I feel that people aren't as much of people watchers in this gym and you don't get that overwhelming 'gym anxiety' like other gyms. Everyone seems to mind their own business and aren't busy hovering over machines, pressuring you to finish you your sets faster than you have planned for. The saunas are the biggest difference, I like enjoying the Edmond locations most, N.May and South OkC are so dim lit and cramped, creeky wood, old dial machines, doesn't really feel relaxing or give you enough space to stretch your arms or legs, Edmond's location also has a private tanning room and a kids play place, big wins with those but S. OkC does have a little 'shop' for all of your gym beverage and edible needs, so that's convenient.

When we signed up they waited till the end to say the only way to cancel is to come in and get a form and mail the form to their head office. I wouldn't have signed up if I had known I couldn't just cancel right there. They do it this way to make it difficult and to guarantee they get at-least 1 if not 2 more payments from you while waiting on snail mail and someone to open it and process it. Better to just block future transactions and stay away from gyms with shady practices like this! You should always be able to cancel in the same place you sign up!

You get what ya pay for and then some extra germs…read more The front desk team is typically kind and friendly, overall. The gym though; DIRTY and disgusting! My husband and I have been to and even worked at many gyms over our lifetime. But this place literally smells the second you open the door. We have seen ONE cleaning person work the place here and there. Not a team and not a duo or trio. The men's restroom was SO bad my husband (who grew up wrestling, football, gym guy) wouldn't even use the restroom. No TP or paper towels either. He kindly reported it to the front desk and was met with nervous laughter: "well the female restroom is good, I just checked it". What??? Sanitation AT A GYM is pretty important. And with all the Covid variants, ya might wanna hold fast on offering a clean establishment, let alone really clean. All of the front desk empress should be circulating with cleaning products and using them. Management: you should invest in a better circulation system. The temperature and stench in your gym is unreal. The back room was well over 80+ degrees when the mid day sun is beating inside the floor to ceiling g windows. It might be time for new floors and mats because that is where the smell and mold build up as well. We had family members move to the area and check out a few gyms, including this one. They had the same feedback! No way we're they going to join. It's a shame. The lay out and offerings are pretty great! We tried. We should have known better. Canceled after 7 weeks. Although PF doesn't offer the free weights and heavy lifting equipment desired, we will make it work at the clean establishment just down the street. All of the employees are circulating and cleaning, constantly.

I was looking…read morefor a situation where I could be in the gym solo, just me and a trainer, partially due to COVID concerns and partially because of my own insecurities around working out. I was so lucky to find this place so close to my house. They have a handy app I can use to book my sessions or change my times. Isaac is really great about encouraging me to push just a little bit harder than I would on my own, and I'm learning a lot about form and how to do different kinds of exercises. He is exactly the right speed for me in terms of his manner - I don't do well with drill sergeant types. I do best with someone like him who is positive, encouraging and warm. We talk a lot while we're working out and I always love chatting with him. He also always remembers to play my favorite music which is a very important part of any workout for me. They have a good amount of equipment. I like to warm up on the rowing machine since I don't have that option at home. Then we do a mix of weights, abs, cardio, push ups, etc. It's different every time - I don't think I've ever had the same program twice. It keeps it fun and interesting to not really know what each session will hold. If you've been thinking about training and this is convenient for you, I encourage you to take a look.

However, once that time was up and we moved, I decided to continue the drive from OKC to Edmond, as I felt my time spent in the gym there was worth my time and money. I really like the vibe in the gym, which is personal and welcoming. While Issac is my primary trainer, everyone else that works there calls you by name and is super friendly. Issac is impressively knowledgeable about fitness and body movement. He's been a tremendous help with creating accommodations for my physical limitations due to a prior knee replacement and new diagnosis of bulging discs. I've gotten much stronger and more flexible in the time I've worked with him. Check them out if you a looking for someone to motivate you and help you meet your fitness goals!
