Dr. Gomes is very personable and will chat with you, explains everything he is doing, and is very gentle. You can tell he has decades of experience. One other "cool" thing is they take before and after pics and then show you on the monitor in front of the chair. I just had a routine exam and he showed me the before pic (ugh...disgusting) and then how my teeth looked after the cleaning. So, you can actually see and gain an understanding of what you are actually paying for. Plus, he showed me the cracks in one of my molars that does need repair. Again, even a layman can see cracks in teeth and, again, you actually see what needs to be fixed, why it needs to be fixed, and gain an overall better understanding of what you are paying for. And, his prices are extremely reasonable...even somewhat low. If you are looking for a dentist, I'd definitely check out his practice.

What that has to do with my cleaning is beyond me but I was not seen. Drove 25 minutes to get there and took time off from work for nothing. I did not reschedule and will find somewhere else to go. Mind you, they said they've been working on the system update since Friday so a courtesy call on Friday would've been good. I might have been more inclined to reschedule then if I knew I wouldn't have wasted time on Monday.

He's got an awesome porcelain tooth-maker that makes it in about 5 min (no 2 week wait with a temporary) & you can't even tell where the filling was or which tooth is a crown (unlike my other crowns that are obvious). I'm sure the in-house massage after helped too... it was the best yet and I can't wait till my cleaning next week since I booked another massage too.
