This place used to have a wonderful pizza buffet for lunch. It was great because you had a choice of many different flavors, dessert items, and a few other side items. I hadn't been here in over a year and visited again today. The price is still the same and you get one slice of pizza (mine was very doughy and unsatisfactory). Got the JV squad tonight. My dad got Jo-Jo fires subbed and they wound up on my mom's plate instead. She ordered a side salad which was forgotten. My pizza was undercooked and doughy though the sauce and flavor were good. They looked slammed with online and phone orders and maybe 3 people were working the kitchen so maybe their in-house guests slipped through the cracks a bit. Looks like they could use some more help. Just had the best pizza I have ever had in a long time. I am from California and we have all kinds of different pizzas from different companies but this is by far the best. The crust was light and fluffy, the ingredients were fresh and tasty and best of all the cheese was amazing! Also the delivery was fast and courteous. If I could give a 0 out of 5, I would. Very disappointed, calzone was burnt so bad, couldn't cut wit a steak knife, hamburger was cooked to medium. (Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a medium hamburger, if I ask for one). One waitress for the entire place, food took an hour and a half to be delivered for the three of us. When we complained about the food, we were told, that's how they always make them. (The Calzone) (We used to be more frequent before covid, so we know how they used to be cooked.) the poor waitress was running so much around, we (and many others) got up to get our own drinks from the soda machine. I had to get up to find silverware, napkins, and saucer pates for the breadsticks that was ordered. They definitely lost our business. read more

8 ladies went golfing in Tomahawk and had dinner at Bambino's. omg. the food was delishous. the lasagna was so good i bought 2 to take home to the UP of Michigan. The salad bar is good to excellent. The staff is great. The pizza has a delicious crust but the toppings/sauce/cheese combinations turn out tasting bland. Prices are fair which is why I am going with 4/5 instead of 3/5. The staff is excellent (the one waitress that helped us-Caitlin). Food came out quickly. read more

Very poor food and very bad employees I've been in many many many times trying to give them chances to redeem themselves but they just can't seem to do it or they don't care so I've given up hope use to be good food when I was a kid! Pizza is greasy and poorly made(took an hour 1/2 one time to get a 3 topping pizza) Chicken breast sandwich was black and bun was extremely soggy. Also ordered chicken Alfredo.... the sauce tasted like sour prego(yes I know the flavor sadly) when I addressed this to our absent waitress who I maybe saw twice in the 2 hours I was there. And took over an hour to get our food when there was only one other guest in the store and say no take outs come through we where basically told tough luck no one offered to fix anything new or even take the Alfredo off the bill which only gotten two bites taken from it! Really felt sorry for just the one gal in charge of running the front of the house during a busy Saturday evening service. She was in charge of waiting on all the tables, answering the phones and make sure takeout was going as planned. I understand the whole employment thing, hard to find help so maybe that was the issue. However, the food was not good at all, the bun on the Italian beef was burnt, the meat seemed like it was a couple days old and re-heated multiple times, dry and tasted like a salt bomb. The other dishes like the ordered spaghetti and appetizer were just, meh. It appeared that during our time there they had rushed and made incorrect food orders for other tables as well. Bump up from one to two stars is for the server, she's not getting paid enough for what she does. I really like local places to succeed but this place needs some help. read more

Been here several times recently. The salad bar has a really good selection and the homemade soups are fantastic, especially the chicken tortellini. Oddly enough this being an italian place the pizza and pasta dishes are just okay. Some of the sides on the buffet are good like the ribs and loaded baked potatoe cassarole. The fried walleye strips are another good menu choice. The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly, and staff is always great. read more

Ordered my food to pick up on my way into town after driving all day and got home and the order was someone else's. The manager said he could deliver my correct order to my house but would have to charge me to pay the driver. I wasn't happy about that and I decided to drive up there. They took the wrong pizzas and handed me my original order that was already sitting for over 30 minutes. The cheese was hard and it looked horrible. When I tried to explain my unhappiness to the manager he interrupted me and told me to hold on. I told him that he should have delivered them to me free of charge and they should have been fresh pizzas. He went on to tell me that people didn't show and things are crazy in the back like it was some kind of excuse and to top it all off a local patron had a worse attitude then him. Last year this was my go to place and would visit twice a week and the new manager and service was somewhere I will never spend a dollar again. BTW when we got home the food was terrible. Probably done on purpose...terrible. read more
