It was my first time stopping in and they ring a bell for all first timers. In terms of food, I ordered the chicken fried rice, chicken egg roll, and crab cake egg roll (special). They give you yum yum sauce and ginger sauce with the meal. They also recommend that you combine the sauces to create a "magic" sauce. Let's dive in to the food. The egg rolls were divine. I probably could have eaten 5 or 6. They are bigger than average egg rolls and hand rolled in the shop. When I go back I think I'll just get a few of these. The chicken fried rice was good. The chicken was fresh and had a good flavor too it. The rice was also good especially when you drizzle the sauce into it. It is a deceptive amount of rice. While they say it's just for one, I could have easily shared it with someone. I am overjoyed that this place has opened in Williamsburg. Being here for a while, it gets hard finding new places. It's also always great to know that you are supporting a local business!

Everything was cooked perfectly. I still reminisce about our cheese burgers. The service was outstanding, and the food tasted remarkably fresh and clean. The tomatoes were perfectly ripe; the sauces could be bottled and eaten alone. Everyone was so polite and efficient the customer service was exceptional even though they were having technical difficulties everything seemed to run smoothly. Given there are no restaurants in the Peninsula where lobster rolls are made, this one has been a welcome edition to the area. For Newport News Restaurant Week, Sophia and I headed here to check them out. Let's see if the hype was worth it. We drove to the food truck which was not far from where we live. They had a few people who were in line or waited in their cars for orders. Both of us got there and paid for our orders. It took nearly 30 minutes for both to be ready but it went by quick. Everyone was very busy taking orders, prepping food and cooking. Truly a well-oiled machine. After they were done, we both went home and enjoyed a nice meal. For my order, I selected a medium size lobster mac and cheese. Very good stuff. The plate was full of lobster that was well seasoned. I appreciate it when you have protein that's of equal amount as pasta, which was well done and full of enough cream sauce. Sophia had a large Connecticut lobster roll and fries which she enjoyed. My water glass had lipstick stains around the rim, which was pretty off-putting. My father ordered a beer that didn't arrive until after our food, and by then we had honestly forgotten he had ordered it. We also weren't given appetizer plates before our appetizer was brought out. We ended up getting up and finding plates ourselves. The food was fine, but nothing memorable. Considering the prices, I expected much better quality. It honestly wasn't any better than what you'd get at a casual fish and chips restaurant.
