I love their machine weights and the free weights too!! I like the indoor track better than the treadmills. but, I still like the treadmills, but I prefer the track. I love their men's locker room!! it's a clean place to take a nice clean shower and soap up!! I also like their hot tub or spa!! there's plenty of lockers for people using the facility. during the summer, it's the best place to go swimming on a hot summer day for free as long as you are a member of the YMCA!! I also like the indoor pool at the Knowles YMCA because you can swim there all year round practically!! the staff are very honest and courteous!! the YMCA over close to Hy-Vee or the capital mall is a good one too and is the newest one, but it does not have any kind of swimming pool or track. but, it does have lots of machine and free weights, treadmills, exercise bikes, etc. as long as you have a YMCA membership for Jeffferson City, Missouri, then you can use any of the 3 YMCA facilities as long as they are open!! nobody's perfect okay. but, when you go to any YMCA or any gym please use some common sense and don't say anything slang or violent or talk about any kind of negativity or violence because eventually you will lose your memership!! Besides, I'm a 'true Christian myself!!', and it's something you just don't do!! I like to be kind and courteous and 'true Christian-like' at all times when going anywhere especially the YMCA!! I enjoy going to church, but the Firley YMCA is my favorite place to get a great workout in Jefferson City, Missouri and it will always be #1 in my book!!

I'm glad I walked in and checked it out. the staff was friendly. I love that they had a WIDE variety of equipment for old school body building! Hammer strength machines!!! Next day, Lawson researched & immediately discovered issue & helped me resolve on my iPhone. Lawson then gave me a tour of entire facility, explaining each section, brief description of how to operate various machines (I was in street shoes) and said he or any PF Staff would be glad to assist me any time. Facility was not crowded either day I've been (between 8:30 & 10) and everyone did a great job of wiping down equipment afterwards. Looking forward to working off Covid-related flab & think this facility will be key in that endeavor.

Staff is friendly when they actually decide to look up from their phones every once in a while. Im still undecided if I'll be renewing next year or not
