While I was these, a client had her mask completely off for the whole time, and the stylist was not wearing her mask properly. Since, I am caring for a very health compromised 86 year old, I asked her to wear it correctly and she refused, claiming its uncomfortable (like it's comfortable for ANYONE!). This is also a very noisy salon because the owner and this same stylist do no know how to modulate their voices. I am sick of the screaming! My stylist did everything correctly and I feel sorry for her, having to work in this environment.

I immediately contacted Nicole to schedule a 6 month photo shoot at her in-home studio. First - she's AMAZING working with the babies and was really able to capture my son's personality. Second - her in-home studio is beautiful and packed with props, costumes, etc. You literally just need to show up with your child - she will provide all the rest! Third - Nicole is super friendly and easy to work with. We loved her so much that we booked our family session (outside, in the fall) with her and she captured some amazing shots of the fall colors. My boyfriend, myself and our three dogs did a family portrait session with Sonya yesterday. She…read morewas fantastic. We were a bit worried going into the session that our dogs would be completely impossible to work with. One is a puppy, who isn't quite potty trained, and we were worried that she would destroy Sonya's studio and bring us shame (and a huge bill) in the process. Fortunately none of our worst nightmare occurred. Sonya and her assistant worked superbly with the dogs. They let the dogs wander around the studio until they felt right at home. When the dogs jumped up, ruining the perfectly situated shot, Sonya didn't get frustrated. She simply helped us rearrange the whole gang and get the shot that we wanted. We haven't seen the proofs yet, but our session was such a great experience that I will be happy no matter what they look like (even though Im sure they will look great). I would recommend Sonya who has children or pets and wants great pictures AND a great experience.

I was a little nervous going in, but they made me feel completely comfortable and confident the entire time. The woman who did my hair and makeup was incredible--she truly worked magic and made me feel beautiful before I even stepped in front of the camera. The photographer was phenomenal. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but she guided me through every pose with patience and expertise. Her direction and encouragement made a huge difference, and it shows in the final photos--which turned out stunningly! This was such an empowering and fun experience. I'm masc and was really hesitant to do it because I didn't think they would portray my gender in a way I would be comfortable, and I was right, they did not. I was in the best shape of my life and wanted to see my abs and arms highlighted in the photos, and they were not. Everyone was very nice and professional, but the whole experience was very cookie cutter. I e seen other people's boudoir photos from here and it's the same makeup, sets, poses, etc. If you want the same typical soccer mom newborn/quince/wedding/ even boudoir photos everyone gets, sure, this place is great. But if you're weird and not trying to celebrate the typical things people get photos for, or you're trans or gender non-conforming, I would go somewhere else.

Smart Ink is on the second floor of a strip mall, and it could be hard to find if you are not looking for it. It is also a bit confusing since it's on the second floor, but the stairs are connected to the cemented wall underneath the second-floor dentist sign. The first thing I noticed when walking into the tattoo studio was how clean and bright it was. Everything is sanitary, and no matter which tattoo artist you see, everyone is nice and will greet you when they see you. There is also a nice artsy vibe to the studio; the walls are filled with handmade art, and every artist's tattoo area has its own personality and aesthetic shining through. I love that everyone can create their own creative area because it makes the studio feel much more inviting. Sometimes, tattoo studios feel very cookie-cutter and edgy, but this place is different in a good way. My husband and I both got tattoos from Jackie, and she did an amazing job. She met with us on the front couches to make sure her final sketches worked with us. I wanted to change a part of mine, and she made the changes on her iPad in front of me before printing it out. Then, she wanted to make sure the placement and size worked with me before we started. Yes, these are basic tattoo artist jobs, but you'd be surprised how many tattoo artists skip steps. I got my tattoos before my husband did, but she took her time on both of us. She was extremely professional and made the experience enjoyable by being personable and talkative. The tattoos look AMAZING and are exactly what we wanted. We gave her some artistic freedom with colors and/or designs, and she did not make us regret it. We will 100% be back at this tattoo studio, and we will be sticking with Jackie for all of our tattoo needs and wants =)

I was already approaching my third trimester, so time was limited. Thankfully, Sri responded quickly and guided me through the entire process. He explained what to bring, what to expect, and assured me that most of the wardrobe and accessories would be available at the studio.
