They even have room for the mid-sized shopping carts that can hold a couple of cases while you shop and make way to the cashier. We were in a Mexican fiesta mood, so picked up a 12 bottle case of Corona, and another of Dos Equis (XX) Sampler. Bought a supply of Lime at Tanner Bros. True, the price of cerveza goes up all the time, especially for the imports, but there is something to be said for comfort and convenience in brew buying. Cold Spring opens at 9 during the week, giving it a leg up on other local distributors who open later in the morning. Never too early for fiesta!

The owners have carefully and intentionally built a deep, wide inventory of some of the finest international wines available anywhere in the region. I walked in looking for a Castello di Gabbiano Piemonte Moscato -- preferably an '08. After nosing around their beautifully appointed oak shelves and bins I found it, and right alongside several other, difficult-to-find Moscatos. There's even a section dedicated to the wines of Georgia (the region in the South Caucasus -- not the state) and a remarkably good selection of German whites. The friendly owners love wine and they're in the process of establishing an upmarket Italian food and wine store in nearby Frenchtown. This is worth the trip.

The moonshine comes in fun flavors like apple pie, sweet tea, root beer, and a few more! They also have a water bowl out front and a beautiful sign on the window that says Dogs Welcome. Other locations include Jim Thorpe (dogs allowed inside) and Williamsport (dogs allowed outside).

The root beer one was my fav, but I couldn't think how I would use it. The bourbon was good and I might have purchased but for the fact that there are many many great bourbons now, some being several dollars cheaper. I did get their clear 91 proof whiskey that I thought was unique, and somewhat tequila like. They have merch available as well as interesting food items that they make at the distillery. Trader Joe's may want to take a closer look to see if any product copyrights were violated ;) My friend bought picked onions that I'm curious about. Customer service was fun and informative, definitely a good spot to get out of the hustle and bustle of NH on a busy day!

I've had the chance to browse the wine selection, and it is legit. Some close outs that I've tried in the under $10 range were very good, and mid range choices have been tasty too. They offer more expensive items as well, but I usually do not spend over $20 for a bottle unless it is a VERY special occasion. I was further impressed when I saw that they carry my favorite local winery, and at cheaper( pre-discounted) prices than are available there. The scotch section is better than other stores of this size, and items I buy elsewhere are a few $ cheaper here. They also carry a few very good lower priced single malts that I've not seen elsewhere. I recently grabbed a Deanston for about $21, it drinks like examples double the price. I'm not a frequent beer drinker so the limited selection does not impact me. I do enjoy Stella hard cider, again a few $ cheaper here than any other place I know of. Lastly just a note about customer service. On each visit I've seen the same gentleman at the register, he seems most knowledgeable of all the employees, and has given me some good advice. On my must recent visit I asked his opinion between 2 Pinot Noirs, one being $7 more. He steered me towards the cheaper, and it was a good pick. This is now my go to store unless I am hunting for a rarer beer or wine.

Bathrooms were clean. Food is from Pag's pub which was your standard fare. Nothing to rave about but it does pair well with wines. Our bartender was awesome. Service was quick. Will definitely have this on our rotation of places to go for a chill, quiet, slightly more upscale meal/apps. I hope the secret doesn't get out or we won't get seats soon!

They were busy and not paying…read moreattention (they gave us a menu and we sat there for 15 minutes with not a single interaction-we barely saw any of the staff) to us so I went to the bar (we were in a little hurry because we had to pick up our son in half an hour). The person behind the bar said that we would have to wait because other people were ahead of us and they only had 2 people working. Not only did they not have enough people working the person behind the bar was rude to me and seemed to blame me for the situation. This is unacceptable. The bottom line is we will not be coming back here.
