She tried to say they offered "a discount" if the spouse was there. Sorry, that crap doesn't work on me. I was not born yesterday. 2) The acting job that the salesman did is pure comedy. Of course he knows the price he should quote. ... Starts off insanely high ... Customer says no, ... He asks how much you wanted to pay, pretends to calculate a discount on his phone, complete with facial expressions. ... Comes up with excuses for how he can discount. Want to keep the guys working, "end of winter" etc. ... Keeps coming down with various fake calculations/justifications. 3) I had a reason why I wanted an immediate install and signed the deal but carefully scrutinizing every line of the contract. Indeed the installer came out immediately. ok 4) The result looks very nice. Only complaint, the installer tried to be all done before cleaning up the huge mess on the porch and on the bottom of the gutters. However, he did it when I asked. When queried repeatedly, the response was that that's how it's supposed to work, in the winter, no water goes into the gutter. Rather makes the gutter less than useless. Icicles cause ice damming, forcing water to go up under the shingles. Certainly not how a gutter is meant to work. Avoid like the plague unless you want to pay to have your roof damaged.
