(not great, but it's fine). Unfortunately, the cut is terrible! Her hair is now uneven, actually, it's completely lopsided. She asked for half an inch off... and her hair is an easy bob style. Now one side is way longer than the other! The stylist is too junior to be cutting hair without supervision. And the price was way too much for an apprentice who wasn't up to the task. Today I called the salon to book an appointment for my daughter to have her hair blown out for her grade 8 graduation. They were fully booked so no appointment was available. However, the person I was speaking to added that they are no longer taking children as new clients. While I was taken aback by this remark I declined to be put on a cancellation list as I will no longer be going to this salon even for myself. Just a note to the salon a 14 year old is not a child so the comment was really quite ridiculous. As business I don't think it is a wise practice to turn away your future clients as children do grow up. I can tell you I have gone to reputable high end salons in the city and children are always welcome. Not impressed ladies.

She was incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable and welcome from the moment she introduced herself. I went in with dull, previously coloured hair and asked for a balayage. She got right into it. The entire time she was colouring she carried on a great conversation that made the time pass easily and comfortably. The outcome was fantastic and I was so surprised how light she was able to lift my hair without damaging it. It feels soft and light and I've received so many complements. The salon is a cute little space that is cozy and nicely decorated. Good atmosphere to wind down in and relax while getting pampered. No harsh lights, just nice soft lighting and comfy chairs! I'll be back for sure, I've FINALLY found someone I like.

I arrived to find that the owner who I had an appointment with was applying foils and consulting on how much hair the other client wanted trimmed. She told me 5 minutes as she mixed new product. In no way would it take 5 mins to even take out the foils and rinse, let alone cut and dry/style. She didn't explain that she was running late and abandoned me in the darkens waiting room. There were no jr stylists or students to even set me up. She called and left an aggressive and defensive vm. I called her back and she yelled loudly enough that my partner could hear her from four feet away. She said she was running behind and was rushing to finish. I have no interest in a rush job on my hair. She said she finished just as a left, but didn't call me until later. She wanted to put the other client on the phone to defend her. She was unprofessional in the extreme, and I dodged a huge bullet. I'm grateful this happened before I let her anywhere near me with scissors.

I had the worst experience when I booked a colour appointment for my upcoming wedding, the same…read moreweek. 1. I booked my appointment for 11:00. The hair dresser, Nikki, was 30 minutes late. 2. when I showed her my hair extension that I wanted to match, which was a shade lighter that what I had, she had the nerve to tell me that we didn't have enough time, scolded me for not coming in for a consultation first and was rude and cold the entire time. 3. As we were short on time, again, she was 30 minutes late, she suggested a few crown highlights and a root touch up. I knew the highlights would cost more than the straight colour I had initially intended to have done that day but I said yes and we moved on. 4. She asked me when was the last time I had dyed my hair, I said late May, it was the first week of July at the time, she refused to believe me. "May, you last dyed your hair in May??? Are you sure?? May?" Every time she asked, I said, yes, late May. Yes. Yes. Yes. Her line of questioning was said in a rude condescending way. She's now 30 minutes late for our appointment. its 20 minutes later and she still hasn't started on my hair. The whole time behaving as if this is the last thing she wants to do with her day. The lady beside me, who also had an 11am appointment, is having a lovely time with her colourist and her hair is almost done. At this point, I'm annoyed and want to leave but my wedding is in a few days and there simply is no time to book another appointment. I feel stuck but I accept that maybe this is just her personality. I just want my hair done so I can move on to the next item on my list of things to do for my wedding. 5. Once she finally started on my hair, her next appointment came in and she became a completely different person. Friendly, smiling, happy, talkative. She barely said a word to me. 6. As soon as she was able, she left me to go to her regular, and was lovely with her. I was ignored until it was time to wash the colour out. 7. She then puts me in a chair that feels like it's on it's last legs. I was so uncomfortable. My neck was so sore. It felt like I was there for a very long time. 8. Finally, we move downstairs to blow out my hair. She's finally a nicer person to me. I didn't get a cut that day as my wedding hair dresser said the extensions would look better on hair that's not freshly cut. 9. I go to pay and I'm charged over $400. I'm shocked. When I asked why, I was told that I had quite a few things done. Nikki never mentioned the cost to me when she suggested the highlights. I would've walked out if she told me I would be paying over $400 for this visit. I had a few crown highlights and a root touch up. No cut. I am floored. All I want to do at this point is leave and never look back. My experience there was horrible. Nikki was the worst. I will never ever ever go back.

Owner called my wife a 'bitch' when she complained about her hair treatment and asked her to leave…read more Her hair was half done so she stayed, even paid and left in tears. Standing outside in freezing weather, feeling threatened she called me. I went back in with my wife demanding an apology asking a simple question on how can you abuse a customer like that. The owner (brown bearded guy) simply lied. The guy at the counter in pink polo shirt said 'he didn't call your wife a bitch but said don't behave like a bitch'. I was aghast at this explanation. Not once did anyone try to talk it out rationally or exhibit a modest sense of customer service or basic human decency. When I demanded an apology I was almost shoved out. My wife who is one of the most soft spoken people I've ever met is still shaken, never having experienced such abhorrent behaviour in any or all the salons in different countries she has been to. Unfortunately, 911 or non-emergency Halton region hotline 311 doesn't help in cases of verbal abuse or professional misconduct. We will however try and find a channel to hold owners responsible for their actions if we can.
