They started the job, and gave us a low-ball estimate before they came out and then tripled the estimate and said that was a minimum. They refused to tell us what the cost was based on or any other information. They wanted us to sign a contract that gave them a blank check. When we refused and demanded more info, they pulled the equipment out. We finally got a bill after asking 3 more times over 5 days that was high even though the work wasn't finished or done properly. After this run around and being over charged by the competitor, some one recommended Accutech Restoration. What a blessing! Accutech took steps to properly and thoroughly dry out the carpet and floor underneath by lifting up the carpet in the whole area where the floor was wet/damp, instead of just a small corner like the prior company had done. They didn't use more equipment than necessary (so they didn't overcharge). They also checked on the job daily, removing equipment when possible to further minimize the cost. Every person we dealt with at Accutech was extremely diligent and professional: the owners, the managers, the office staff and the guys who came to the house just about every day to check on the job's progress. They were nice and caring and HONEST. Accutech also handled re-stretching, re-installing and cleaning the carpet. Finally, the carpet was dry and looked like new. And the price for everything was the same as the first company tried to charge us, even though they had not completed but about 1/3 of the job. Overall, we are very happy with the work, and the price from Accutech. We gladly recommend them for any water damage restoration and similar work.

After the work was semi completed, and pavers needed to dry, they left until two days later. When we woke up the following morning, we were astonished to see the pavers around the pool, which had turned white during the night. As we inspected the rest of the job we found pavers that were cracked and were sinking due to the number of power washings they did due to their mistakes. the color of the pavers had changed and there was now a whitish haze on our pavers and we were told that we cannot redue our pavers until all the defective sealer is gone, which could take up to one year, if not longer. To be very honest, this job looks like we hired several high school students to compete this job. The work was sloppy, unprofessional and with the added insult to have damage that will cost us out of our pocket to fix. Also, our main entrance front door was ruin and now has to be totally redone. Another expense that is directly related to Fleet Kleen and its staff. This company does not meet any standards for quality work and should not be contracted for any services related to maintenance. They sent out a Claim Adjuster who decided to hire Sleuth to find out where the water was coming from Sleuth sent Jason to my home and he used space-age detection equipment to try and find the leak. His equipment did determine there was water under my floor, but he couldn't trace where it was coming from. He ran two loads of the dishwasher, turned my AC to 70 degrees so it would work hard, and ran the kitchen faucet for 30 minutes. Further investigation turned up some dishwasher insulation with water stains, but it was dry so Jason could not confirm it was the cause of the leak. He did say that sometimes on older washers the Leakage from a bad seal can come and go. Even though his report was inconclusive, Jason did everything he could to pinpoint the leak short of tearing up the floor.
