A very cool building. We didn't realize there wasn't an exhibition so it was just a walk to tour the cool building. This was probably was the best case scenario because that meant no crowds and we were able to explore the place at our own pace and take our time. There was a lack of information of what we could see so we just followed the crown going up the floors and seeing the terraces on the roof. There was a VR experience but we didn't do that. You can also see the gardens but it started to rain so we just headed off to our next destination.

When Bernard Arnault visited the Guggenheim in Bilbao he said "I want one," and when you're that wealthy and influential it is generally pretty easy to get what you want - in this case a €790 million building from Frank Gehry originally budgeted at just €100. Opened in 2014 at the center of a sizeable park this is truly a masterpiece, even for Gehry, with thousands of individually sized glass plates over a metal framework meant to suggest a sailboat. Visited during an exhibit, or during off days for the building VR tour, tickets are easy to purchase online and worth the cost.

First and foremost, Frank Gehry has outdone himself with this incredible building. This is possibly his finest work. The exhibitions here are expertly curated.

Best David Hockney retrospective to date. It includes his latest iPad drawings across 4 floors of exhibit space. His portraitures and landscapes are well represented. His love for opera is shown in virtual cinema.

Went for the architecture, stayed for the art. Sort of like a Parisian Getty Museum. Manageable art exhibit and plenty of outside areas to stroll through. The dedicated shuttle from the Charles de Gaulle - Étoile station was really convient and on time. Great value and would definitely visit if you've already been to many of the big Paris museums!

Meeeh just went up to see the view then came back out because there was nothing else to see other than a view and the garden. if there is no exhibition open don't waste your time coming here unless you never been to The Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA. This place reminded me of a see thru version up on a hill surrounded by garden. The only LV I saw was the 3 cases above the restaurant. The museum bookstore was cool tho . I would be back when the exhibition is open to check it out.

Such a great find in Paris. We stumbled upon this and loved seeing it. Great to see the history and evolution of the brand. Also a great shop with items I've never seen anywhere else. I would recommend to anyone who loves the brand.

This Frank Gehry designed building that houses rotating art exhibits is worth a visit. Air-conditioned and spacious it also offers great city views from the top terraces. And Louis Vuitton gift shop I'm sure will be of interest for some.

Amazing what can be created and accomplished when money is not an issue. Start with the venue, splendid setting within the Bois de Boulogne, the structure clearly Frank Gehry at his best and lastly the art itself extensive and inspiring! Just a wonderful morning.

The Location: Metro #1, Exit "Les Sablons". About 10 minutes walk from the metro station. But once you exit, there are clear sign directing you to the museum. The Admission: 14 euro An incredible boat floating above the ground, the Fondation Louis Vuitton designed by Frank Gehry. LOVE LOVE LOVE this contemporary design. Such unique architecture!!! There are 11 galleries, auditorium, restaurant and library. You can enjoy panoramic views from the building's different terraces.

I found myself completely by chance at The Fondation Louis Vuitton, in fact, I was going to the Jardin d'Acclimatation when I noticed a sign indicating that building, I then asked the park's hostess what it was, and she replied that it was an art gallery and that if I bought a ticket for this activity, that the entrance to the garden was free: No need to repeat it twice, in no time I was on my way to the foundation. 14 euros later, I entered this beautiful jewel of architecture. On the ground floor, you will find a restaurant, a souvenir shop and the first section of the current exhibition. In the basement, you will find El Grotto and the beautiful fountains of the building, but my highlight of this visit was to find out that the work of one of my favorite artists of the moment, Takashi Murakami, was exhibited on the second floor. Needless to say that I had an amazing time there: the patio is beautiful and the view of the business district and the Eiffel Tower is excellent ... I strongly recommend this place to lovers of arts and architecture.

The exhibit was pretty interesting, but the most captivating piece of art is the architecture by Frank Gehry.
