickness and I was okay on this ride. I had nothing but a slight bit of disorientation after riding, and it subsided within 5 minutes. In fact, I loved this attraction so much I turned around and got right back in line to ride again. read more

This ride was a creative and cute experience.  The building, the setup, the ride and even the restaurant at the end were all meshed and fully embodied the movie.  The line was killer but lucky we were able to maneuver around the mass of people just excited to go on this ride.   At the start of the ride the cars are shaped as mice, 4 people to a car.  You get in the mouse and you are basically transformed into the size of a mouse and Remy gives you a tour around the kitchen.  You try to escape the clutches of the crazy cooks from the kitchen. The ride is of course based on the "Ratatouille" movie but a bit sped up, so you're anxious throughout the ride what scene will come next. At one point we're traveling above the rooftops and see Remy & his imaginary Chef Gusteau deciding what to cook. Of course they decide on Ratatouille. We move on but manage to fall through a glass pane & into the kitchen below! We are chased by other cooks through the kitchen, under a stove, through the vents & into the restaurant itself just like in the movie. Chef Linguini aids our escape & we finish in a room filled with other rats celebrating the cooking of Remy.  During the ride there were some occasional effects like hot bursts of heat when you are under an oven or a cool breeze when we hide under a fridge.  The ride fit very well with the movie and was an out of the experience.  This is definitely a must do ride when you visit. The shortest line is usually the solo riders line so if your group doesn't mind splitting up, that's the best way to get in amd out. Also they have a restaurant that you can conveniently walk into after the ride that looks like a scene straight out of the movie! read more

This ride is great but if you have motion sickness you might not feel good. It's very fast and it's like a 3-D ride. It makes you feel like you're a little rat and are running away from humans. This ride is definitely unlike any other ride I've ever been on. What do you expect it's Disney and all they do is give the best!!! read more

We visited the restaurant while on our honeymoon in Paris in January. And I wasn't impressed and definitely would not go back. It's a sit down restaurant in Disney studios, we had made reservations and yet still had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to be seated. This lead me to believe that they were super busy...when we finally were seated (in the corner right after you enter the dining room, worst seating ever. I got to stare at the entrance for all of dinner...not really the atmosphere I was hoping for while dining in Disney studios while honeymooning. I believe my Wife enjoyed her view however...she was facing out and able to see all the decor) the dining room was practically empty! Then our waiter came, and really was a bit degrading in his manner. It made me extremely uncomfortable. I ordered a glass of wine...which we repeated at least 3 times because he didn't seem to understand. And then he brought a whole bottle, we once again told him, and yet he preceded to leave the bottle on our table. So when he came back I told him I didn't want a whole bottle...just a glass and that my wife doesn't drink, which we had also repeated several times. He seemed quite irritated at that point and removed the bottle (finally!) from our table. Our food came and it was okay, nothing spectacular but good enough. All in all, I think we would have had a better time if we had been seated differently, if the service had been more along with typical Disney friendliness (was the rudest service we encountered for the week we were in Paris) and if maybe they had mentioned or even acknowledged we were on our honeymoon...we had put it on the reservation because they had asked, and mentioned it when we checked in because they asked...and yet nothing beside kind of ruining our evening with what seemed to be grump of a waiter! In the end...it was super overpriced for what it was and had none of the things we love about Disney. Extremely disappointing. read more
