Very nice reception staff and dental team. I called ahead to verify I was in network, then made an…read moreappointment. After waiting for a while, then going to an actual exam room. I waited again only to be informed I was not in network. The young lady apologized and said she didnt realize that. It was not something that could be fixed that day. I left, after spending an hour there, to go home and call insurance as I still needed a cleaning. This location is conveniently located for me, and I would return if my insurance changes. Word to the Wise: Call Insurance First for most updated info.

To be fair, I've never had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Johnson. However their intake process is a…read morebit suspicious and unprofessional. I was already skeptical bc I am afraid of the dentist. I had been going to the same dentist for years but my insurance changed and the out of pocket expenses were ridiculous. So yeah, needed to find someone else. A few months ago, after several attempts to schedule an appointment with Dr. Johnsons office, via phone, I sent an email stating that I was a potential new patient trying to schedule but the phone number isn't working. Whoever replied stated that they were in the process of getting a new provider and the phones were down. Okay no problem. No fault of their own, my insurance is garbage and I needed to wait a few months before I could be seen. The time is now. I call to schedule and guess what...the phone still isn't working. I find it rather unprofessional that a professional workspace doesn't have a person who you can speak to especially as a new patient. I decided to email them and they respond with an appt date and a few follow up questions, no problem. However the next email stated that they need my social security number to access my insurance benefits. Excuse me? I replied back stating I was uncomfortable giving my social and was there any other way they can access the information. They replied back with you can contact the insurance company and get the benefit information. I will cancel the appointments, thanks. So because I refused to email my social security number, via email, to a person claiming to represent a dentist off that 1. I've never been to, 2. Never spoke to a human, you cancel the appointment? I have never been asked by a dentist office or any other practitioners office for my social security number over the phone and definitely not via email. Thankfully I was referred to another dentist office and was greeted with a human voice. They asked for my insurance information and employer. Simple. This exchange was very unprofessional and suspicious. I hope the Dr is well and that her office hasn't been hacked because its giving scam.
