This is probably the most iconic spot in Paris and whether it's day or night, it's absolutely stunning. Getting right up close requires an entrance fee, but the structure is massive and can easily be seen from multiple areas nearby (alongside throughout the city). We found the grounds below made for a perfect spot to sit and eat lunch on one of the benches. There's a metro stop nearby, which was awesome for having access via public transportation. It's an awesome photo opp spot. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Eiffel Tower Romance Sometimes I need to take a imaginary trip in time. That's this review. It happened in reality a long time ago. I'm getting away now by going back to visit in my fantasies. When you go to Paris you must see the tourist attractions. The day my daughter planned to visit the neighborhood of the Eiffel Tower turned out to be very windy. That was my last visit to Paris. We went, saw, I took my photos, and then we sat in a nearby cafe for a warm cup of Espresso. The travel price is very good in the Fall. Now with Covid it doesn't look like anyone will be Romantic here! Unless you are a resident maybe. One visit I was there in August. That was definitely before Global Warming. My daughter and I went to Paris in the Fall. It was a beautiful cool week. I would visit Paris again in a warmer month to go up in the Eiffel Tower again. I would love to see the city once more from the Eiffel Tower. The important thing is to consider the weather before you go. I did purchase a tiny replica souvenir from a Street Vendor. The deals on souvenirs are much better from a vendor than at the Tower. I have my little Eiffel Tower where I see it every day. In my opinion this landmark is the Romantic equal to meeting on the Observation Deck of the Empire State Building. Meeting someone at the Eiffel Tower (or Honeymooners visiting) is very Romantic to me. I just happened to be there with friends or my daughter when I visited. Fun but I wouldn't say romantic! I used my imagination.

For an anniversary, I had reserved an Airbnb with the view of the Eiffel and the bridge. Little did I know, it would be so close to the Eiffel, we just needed to walk down the stairs and voila! It was such an amazing surprise! I kid you not, we were there EVERY SINGLE DAY! Who is to say that's not the dream? It sure was mine and it was brought to life! The busy bustling streets, the crowded transit and the street performances gave me chills! The daily baked fresh bread and the choices of the pastry was enormous! I can't lie, if I said we gained so much weight in Paris because of all the food places close by! Just a result of us being so close, but definitely a plus! A highlight of my trip! I'll be back for you, mon amor!

Always saw this as one of the world's most amazing architectural structures. The closer I got, the more in awe I was. Stood in line for over two hours to get an elevator ticket to the top! So worth it, the view was breathtaking.

It looks amazing from any angle you look at it from, you do not have to pay to enjoy this beautiful monument. I personally walked by Rue de l'Université and took fantastic photos from there, walked by the park (grass area) underneath the Eiffel tower and also took great pictures there, to look at it from a view I paid the Arc de Triomphe at night and looked at it lid up and it was the most beautiful view you can imagine. I did not see any bad people around the area, just sellers but nobody bothered me or tried to steal anything, my experience was great!

The Eiffel tower such a beautiful site. For a fee you can take the elevator to the top and enjoy a breath taking view of the city

I honestly never knew how absolutely stunning this was. I do not think anyone is fully prepared for how amazing this thing is until you actually go see it for yourself. We went several times during the day and you can see it from just about anywhere, but to stand beside it and look up at it with all its glory... Damn Paris, I'm in love. On our last night, after a very special dinner, we hopped on scooters and scooted on over. we arrived just before midnight and found the perfect viewing spot. When the clock stricked 12.... the tower started to sparkle and WOW, just talking about it now is taking my breath away. For a full 5 min, we just stared at it, in complete awe. (The tower sparkles for the first 5 min of every hour - just be sure to check what hour it begins at, but my reccomendation is to go at midnight, its so damn special.) Paris, I love you!

It's an iconic place and you get so the vibes it's beautiful at night I'm eating it 5 stars simply because it's true to its rep it's like what the Statue of Liberty wanted to be but didn't achieve. This place is often replicated but not duplicated; therefore if you find yourself in the areas just go cmon it's a memory of a lifetime.

What an amazing place to visit. Besides the beauty of the tower, there is a park below that people enjoy a nice lunch or bottle of wine. There are a lot of vendors selling souvenirs all the way around the tower. Make sure to walk around it as there is one side that is located next to the water. Beautiful path to walk around the water. Also nice pastry shops and restaurants to grab a bite to eat. Would love to have seen it at night because I hear it's beautiful all lit up with lights.

If you are visiting Paris. You can't leave Paris with out a visit to the Eiffel Tower. I recommend you wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for lines. It's well worth the wait to see the Eiffel Tower. I absolutely loved the spectacular views of Paris. You won't be disappointed! Definitely check out the amazing brassiere's in the area. You can sit down and enjoy seeing the Eiffel Tower. I personally feel it's a must visit when in Paris! I definitely was not disappointed and would visit again in the near future.

I recently visited Paris and I was completely blown away by the Eiffel Tower. It was breath taking if you end up going to Paris this has to be you're first stop. Make sure you take the lift all the way to the top the view from the top is absolutely amazing.

We were so excited to come here. Even though it is beautiful to see. It wasn't all what we expected. To see it light up at night was cool. Also just to say you saw it was cool too. But would we come here again. Probably not..

The catacombs are part of Paris' abandoned mine and quarry network, and bones were moved to the catacombs because the cemeteries were running out of space. The first bones were transferred from the Cimetière des Saints-Innocents after the cemetery was closed in 1780 due to overuse. The catacombs are an extremely popular attraction, and purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended as a limited number of people are admitted each hour, and with good reason -- the experience would be extremely unpleasant if overly crowded. However, you can only purchase tickets one week in advance, and the catacombs are not open on Mondays. The two full days we were in Paris were Sunday and Monday, so I had to ensure that we were able to get tickets for Sunday April 7. Fortunately I was successful! Tickets were €29 each, although per the website, they are now €31. Unfortunately, the catacombs are not accessible for people in wheelchairs or who have mobility issues -- the 1.5km long route has 243 stairs -- 131 to descend and 112 to ascend. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and if you want to see bones and skulls (no full skeletons, though), the Paris catacombs won't disappoint! The admissions price you pay is worth it. You just don't see this type of local flair anywhere else. Soak in the history about Paris and also its darker side. Your perspective about things will change, for most people anyway. The takeaway the hubs took from this experience is that nothing really matters at the end. It's a real eye opening experience TBH. As you wander the dark corridors, you will see piles of real human bones piled in neat stacks. It was saddening to realize that these were once human beings. Now they are part of a collection of unknown souls. It was just a down to earth experience. The audio tour will allow you to wander at your pleasure so there's no real rush or live tour. The building combines historic palace architecture with vast modern exhibition spaces. Inside, the experience unfolded through sheer size more than anything else. Galleries branched in multiple directions, each holding different periods and regions, from ancient civilizations to classical European art. I moved through long corridors and open halls, sections that shifted in both atmosphere and lighting depending on the collection. One moment I was in a dimly lit room of Greek antiquities, the next I was under bright skylights surrounded by French paintings. Even without focusing on individual works, the density of what is housed here was immediately noticeable. The layout encouraged wandering rather than a strict path, and I found it easy to lose track of time moving between rooms, staircases, and open gathering areas. Some sections felt busier and more compressed, especially around the most famous works. Other areas opened up into quieter pockets where the scale of the building became more apparent. I booked our tickets 2 months in advance, and was able to get the opening day slot for two. And just 20 minutes after opening, the room 711 in the Denon Wing where the Mona Lisa is, got packed. You can spend the whole day here and still not have seen everything. There are multiple floors filled with art work, and luckily there are elevators. There's also a small cafe, and restaurant on the first level, and then another cafe at the second. At the exit it almost turns into a mall of shops and eateries.
