Firstly, the counter girl in here was extremely attractive, and was also incredibly friendly and very interested and excited to ask what I was doing here and where I had come from. I don't think I encountered too many girls this friendly at tanning salons, there have been a few, but this one is right up there at the top of the list. The tan itself was great and worked perfectly - and they even gave me extra time. The beds were lovely, and the whole place was palatial. They were explaining why it was like a palace - because Palm Beach Tan took over a very nice salon, rather than one of the iffy ones that need renovation. It was not only the best one I used in the Deep South, but it might be the best one I've ever used in the whole country alongside the one in the north burbs of Dallas near the corporate HQ. And if I get banned for taking selfies in the beds, it's a Palm Beach Ban.

The salon is located in the busiest shopping center in Greensboro and not to mention it's peak tanning season. From what I've seen the staff works quickly to clean beds and get everyone checked-in. Also, yes the staff will try to sell you the bigger more expensive packages and their array of products. Just go in knowing exactly what you want and stick to it. Some of the things they try to sell you really are necessary while others are not. For instance, I bought the Instant bed package that comes with unlimited sunless tanning. Of course I bought a nice tanning lotion but when they told me I needed a lotion for sunless too I was like no thanks. Then one of my friends told me the sunless lasted a lot longer and went on more evenly with a specialized sunless lotion. So the next time I did sunless I bought a sample and she was right!

Halya listened and asked questions along the way, being certain she was doing what I was looking for. I have medium length hair and with my hair type, it can be hard to style as I like. Keeping this in mind, Halya makes suggestions and isn't afraid to counter my opinion to achieve the desired results. I went back for a second hair cut last week, which solidified my thoughts of my first experience. Due to Halya's attention to detail and desire to get it right (and ability to accomplish that result), I will keep going back for her service.
