This review's written more as a NTS for future ordering. Have only gotten delivery. Yeah it's just typical Chinese but I think for the consistent quality (esp considering delivery), and portions it merits 5 stars Fried Chicken Wings 4 piece plain - awesome! a favorite. the skin's crunchy and umami. probably from a curry powder. keeps well in the fridge and crisps again well when reheating in the oven The dumplings were surprisingly good, and I usually think random steamed dumplings are boring filler. I'd order this again! General Tso's Chicken is great, combo or "specialty" (alone over broccoli) The egg roll was blah My friend has had and enjoyed the hot and sour soup, beef with broccoli, and sweet and sour pork - which arrived in two containers. Small battered and fried pieces of pork - think smaller than chicken bites in one, and a container of IMO overly sweet sauce in another for dip. There's a Chinese food restaurant in front of my apartment but I'd still order from Randy's. The half fried is well seasoned

Moo shu pork was barely edible. When I unwrapped the "pancakes", they looked like square sheets of goop. Once I managed to separate them, they had cooled to a hard, inedible state. The pork was chewy and fibrous. I ate some of the vegetables and threw the rest out. Very disappointed. read more

Ordered General Tso's chicken combination plat and fried dumplings through seamless. Dumplings were very doughy and barely fried. The egg roll was so over cooked it was too tough to chew and inedible. The entree was the worst. I could not find any chicken within any of the breading of the General tso's and the pork fried rice tasted off, way off, as in fetid dank rice left out and reheated. Only a few bites before it all went into the trash. What a waste of twenty dollars. Just another rubbish restaurant in a rubbish neighborhood. read more

Best Chinese spot between freshpond and myrtle, delivery is so fast. Food is always great and full of flavor. I enjoy this place a lot.

I've ordered from here quite a few more times after my first review and the food is consistently good. I get general tso's bean curd instead of chicken now and it's delicious and the portion is great. They could afford to give a little more rice for a large portion of bean curd that they provide but luckily I always have rice in the house to cook so it's not TOO much of a problem. The delivery men are always polite and friendly and I will surely be ordering here again. read more

It's so sad that I have ordered from this place before and was happy. I guess it's basically like dating when you meet the person for the first time they send the representative there after you try and meet the person again and the real person comes to life. So this is what took place I ordered through GrubHub I specifically said to make the broccoli crunchy otherwise I will not be happy. I specifically said do not solve the broccoli. When I got the mail the broccoli was soggy it had very slight crunch. This clearly tells me that the broccoli was not fresh there is no way in the world you can short steam broccoli that is fresh and it not be crunchy. It means that the broccoli was possibly withering very stale or on his way out the door. When I ask GrubHub representative to take care of the matter he did. I was very happy with them refunding me. But very disappointed that Randy's Chinese restaurant made no attempt to bring me my order as it was ordered. They did not bother to offer a discount not a refund. It really is a shame because this company makes a ton of money from my company. The delivery guy has become our personal delivery guy. But that will change very soon once I am formed others how not attentive, unconcerned, and lack of wanting to make the customer happy service I have received. Sorry Randi had it been after being that my order was not as requested I surely would have given you another chance. I have spent over $200 with your restaurant within a two and a half year. I suggest that if you're going to do business with Randy and they give you broccoli that is not crunchy and you ask for crunchy broccoli I suggest you return it. We all have to make the statement together in order for them to understand we are paying customers and need to be respected as such. First time ordering. General Tso chicken combo with fried rice and egg roll. Plus an order of fried dumplings. Everything was fine to me so I must contest to the past negative reviews; it's possible this place responded by stepping up their game so maybe give it a second try. I only gave four stars because I only got one duck sauce and the egg roll was kinda dry. But the chicken was great and I reheated it later and it was still fine. 3.5 stars. We ordered delivery on a clear cold winter night and got the food in about 40 minutes. Ordered Kung pao chicken dinner and Singapore noodles. Our order was over $15 and we could get a soda/eggroll/wonton soup. Eggroll was okay. Noodles and chicken were yummy and came in good portions for 2 people with some leftovers. i love randy's :) their special family meal is so wonderful!!!!! it's huge and comes with tons of courses and i really like the cheese wontons and general tso's chicken. whenever i have people staying with me we always order a family meal or two from randy's and have enough to feed everyone with leftovers. always fast delivery and so cheap and so good read more

I am livid! The food has taken an hour and 25 minutes so far, and is still not here. Not the 30-45 minutes advertised. To make matters worse I was laughed at when I called to ask where it was. Absolutely unacceptable.... (The food eventually came after being 1h50mins late. Total Delivery time was 2h35mins. The food was inedible. So so gross that my cat would not even try the beef. I have a stomach ache now, even from the small amount I ate. They did give me a full refund, but they couldn't pay me to eat anymore. Awful.) read more

Got the requisite bi-monthly Chinese food craving today, and boy, did Randy's satisfy! As with most Chinese food restaurants, I employ a "take it slow" approach - I'm beyond wary of meat cooked at Chinese establishments. However, here's my veg review - I ordered steamed vegetable dumplings and vegetable lo mein. The quantities were huge, and my total including delivery was only $9. The veggie dumplings were spot-on and delicious! The flavors were great, everything tasted fresh and everything tasted very homemade. These are probably the best veggie dumplings I have had this year (granted, I've only tried maybe 5 new Chinese places this year). I'm going to be so stuffed from these awesome dumplings that I won't even be able to touch the lo mein, although I had to taste just a bite so that I could be your intrepid correspondent. Although a bit bland (it definitely required the use of the two soy sauce packets that accompanied it), and a bit lacking in interesting vegetables (mine was missing little corm on the cobs and mushrooms), definitely quite good tasting. I'm not going to complain since I am super broke and have since ordered not one but TWO days meals delivered to my apartment for under $10. Score. They have passed test 1. The next test, Test 2, will determine if their meat is cooked properly and tastes good. Here's to the success of Test 2! read more
