How would you feel if your mom, family member or friend came into to a store and was treated like she was a problem and disregarded? Especially on Memorial Day weekend! You'd probably be livid. One thing I like about this location is the very good staff they have that works in the evening. On this evening on a Wednesday, I was in need of getting a passport photo. I hesitate to go to a busy store in the evening since people are often going to stores after work. I dread standing at a photo center counter waiting for a long time for someone to come grudgingly to help that annoying interruption called the photo customer. But this was the absolute opposite of my experience here. At this local Walgreens, the staff came quickly to the photo counter. They took the pictures, and went to work immediately processing them. Of course, I can get all my drug prescription needs and over the counter meds taken care of here too, along with the regular conveniences of such a store. But the highlight of such a place is the staff. They make all the difference. One of the failings of many stores is the poor training of staff that end up treating customers as though they are a bother or inconvenience. Not so here. Customer service is king, and it is nice to see a place that takes it seriously.

This may go on for a very long time. No greeting, no interaction, just pick the phone up and slam it back down on hold every time it rings. Store managers are aware of this, and they do nothing about it. I've asked many times for the store to stop refilling one of my prescriptions. Yet every 90 days, I get a message telling me its ready for pickup. If they can't address such simple things, how can you trust them with your health? You should avoid this store.

I don't know why it's called "corner store" on Yelp. Probably so people can't find it to review it. I have one experience here. I opened a coupon on my phone. I tried to use it. They would not let me use it. I told them it was from the Circle K app. They told me I still cannot use it. I asked why, as it made about as much sense as...a store telling you that you can't use their own coupons there (sorry, tried to think of something to compare it to...but honestly, there's nothing like it). They told me they have to see their address on the coupon. I said, "okay then, I can show you the part where I click on your address. The employee physically blocked my hand from pressing my phone's screen to activate the coupon and choose the store address. I asked them to reaffirm they do not accept their own coupons there. They obliged. Now, the part about her physically blocking me from my phone, I want to make clear; this was not my complaint. I'm not saying I was assaulted or whining about someone touching my phone. I only pointed it out for one reason: that confirmed to me that they do this crap all the time. How do I know this? Once you click on the address and activate the coupon, you have 5 minutes to use it or you lose it. The employee was clearly worried that I would click on the coupon and then get angry when I couldn't use it because she wouldn't let me.
