I called later and the person on the phone said he was suppose to be there and did not know why he never showed. So I made another appointment 10 am to 2 PM. This time he did show up, he said my heating element was bad but it would cost $350 to replace. I told him no thanks I can get a brand new one on black friday for $400 to $500. He told me the way they make dryers now it wont last long and it's going to break so it would be better if I just got the heating element replaced. I still said no, was charged $108 for the "service". And then it gets worse. I was using the dryer previously, even after the element went bad. Just air and tumble dry, no problem. After he "put it back together" it was extremely loud, and you could hear the drum was rubbing very hard on something. I called them to have him come back and fix the dryer that he made worse, made a appointment 10 am to 2 PM. And he never showed up again. I called later and the guy on the phone said he should have been there and had no idea why he didn't show again. I made another appointment 10 am to 12pm with a call 30 minutes before he comes. He calls at 12:21 to be there at 12:51. So I decided I will just fix this issue myself. I work night shift, I wake up at 1:30 pm to start at 3 pm so I kept waking up 3 and a half hours earlier then normal for no one to ever show and no reason why they didn't, twice, and to have it work even worse, and still to be charged $108. If you need a repair person please look up other options, they are very unreliable and I would never trust their work with how they left my machine. It turns out he just set the dryer element case back into drying and never screwed it on so the metal and wires were resting on the drum while it spun, sounds pretty dangerous and perhaps a fire hazard to me. The picture is showing how he left the element in the dryer. Also heating elements online are about $20 with a easy YouTube tutorial. Also if the company reads this, please have employees that go to the houses, shower before work.

During that…read morevisit, the technician showed me the failed part -- the main control panel -- and explained it would need to be replaced. After receiving their estimate, I was shocked. Appliance ER quoted me $1,935.02 to replace a part that I was able to purchase directly from Bertazzoni for $249.95. This is not a complicated repair. The control panel is a plug-and-play unit. The installation instructions are straightforward and publicly available: Turn off the breaker, unplug the unit, take a photo of the wiring, swap the panel, and reconnect. That's it. No sealed system work. No refrigerant. No special tools. No advanced labor. Yet the quote reflects nearly $1,700 in markup for a part swap that takes minutes. What's most concerning is that the technician physically showed me the panel during the diagnostic, so I was able to verify exactly what part was needed and how simple the replacement is. This felt far less like a repair estimate and far more like an attempt to take advantage of a homeowner who doesn't know they can order the part themselves. I understand companies need to make money. I do not understand a 7-8x markup on a plug-in component with minimal labor. If you use Appliance ER, make sure you price the part yourself before approving any work. It may save you thousands.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Just search "Mr Fridge…read morescam" on Google to see info about this shady company. I don't usually write reviews, but this experience was truly outrageous. My refrigerator was still functioning and only had a noise issue. During the first visit, they told me it was just a minor fan problem and said they would order a replacement fan. Three weeks later, this company came back and removed other critical parts from my refrigerator, leaving it completely non-functional. A few days after that, they sent me a quote for $1,300, claiming that four major components were broken and that I had to pay this amount for the fridge to work again. This made absolutely no sense. Just one month earlier, LG's official service had replaced the compressor with a brand-new one, yet their quote claimed that this new compressor was faulty. That was shocking to me. I honestly couldn't believe something like this could happen today, it felt less like a repair service and more like being taken advantage of. I then spent time reading this company's Yelp and Google reviews more carefully. The reviews are extremely polarized. Many of the 5-star reviews don't feel genuine at all, they don't read like they were written by real customers. On the other hand, the negative reviews feel much more detailed and believable. Based on my experience, I seriously question this company's practices. I strongly recommend that others avoid this company and proceed with extreme caution.
