My cousin and I had passed this place everyday and talked about eating here when we had a chance…read more Luckily today, we had just gotten off work just in time to hit the spot before they closed. We were both excited to try it as we had seen their advertisement's around and couldn't wait. We tried placing an order around 7:30pm for street tacos and were rudely countered and cutoff with the older lady shaking her head saying that we were "4 hours late" to get steak on them. I get it, we were a little late so I understood where she was coming from, but at the same time she acted as if we had been a nuisance. I didn't mind it much because I was still really excited to try the tacos. After that, we had asked to remove some items like guac and onions, but she said they do not do that there. Throughout their menu I had not seen anything that said that. The whole interaction was rude and very unprofessional. It made us really uncomfortable and awkward. We decided to not get anything after looking at different options. It was really a bummer too because we had weeks of built up excitement. I like to think this was a one time occurrence and maybe the lady was having personal things going on. I hope their business thrives, but I will not be back and would not recommend anyone else to. Give your money to a local authentic Hispanic restaurant who will value your presence.

Zero Stars for their poor management. I have two reviews to share. One that's from my friend Hannah…read moreand then other is my experience. Hannahs review- (that got deleted from their Facebook reviews) I was really disappointed with my experience at Bestcoast Tacos on Monday at the 10-8 Cafe. We arrived at 5pm and ordered by 5:15pm. I have gastroparesis, so smaller portions are often the only thing I can comfortably eat without throwing up which is why I asked to order from the kids menu. My friend has celiac disease, so she didn't not order anything due to our legitimate dietary restrictions. Instead of being met with understanding, we felt ignored and dismissed. We were not aware of the "rules" that were set in place. Everyone else at the table received their food, and only then was I told that I couldn't have the kids meal I originally ordered. No one communicated this earlier, which left me sitting there without food while everyone else was eating. My friend who is 8 months pregnant sent back the chorizo TJ Style Tacos due to it being too spicy to eat. What happened next was made it even worse, the manager coming out to speak with us. Rather than helping resolve the issue, the interaction made us feel uncomfortable and minimized, as if our concerns and medical needs were not being taken seriously. To top it off, this was my friend's birthday, which made the whole situation even more disappointing. What should have been a nice meal turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable experience. I really hope they work on communication, empathy, and accommodating to customers with medical dietary needs and life long diagnoses. My review/experience- I was part of this group, and I wanted to share my experience as well. I have celiac disease, which means I have to be extremely careful about what I eat. Because of that, I chose not to order food and instead planned to just sit with my friends while they ate. What made the situation really uncomfortable for me was the interaction with the owner/manager. At one point, a comment was made along the lines of "don't come to a restaurant if you can't eat at the table." That comment was honestly embarrassing and upsetting. Living with a medical condition like Celiac disease already makes dining out challenging, and hearing something like that made me feel singled out and unwelcome. On top of that, our table was overcharged, and we had to speak up and advocate for ourselves just to get the bill corrected. That added another layer of frustration to an already uncomfortable experience. This wasn't just about food -- it was about how we were treated. It felt like there was a lack of understanding and empathy for people with legitimate medical dietary needs. I understand that restaurants have policies, but communication and kindness go a long way. I called ahead and they said that it was OK for me to come in and not eat and I also showed the first waitress my medical card and say I had disease that is was totally fine. She was a great server and the other staff members were not so kind. No one should feel uncomfortable, bullied or judged for something they can't control as celiac disease is an autoimmune disease should be taken seriously. I hope this is something that can be taken into consideration moving forward so others don't have a similar experience
