Located on Montaigne Avenue, the Dior Gallery is a stunning walk through experience through Christian Dior's journey and designs across the years. Tucked amongst the buildings on the street, it's almost hard to believe how large the gallery is on the inside as there is so much to see from dresses to accessories to magazines and more. Upon entering, the exhibition starts at the top floor, where you make your way through the building and steadily downwards on a journey through time. This is a fun experience for those who love fashion, history, and art, but there is truly much to appreciate for someone coming in with no prior knowledge or expectation. This gallery is extensive and they change out the pieces periodically, so there's a lot of re-visit value. The gallery goes beyond fashion and has moments discussing Christian Dior's personal life, the building itself, and how the Dior name continues to thrive in modern-day couture. At the end of the gallery they have their own Dior Le Café, which carries both drinks and food, and a mini gift shop section. I found it a great spot to relax and rechage. *Lucky Sando en trio: This trio of sandwhiches was delicious and larger than expected for a tea-time-style snack. The egg-mayonnaise was moist and flavorful, tasting as expected. I enjoyed the smoked salmon and cucumber one which provided a refreshing and cooler-tasting sandwich. The chicken with spices was the most unique one of the three. It had tumeric and other spices that made it stand out. It held the most umami. *Caesar salad with Chicken: This dish was crafted together at table-side which was both unexpected and lovely to experience! I appreciated the different toppings to what I thought was going to be a generic salad, and the overall outcome was very vibrant. The chicken itself is a fully seasoned and cooked fillet, making this dish very filling. *Chocolate Chaud: This is my favorite drink in France, and ordering it here was no different. Deeply rich and made with heavy cream and dark chocolate, chocolate chaud tastes like drinking liquid chocolate straight from a pot. Generally, you can purchase tickets online for a specific date and time with full price being 16 EUR, though there are discounted options available. You can also try your hand for a walk-in visit, though the line can get rather long. I was fortunate enough to enter for free and without a wait, which I am extremely grateful to the team for!
If you're a fan of fashion and Dior, then definitely recommend getting tickets and visiting this museum! The path is laid out so you just walk through the different exhibits to see all of Dior's exquisite dresses and purses and everything that makes up the House of Dior. There a large Dior boutique and cafe right next door too so you can do some shopping afterwards.
I wanted to go to the Dior Museum last year when we were in Paris but didn't know that I needed to book ahead so we missed out. This time I made sure to make our reservations several weeks out. Upon arrival we still had to wait in a short line before entering and once we were inside it was quite crowded, but this was completely worth it. Getting to see the vintage and new Dior designs up close and in person was a real treat. Highly recommend!
The Dior Gallery was super fun to go through! My boyfriend and I waited approximately half an hour in line, and the experience inside bottlenecks at the front but disperses throughout the exhibit. They detail Christian Dior's personal life and his connection with his mother's garden in his childhood and how it inspired him as his muse. Ready-to-wear garments from creative directors past like John Galliano and Maria Grazia Chiuri are displayed, allowing the viewer an opportunity to discern how each individual interpreted the meaning of Dior's image. I personally preferred the timeless beauty of Galliano's, but Maria has managed to keep Dior designs fresh, youthful, and relevant in the modern day high fashion environment (which is no easy feat, considering how quickly fast fashion trends attract our attention and come and go!). I admire that Dior is not a designer who compromises comfort for beauty or who attempts to nullify the female silhouette, too often male designers create clothing without regard for the individual whose body must bear the burden of tightened corsets and chafed heels. His pieces accentuate the female body by flaring out at the hip or appropriately supporting the bust without being overly garish. If you are traveling with men or a man, it's worth it to split off and go to this alone or try to bring them- you might manage to change their minds and convince them that fashion is a medium of art that has a primarily negative connotation due to either public interpretation or the fact that it is primarily curated with women in mind. The experience inside is immersive and lasts for approximately an hour to two depending on how intensely you study each piece, so the wait was very worth it. I'm happy I got to experience this once in a lifetime gallery honoring one of the most celebrated fashion names of our time.
If you're a fashion fan--or even if you're not--Dior Gallery is definitely worth a visit when in Paris. The museum is stunning, both inside and out, with beautiful architecture that adds to the overall experience. We visited during the holiday season, and it was truly magical, with festive decorations enhancing the experience . So much eye candy ! You do need to reserve your tickets in advance for a timed entry , but once you're inside you can take your time on a self guided tour. It's amazing! The beautiful dress displays and the cool stories behind them . We very much enjoyed our visit . After you do the tour it ends at the Dior cafe . It's not the best coffee or sweets , but we still ended up ordering an espresso just to sit and relax . They have nice clean bathrooms . Entry cost is very reasonable. Highly recommend for a visit :)
Wasn't sure what to expect from La Galerie Dior, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The walk-through tour was beautifully curated, showcasing Dior's history and artistry in such an immersive way, even my husband really enjoyed it! A must-visit for anyone in Paris, whether you're a fashion lover or just appreciate great design.
Spectacular! Please go it's truly beautiful! Words don't do this exhibit justice! I bought tickets ahead of time because I missed this on my past visit to Paris. There were people on the stand by line that got in, but I'd recommend getting tickets since that didn't work last time I was there. Well worth the ticket price.. I believe it was around 15 Euros.
Wow wow wow . First time at a fashion house . Learned so much . A lot cooler than I could ever expect . So big . Was in there about 2 hours and then afterwards went to the Dior cafe . OmG !!!! That star praline mousse dessert I had was one of the best desserts I've ever had. It was definitely worth the $25 lol and then I got a lobster lobster ceviche roll and that was amazing. I didn't think you it didn't look as good as it tasted, and it blew me away. Everything was so good probably one of the best things I've eaten in Paris lol
Unbelievably incredible. Even my husband who couldn't care less about Dior, fashion, or art for that matter loved this. It does seem that the exhibits change often-for example we were there in October 2024 and there was a garment worn by a celebrity the week before on display, plus many looks form the Olympic ceremonies this past summer. If you're a fashion guru you have to stop here. ICONIC right off the bat-as soon as you walk in you will the the New Look. I wasn't expecting to see that up so close or so soon. I plan to return on every visit to Paris now. Definitely make a reservation way in advance (we did ours 2 months in advance I believe) because there will be a very long line to get in and you may not.
A small museum but very much worth visiting. A large quantity of Mr Dior dresses are beautifully displayed, and you should plan between one and two hours to see all of them. You also learn about the man and the luxury brand he created. I recommend buying the tickets in advance as the space is limited and the lines can be long. Totally worth it!
Highly recommend booking this fashion museum while in Paris. It books in advance so make sure to coordinate a timed ticket for your trip when planning ahead. The first room was backed up with a line but once you get through that - there is an endless number of rooms and exhibits and high fashion with all roads leading back to Dior. For fashion and history lovers, this is a great exhibit to check out!
La Galerie Dior was an exquisite experience. We arrived on time by three minutes a cause de the traffic. Note: If your tickets are for 11:00 am you want to be there at least 30 minutes before but if you're not able to get there 30 minutes before as long as you have paper copies of your tickets. Yes, you can have digital versions but the word I heard was it is preferred to have paper copies. NOTE: I had read online that the Galerie Dior was climate-controlled and it might be. I had understood it to be cold so we were wearing jackets. It was not cold inside at all but very warm. It was cumbersome to carry jackets and look at all the exhibits. My advice would be to skip any big bulky winter jackets. Once you go inside, it's stunning. Take a moment to stare at the showcase surrounding the stairs and enjoy the views. After admiring the collection get in the elevator to the third floor and begin your journey. You start with a history of the Dior family and then weave your way through multiple exhibits including dresses. NOTE: Do not stand too close to the dresses or try to bypass those who are taking a longer time as warning sensors will activate. We were a guest to an orchestra of beeping throughout the third floor. The dresses are a sight to be seen. It was an amazing experience and I won't add any spoilers but enjoy every step in the world of Fashion and see it through Christian Dior's eyes. We did enjoy a break at their cafe. It was uber haute culture and I felt severely underdressed but the desserts and the coffee were top-notch. For the four of us, coffee, drinks, and desserts was 78 euros. I recommend La Galerie Dior as a visit for your time in Paris
The exhibit changes over ever so often to create a new experience. Truly superlative. The design and organization of this museum/gallery are exquisite.
Super cool experience; amazing multi-level boutique, fantastic restaurant, and a museum to Dior that was truly stunning! Our store in the US called them to set up the whole experience. Definitely worth the time, but you'll end up spending a lot of money. Fun experience for high end consumers. read more

Honestly, this is sadly an overrated place and not worth your time. There are far too many people that get crammed into the experience that stop you from being able to easily navigate through the museum and god forbid you cross the star barrier around the place - which is so sensitive that it's impossible to view any details on the dresses themselves - and when you do cross that line you will be approached by the angriest security possible who want to make sure you are cattle and don't belong here and that crossing the barrier is an affront to god himself. Give this place a miss and go to an actual museum like the V&A so you can get up close and personal with the actual creations of Maison Dior. P.S. As I was leaving I overheard a member of staff yelling at someone that they needed to pay an additional euro, getting progressively louder instead of trying to actually assist and clearly communicate. read more

Okay, so the museum is amazing. The rainbow stair case of Dior is amazing to behold and the fashions throughout are just incredible and it's better than most Met fashion exhibits I've been to (the McQueen & China exhibits being the notable exceptions.) But I'm here for the food. The chocolate and blackberry mousse tartlet was hands down the best pastry I had in Paris. The offerings are beautiful but pricey. However, totally worth it and wish I'd ordered more. read more

A very unique museum in Paris and got to know more about Mr Dior and his creations...there are a lot of valuable pieces at the museum and the rooms were so pretty. You will need about 2 hours to look through everything. read more
Wow this place is a cute friend date, mom and daughter date, and even a solo date! I love the history and all the designs. I don't own a lot of dior but the different dresses and bags was just pretty to look at. I would recommend getting a ticket before so you don't have to wait too long. Overall I had an amazing time and highly recommend read more
We weren't sure what to expect but the experience certainly blew us away and exceeded expectations. The tour consists of 13 sections/rooms, each filled with wonderful history/story/interactive. Very well assembled galerie. We spent about 1.5 hours in the space. Note the pieces are not original, but rather recreated. read more
WOW! Very impressive gallery showcasing the history of the atelier and its many classic and elegant pieces. This experience was further elevated by Masoud who gave us a private tour of the gallery before opening. What a wonderful experience! read more

Absolutely stunning! One of the best museum experiences I've been to. Went there with my three kids and husband. My teenage girls ages 15 were in awe. My husband was even impressed! It is absolutely a must do if you love Dior or fashion and history. Elegantly put together and an incredible amount of love and attention in the exhibit that said You're not overwhelmed with details. Not only the dresses are gorgeous, but every room is so meticulously designed and gives a completely different atmosphere. These bought the tickets online. When we arrive, there was a bit of a queue but only had to wait less than 10 mins. It took us about 1.5 hours to get through. Prolly could have been less but I am a huge fan of Dior so ww really took my time. The last room was unbelievable...I was so floored and amazed. I literally almost cried because it was so breathtaking and moving. My photos and videos do not do it justice. read more

A MAGICAL, must - do exhibit in Paris. You don't have to like Dior, or even love fashion to appreciate this glimpse into the Maison Christian Dior's universe. And any appreciation for fashion and or fashion history would make this just that much better. The exhibit is adjacent to the famous storefront, at 30 Avenue Montaigne. It's a magical walkthrough of 70 years of Dior's history in 13 parts. It starts with Christian Dior's childhood and personal life, includes hundreds of dresses in the flesh, and is completed with the succession of his brand, by designers like Raf Simons and Maria Grazia. And at the very end of the immaculate collection is an exquisite little cafe that is perfectly glamorous, haute couture, and Parisian. We purchased our tickets online a couple weeks before visiting and many time slots were already gone. So book ahead! And as is the case for all museums/galleries, the earlier you go the less busy and therefore the more enjoyable. I think the only downside to this experience is that they do let in a lot of people at a time and the space is quite tight and the fonts are quite small. The "Dior" ness attracts a lot of people who aren't interested in actually appreciating or learning, and soooo the audience can be a little disruptive to the magic. read more
So beautiful & amazing! This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. If you love fashion, I highly recommend you come here. Make sure to book in advance as the queue gets long. Many iconic dresses here such as the good dress Charlize Theron wore in the J'Adore Dior perfume commercials, many award ceremony dresses, a dress worn by Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor, the list goes on. They also take you through the eras of Dior designers. Seeing all the Galliano pieces in person was breathtaking. Such a shame how things ended for him. Designs were brilliant. 10/10. I would definitely go again. read more

Prancing past designer windows, dreaming of luxury is an inevitable part of the Parisian experience: La Galerie Dior makes those dreams a reality. You don't need to be a fan of Haute Couture, or have a care about fashion to be able to appreciate the artistry and global inspiration embedded in the Dior brand. The designer's history is beautifully curated colorfully and chronologically from his early childhood through his life-long legacy that continues to influence modern fashion and self-expression. Every room is thematically organized by collection; each capturing the essence of the clothing. The Dior Cafe is an unexpected surprise awaiting the end of the experience, and while expectedly overpriced, the desserts were uniquely good. read more
The most BEAUTIFUL gallery I've ever been to! I'm not that into fashion, but it was still such an amazing experience. I loved looking at all the dresses and learning more about Christian Dior. Highly recommend booking in advance for time slotted tickets, though the stand-by queue is very empty towards the last entry times. Still amazed! read more
