And when I put it on the scales, it was only 0.8lbs. I told the fishmonger, who served me, to weight it again and put the right price on the sticker but he refused to do it and kept saying the weight is right, and if I want to complain I can complain to a manager. I went to a cashier and called for a manager. It took a while for the manager to come out but he took care of the issue. I attached pictures of the weight and price before and after it got fixed. The fishmonger name is RUBEN. He was so rude and not cooperative at all. and after talking to one of the cashiers, there has been a a lot of complain about his bad attitude and rudeness. I have been to this store for so many years and see their service is from bad to worse, most of the clerks are not professional at all, especially those are in meat and seafood counter.

We finally decided today would be the day! It took a few turns around the towne center area to find the farmers market. When we got there the place was pretty packed. Everything looked and smelled so fresh. Many vendors were eager to give out samples as we passed by trying to decide what we wanted to buy. My sister had tried the juice vendor before, so we knew we wanted to get some fresh juice. Tasted soo good. Will have to come back for more of this. The price is $6-7 per glass bottle. We also ended up with an unplanned purchase of pears (red and green ones) and apples from a fruit vendor at the end of the farmers market. The nice man insisted we try his pears, which we kindly declined at first, but he was so passionate about wanting us to try his fruit we gave in. He sliced up a red pear and gave me the whole thing to eat. After one bite, I understood why he wanted to give out samples because there was no way you could walk away without making a purchase! Even my baby sister who isn't a bug fruit person to begin with enjoyed the samples. Their pears at a glance didn't look that good, so I can see why they needed to get people to taste it. Lol. This vendor really stood out to me and will be back to support their business and their delicious fruit. On the way back to the front of the market, we noticed there was coffee from seven syllables. I've been wanting to try their coffee, so I was glad to see them! I ordered the ube latte and my sister got their vanilla latte. My ube latte looked like it'd be super sweet, but to my surprise it was not sweet and could taste their coffee which I appreciated! I would order this again. The repice calls for item out of my range. Datu Puti soy sauce and Datu Puti vinegar. Along with fish sauce which I am aquited with. Used it in Chinese dishes years ago but today none in the pantry. So off I go to Amazon and found the Datu Puti soy and vinegar for $13.99 for both. But something told me to look around my supermarkets. Nothing at Ralphs. So I asked my Fillipino coworker and he recommended Island Pacific Supermarket in Cerrittos. I enjoy trying new places. Not only did I find my items but found a value pack for both at $3.99. I also picked up a bottle of 750 ml Datu Puti fish sauce for $4.29. This is not your regular supermarket. It's a fish market and boy do they have fish. Fresh fish on ice of all varieties. There is a deli with hot food of different cultures. Not aquited with the names or favor but I am going to do some research for a future lunch. Looks good though. I did a fast walk around. Found in the frozen section a big bag of lumpias 4lbs for $27.99. I put this on my wish list for a future dinner. And YES "I will be back".
