Friendly & good service, Lamb curry was nice but nan bread was only ok (i like it doughyer) pakora was crispy and chips were good but could be better donner meat, not as good as Noor (but not many are) Only cost me £12 and had enough for 2.5 people dinner and small lunch the following day for 2. Menu too big IMO and should concentrate on what they are best at but cause its in centre of town needs to have everything for drunkshmmm. Kings still has best chicken pakora but might go back anyway.

i'm not sure if it's still called yummi, but it is a chinese restaurant. i had a meal in here a few…read moreweeks ago for the first time. it was lovely. the service is second to none, the food was amazing and the portions were enormous. we'd had a starter first, but if i'd have known the size of the main meal i wouldn't have bothered. i could barely eat it. i forced down little over a quarter, it was delicious, but i just could not manage any more. they waitress, offered to put it into a takeaway box for me to take home. i'm glad i did, we shared it later that night for supper and it was even nicer. i will definitely go back here. they also do takeaways and home deliveries. the restaurant wasn't too busy but it was about 5.30pm we went, so it probably fills up a bit later.

(After 8pm) We had probably just missed the Sunday dinner time rush. The mixed pakora starters were lovely - including haggis pakora and both curries - korma and jalfrezi were delicious too. The size of the portions were ample as we couldn't eat it all and also left some rice and nan bread. Friendly staff and quick service.Don't know what it would be like if busy though. Would recommend if you weren't looking for a top notch, expensive or fancy decorated Indian restaurant. But definitely nice enough for a small part of town.

On…read morecalling the shop to find out how much longer my order would be the receptionist 'didn't want to speak on the phone' as i overherd her saying to the delivery driver. He then told me he had tried to deliver my food but there was no answer. No one has came to my door and they also had my mobile number which never got called. My partner then went to the shop to pick up the food and was told it wasn't there. They hadn't even made the order then tried to lie about it and by this time it was too late to eat from elsewhere. Never eating from any of these takeaways again the worst service after being a customer for over 10 years I am very disappointed. The receptionist was terrible and clearly had no training. Very poor standards.
