On the morning of the event, I received a call from the salon letting me know the stylist Gracie was sick but was told to come in anyway and they would "try to figure it out." We showed up, and while I was getting my hair done, the front desk staff attempted to do my daughter's hair despite clearly not being qualified or trained. It was stressful, disorganized, and deeply upsetting to watch my daughter's graduation day being tainted by an experience that should have made her feel special and confident. I ended up in tears, leaving the salon completely heartbroken. Later, the owner responded and offered some hair products and gas money, which honestly made things feel worse. I didn't want freebies, I wanted my daughter to have the hair she envisioned for one of the most important days of her life. That opportunity was taken from her. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously, not just with apologies, but with changes to how situations like this are handled in the future. I was seen by Elsa, and she was and continues to be lovely. When I say, "just a slight trim" thats exactly what she does. She now cuts my son and daughters hair. We've even done a day of pampering for both of them. She even let my daughter wash my sons hair. This is a great, great salon.
