Supremely helpful, knowledgeable, and direct communication from Chad Tangler regarding traffic…read moreviolations from the past. I must say, the courtesy and professionalism was evident from the beginning of our meeting, and Mr. Tangler was both punctual and explanatory with the Justice system and my options. I felt like The Advocates cared, despite just meeting us, and wanted to make the system work for us as smoothly and advantageously as possible. If you need a criminal defense or personal injury professional, don't fall for the billboards and sound bites of other attorneys out there. Call Mr. Tangler and The Advocates--I did and couldn't be happier.

I had to reach out nearly every time. Weeks. 2) They didn't seem motivated to push the claim forward just sitting on their hands. 3) They told me the eye witnesses at the opposite side of the road who saw the accident didn't strengthen my claim or the fact I have a herniated disk in my neck didn't do much either. 4) I felt I was given a patronizing attitude before agreeing to settle after a year from the time the accident happened. Nearly running into the deadline concerning statute of limitations. I don't know who was being represented but it didn't seem like it was for me. I have a friend with a law degree tell me I could have done better myself.

I highly recommend Zachariah Becerra and Nelson Jones Law. Zach was thorough, professional, and…read moregenuinely focused on getting me the best possible outcome. I was originally facing two Class B misdemeanor charges. Zach was able to get both charges dropped and negotiated a plea in abeyance on a Class C misdemeanor criminal mischief charge with one year of probation to the court. Just as important to me, Zach worked toward an outcome that allowed me to maintain my Second Amendment rights. He explained everything clearly, answered my questions, and made sure I understood every option before moving forward. Zach did a fantastic job, and I could not be more pleased with the result. If you need an attorney who is prepared, knowledgeable, and truly works for his client, I would absolutely recommend Zachariah Becerra and Nelson Jones Law.

1 Star -- I Regret Ever Hiring This Firm…read more Hiring Jeff Christian (JC) Jensen at Nelson Jones was one of the worst decisions I've ever made in my life. Im an Army veteran and Police Officer and I hired an attorney to protect me, not create problems that would cost me thousands of dollars to fix. Opposing counsel submitted a proposed court order containing findings and statements the court never actually made. I raised objections, but Jensen approved it anyway, without my permission or even telling me. He gave me a deadline to submit corrections, which I met, but conveniently never mentioned that he'd already signed off on the order. When I questioned him, he admitted in an email that he had simply assumed opposing counsel prepared the order correctly. Then he turned around, doubled down, and started insisting the order was accurate. I asked him what could be done to fix it, he refused to answer. Then, when I started filing things myself to fix the mess he created, he rage quit and withdrew from my case. I had JUST replenished my retainer. Jensen did less than two hours of additional work before withdrawing, and the firm held onto my unused money for MONTHS despite repeated requests to return it. He kept emailing back saying they weren't withholding it while at the same time withholding it. So not only did Jeffrey Christian Jensen create the problem and abandon me with it, his firm was holding onto the money I needed to hire another attorney to fix it! I finally got my money back only after the Utah Office of Professional Conduct got involved. With no attorney, I had to file motions myself to correct the inaccurate order. And guess what? THE COURT AGREED WITH ME AND ORDERED THE CORRECTIONS HE SAID WERE CORRECT WHEN THEY WEREN'T. But because Jensen had already approved the inaccurate order, the court held me responsible for his actions even after they changed the order. I ended up being ordered to pay thousands of dollars in the other side's attorney fees for responding to my motions. I also had issues with being charged more than the hourly rate. He tried to sneak in and charge me over $120 an hr more than he was previously and a much higher amount than the one the contract said. Think about that. I paid Jeffrey Christian Jensen who approved an inaccurate order, refused to fix it, rage quit and withdrew when I tried to fix it myself, and then held onto the money I needed to hire someone else. And I ended up paying thousands of dollars because of it. Mistakes happen. But refusing to take responsibility, leaving your client to clean up the mess, and holding onto their money while they're trying to find another attorney? That's a whole different level. Honor and Integrity mean a lot to me and Mr. Jensen and Nelson Jones are without honor or integrity. I wouldn't recommend Nelson Jones to anyone.
