The other day, I ordered a Caesar salad that was drowning in finely grated Parmesan and cheap croutons. I should have sent it back. Overall disappointing. Our server was incredibly annoying. She asked us within 1 minute if we were ready to order. Then she came back every 30 seconds waiting for our order. The pizza was not hot and the pasta special was watery and poorly presented. Our server also returned to our table repeatedly and stood waiting to pick up our plates. "Can I take that????" "Still working on that????" Such tacky service. They should know better to wait until the entire table is finished eating! The owner is great! He was there and is always pleasant. But clearly need to train the staff and kitchen better. I hope they do well but given the current price point it will be a while before return. Oh... the ambiance is nice! Good outdoor seating.

It have me a chance to chat with the owner or mgr, not sure which, but either way, nice guy. They have a pizza joint next door that's open in the evening. I'm not really into biscuits so had a bacon, egg and cheese on potato bread. I was surprised that it was a half sandwich, but Bread Shop bread is so big I guess that's why. It was very tasty, although would have liked the bread a bit more toasted. They make their own pepper jelly on site so had that on the bread. It's not too spicy, but does have a bit of a zing. What I didn't use I brought home. If I'm in the area again I'd def give lunch a try.
