I was having issues with a work-related item, and she went above and beyond to assist me. Even offering up her own laptop to help me out. Make sure you avoid their office workspace, since nothing there works. The staff have known about the lack of working computers and printers and have done nothing to fix it in the last six months. The computers are antiques and they know that, but yet do nothing to rectify the issue. Considering there are alot of persons staying here, they need this service. Just be aware that there is no food or bar at this hotel, and the town has very few choices for meals (Pizza Hut and a McDs ) The room was clean but out dated.

I could not even breathe in the rooms, It was so strong. I tried to stick it out for about five hours, she offered to give me a refund but then changed her mind and charged me $77, and then someone booked the room directly after that so she made $77 for nothing . She refused to give me a refund even after I explained to her I was highly allergic to this stuff. I ran my fan at the door for almost 2 hours and could not get the smell out. So now I'm the one that has to suffer and lose money, terrible service. My local company has hundreds of guys here and I was going to recommend them, not anymore!! Even after I checked into another hotel, literally every single thing I have smells like that horrible glade plug-in, I have had a headache, and my sinuses are horrible now.

I'd like to offer a bit of advice as far as the air con. Wonder why older women are bitchy on business trips and vacations? It kicks off for 20 or 30 mins and I wake up hot and sweaty waiting for the dang thing to kick back on. Repeat this 30 times and you have an agitated, sleep-starved woman. Can IHG not recognize that if they'd allow even just a constant fan, we'd still get air circulation and white noise and probably only need the ac at 71 or 72 and get much better sleep? I am not from the area, nor am comfortable just going into a random store to ask for quarters. I just drove 1200 miles. The 100% satisfaction guarantee doesn't apply to even simple change. To top it off, my door latch has issues; to the point of working about 1 in 10 attempts. Key card works, but the latch isn't catching to open the door. So now, my clothes are in a washer that I can't use whilst i wait for Maintenance that is not located on site. Understandable, since it's 550pm, but I cannot get into my room. Room isn't fixed; I have to lift the latch a certain way til check-out. As for the quarters, the local gas station said no and that this isn't the first time someone from the hotels have asked. So here I am, a POC in a rural town, driving around, not from here, after a 1200 mile journey, looking for quarters. Hampton, live up to the satisfaction guarantee so a Gold HH guest doesn't have to feel so uncomfortable. Ill be traveling around 60 nights next year, so lets hope the Hampton brand (which is most common in areas I travel through) has more prepared locations. Ill be back thru town in 2 weeks. No sleep there. Upstairs Godzilla rented a room and was up at 5 am. No sleep there. Breakfast, no bacon, no eggs, just sausage and take your own waffles. Bad coffee. When I mentioned the noise to the front desk, the girl said, "Awwww".
