Each time I ate across the street at Lincoln Cafe and each time I had the Country Breakfast. Each time was closer to noon but the serve Breakfast all day. Place was very busy, but service was great and efficient, and they kept the restaurant moving. A County Breakfast or at least for me was 2 eggs, Pork Chop, they have other options as well), Hashbrown and Biscuit. Ordered Black Coffee and it was nice and fresh and no hint of being burned. A bit out of the way but still only like a mile from the Court House Square. Next time I'm going to explore the menu more and try some other items. I normally wait for a period of time to let them work the kinks out of a new start up. I was in Lincolnton today for lunch and figured I'd go ahead and give them a try. When I worked full time in Statesville, the Burger King on East Broad Street was one of my more frequent stops for lunch. Biggest problem here was a very slow drive through. My order was normally a Double Whopper with Cheese, Fries and a large Unsweetened Tea. Cutting back on calories I have however eliminate the Fries from the order. Today's order was the same Double Whopped with Cheese and large Unsweetened Tea. They were not as crowded as the Burger King in Statesville so I got my order in a more realistic time. The Burger was outstanding. All of the ingredients were fresh, the meat was properly cooked and still moist and not dry. All in all, a very good dining experience and I will be back.
