I Had a awful experience with this "friendly family run business" I Arranged with them to get a couch from down the road and deliver it to me and also take my old couch away for £40. I had my old couch waiting outside for them and I even said that they don't have to bring the new couch in, just to save them the job. The guys took the money and drove off leaving my old couches. So I immediately got back in touch with them. At first I was told that they're coming back within an hour or so. When that didn't happen it was the "skips are closed just leave them outside and don't worry about the rain, we'll still collect at 9am" Next day I messaged in the afternoon because they still didn't collect and they stopped responding altogether. I've been very polite throughout and emailed a few of them, sent a message via YELL, their website, email and Facebook and still nothing. It's been a week now my couch has been outside in the rain and they're just ignoring me. I Wouldn't mind but I was crying to this lady about how £40 is a lot of money for me, I struggle to make ends meet and I really can't afford to pay someone else to remove my old couches. But she reassured me that they would and I naively believed her. £40 to pickup from outside the other house, drive around the corner, then unload onto my path. I'm appalled and horrified that they've done this to be honest. I have toddlers and Christmas around the corner. Times are extremely hard for a lot of people now and everyone should be sticking together and helping each other. Not going around ripping poor people off from their own city. Disgusting behaviour from a company who call themselves "friendly and reliable". Nothing friendly about ripping someone off then ignoring their messages. AVOID read more
