The store itself is cozy with just a couple small tables to sit at while you wait for your takeout. It is takeout only. With this cozy atmosphere also is the homely atmosphere provided by the staff. It was my first time stopping in and they ring a bell for all first timers. In terms of food, I ordered the chicken fried rice, chicken egg roll, and crab cake egg roll (special). They give you yum yum sauce and ginger sauce with the meal. They also recommend that you combine the sauces to create a "magic" sauce. Let's dive in to the food. The egg rolls were divine. I probably could have eaten 5 or 6. They are bigger than average egg rolls and hand rolled in the shop. When I go back I think I'll just get a few of these. The chicken fried rice was good. The chicken was fresh and had a good flavor too it. The rice was also good especially when you drizzle the sauce into it. It is a deceptive amount of rice. While they say it's just for one, I could have easily shared it with someone. I am overjoyed that this place has opened in Williamsburg. Being here for a while, it gets hard finding new places. It's also always great to know that you are supporting a local business!
