She was great to work with from first contact, to picking up our baby and after! The dogs are beautiful, genius level, and have fantastic energy and drive! My dog is equally happy being a loving pet on days I'm busy or tired, or working for me however I ask on other days! Right now we're working on a dance routine to a lovely Indy artists song. She's coming up with as many dance moves as I am. Literally the best dog I know, and I work with dogs so I know a lot!

We got one of these beauties.

Evon is amazing. I searched for a reputable breeder that was reasonably priced and that cares for her dogs. We found all of that and much more in Evon's Border Collies. Evon kept us informed throughout the process and was available and willing to answer all of our questions. She even allowed us to visit before our puppy was born which gave us confidence that she was legit. Delivery was smooth and without any issue. Our puppy is home now and she is perfect. THANK YOU EVON! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Last weekend, we brought home our second puppy from Ranchoevon. Yvonne was incredibly supportive and communicative throughout the entire process, even holding on to our second puppy Lulu until we were able to pick her up several weeks after bringing our first puppy home. Both Rusty and Lulu are energetic and friendly puppies thanks to the wonderful care they received at Ranchoevon!

Our puppy was as healthy as can be from the first day we picked him up! We were lucky enough to reserve him the first day he was born in October, and have been blessed ever since. The herding instinct on this dog is off the charts. Always ready to play ball, herd, and go for a ride in the car!

Our little puppy Beau has been a great addition to dog family. He is the cutest, little feisty thing. I'm glad we got the opportunity to meet Yvonne and bring him home from Ranchoevon. If you need a place to get a Border Collie this is the place to go.

Rusty the border collie pup turning on his charm.

My girlfriend and I were able to get in contact with Yvonne before the birth of the litter we would eventually purchase our pup from. Even before the birth of the litter, Yvonne was extremely helpful with answering any and all questions that we had as first time border collie owners. When the litter was finally born, Yvonne would keep us up to date by sending pictures and videos as the pups developed. It is very easy to see the amount of care and expertise Yvonne brings to her work, and we are very grateful for it. Rusty is the dog of our dreams, and, while no issues have come up with our little companion, we remain very comfortable reaching out to Yvonne for advice on topics ranging from crating to dietary needs. Raising a puppy is hard work, but the right support system makes all the difference. Yvonne provided us with the puppy and support to turn a challenging task into a very rewarding one.

Our beautiful Riley Jo loves her new home...we love her too

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE…read more Update: After posting review below, I received an extremely hostile iMessage from the owner. She called me "disgusting," accused me of thinking she was "forging health records" because I asked for verifiable OFA numbers, and added an implied threat: "You're lucky my husband was not there." All Messages saved. --- Original Review: I contacted Oak Glen Kennels (Yucaipa, CA) about a German Shepherd puppy. My plan was simple: visit first, review the paperwork in person, think it over that night, and if everything checked out, come back the next morning and buy the puppy. I wasn't shopping for entertainment -- I was ready to purchase. Before driving 2.5 hours, I asked for basic proof (OFA hip/elbow results and the written health guarantee). She refused to share documentation by text and told me that in "29 years" she's rarely had anyone "demanding documents" and would only show them in person. At the visit, she pressured me to commit immediately and said, "Who drives 2 1/2 hours just to look at a puppy?" When I insisted on normal due diligence, she got hostile and later texted, "You're calling me a lier like I'm faking paperwork. Good luck!!" If this were a one-time transaction, I might have still taken the puppy. But if anything went wrong, I'd potentially have to deal with this breeder again -- and based on how she handled basic questions, I walked away. Beautiful puppy. Completely unprofessional, high-pressure behavior. If you want transparency and a normal buying process, avoid.

If you're considering getting a Pomeranian from Mathews Bitsy Pomeranians, run by Jacqueline…read moreMathews, please read this carefully--and take the time to filter Yelp by the lowest-rated and filtered reviews. That's where the real, unfiltered experiences live. Mine is now among them. Just two weeks ago, my beautiful Pomeranian passed away suddenly at only 5 1/2 years old. She went into cardiac arrest during a routine vet visit. There were no signs beforehand--just a healthy-appearing, playful pup who was suddenly gone. The vet techs tried everything, but they couldn't bring her back. We had a full autopsy done--my vet kindly paid for it because we were all so shocked. The results showed a rare heart condition (Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) ) thickening of the heart tissues usually found in cats, one that's nearly impossible to detect until it's too late. She also had tracheal issues, which I've since learned are common in poorly bred Pomeranians. You cannot outrun genetics, no matter how much you love your dog or how good your vet is. This is a condition inherited. When I first met Jacqueline, I had an uneasy feeling. I asked for health documentation, and she dismissed me, saying: "Why would you need that? They're healthy." I asked to see the puppy's parents and was told, "Why do you need to see them? You don't always look like your parents." When I heard loud barking from what seemed to be her garage, I asked if there were dogs back there. She denied it and said she didn't hear any barking at all. Eventually, she brought out the mother, but only at a distance--it felt staged and uncomfortable. Her answers were vague and evasive. She couldn't tell me exactly how many dogs she had, only that some were at her girlfriend's house, some here, and others "somewhere else." It felt like she was hiding something. It felt like a backyard breeding operation. After I bought my dog, Jacqueline continued texting me pictures of other puppies she had for sale, asking if I or anyone I knew wanted to buy one. She always seemed to have a steady stream of Pomeranian puppies available, which raised even more red flags. Where were all these puppies coming from? How many dogs is she really breeding--and in what conditions? Despite my gut feeling, I had already fallen in love with my pup. I waited a month to bring her home. During that time, I started having nightmares, and eventually found the filtered reviews here on Yelp. I confronted Jacqueline about them, but she insisted they were written by "competitors trying to sabotage her business." I wanted to believe her, but I no longer can. Too many stories, too many patterns. And now, I'm living one of them. Please--if you're looking for a dog, adopt. There are so many animals who need loving homes. But if you absolutely must get a purebred, find a breeder with merit and ethics--one who breeds to show, not just to sell. Look for breeders who health test, who can provide transparent records, and who genuinely care about the dogs' well-being--not profit. Just because a dog is AKC registered does not mean it's been genetically tested, responsibly bred, or isn't the product of inbreeding. Don't be fooled by registration alone. I adored my Pomeranian with all my heart. She brought me so much joy, and her loss is unbearable. I will never support Jacqueline Mathews or Mathews Bitsy Pomeranians again, and I hope that by sharing this, I can help others avoid the same heartbreak.

We scheduled an appointment to see some available puppies she had online that weekend. At the appointment, she brought out three different schnoodles we were interested in. The one we ended up choosing was Snowflake. She was a 13 week schnoodle. At first when Ashlee brought Snowflake out, she was very shy and timid. But that's to be expected from meeting new people for the very first time. Slowly Snowflake opened up and she was so sweet. We ended up buying her that weekend, but we were not prepared at home for Snowflake. Ashlee offered to keep Snowflake for a week so we could buy all the necessary things for her! So kind of Ashlee to offer. We came back the following weekend and picked up Snowflake. Ashlee was very knowledgeable and informative of all our questions. She also mentioned that their team is available to us for the lifetime of the dog! They also provided a very detailed handbook for us to review, and it was so helpful. When we brought Snowflake home, she was shy and scared but that's because it was an unfamiliar place. Snowflake was already litter box trained and did so well at that at home too. She eventually started to open up. Snowflake is now 16 weeks and is the sweetest little girl. She learns so quick! Ashlee also mentioned her dogs are very aware of the word "no." Snowflake picked up a lot of things very fast and is very into words of affirmation. We also just had her 16 weeks vet check up and Snowflake is a healthy puppy. We couldn't have asked for more. Ashlee and her team are always available. Whenever I had a question, she would respond within minutes. I felt very secure knowing we had a puppy from someone who has been in the breeding business for a long time. I would definitely recommend Domino Schnoodles to anyone looking for a hypoallergenic dog!

I am so excited to finally write this review after a full year with our big guy. We are…read moretraditionally dog people but are getting older and no longer have older kids at home to help with large pets but we were very attracted to the idea of a Bengal because of their higher than usual energy. We were hoping for a good middle-ground between running dogs every day for two decades and a fat house cat and we really feel like we got exactly what we were dreaming of and so much more. Her kittens were impeccable and we can't even believe how lucky we got with our male. He was instantly affectionate and loving towards us. My husband was very wary of cats and believed all of them were skittish and stand-offish. I had a childhood cat and remembered them being easy to own. I convinced him to let me get this kitten after our last dog passed because he was so gorgeous and as masculine as a sweet kitty could possibly look. We were so impressed with Dad when we met him in person and our little guy ended up looking just as handsome now that he's almost fully grown. Even other bengal owners are always blown away by his unusual coloring and shine. This is a cat even my husband is so proud to own after years of telling me cats were for women. Lol They are best buddies and sometimes I feel like I bought my own dream cat but my husband was the one who ended up with the best friend. He has zero negative health issues and has only needed to see the vet for regular vaccinations and altering. We have so much comfort in knowing that he has only eaten human grade food as we have continued the breeder's extraordinary meal plan. We have been a lifelong long kibble and canned food combo users and we had absolutely no idea how low the quality of food that is allowed to be given as animal grade even in the most expensive pet food. Our aunt just lost her sweet male cat to a urinary blockage and we had no idea how common they are in cats fed commercial foods. We take him everywhere with us and he is a huge comfort to me because of my anxiety. Everybody wants to interact with him and love on him and he really takes a lot of pressure off situations for me. I have never known a cat to be so willing to greet a large groups of people and people can't believe how calm he is. We did take the breeders advice and alter him before sexual maturity. He has never even once had an accident outside the litter box or on grass at home or in public. After decades of puppies I was ready for months of potty training. I had no idea how incredible a well raised kitten is at using the litter box exclusively. It was an absolute dream transition bringing him into our home. He has changed my life. We have not gotten a second bengal only because we love so much that we are able to travel with him and worry that flights, imposing on friends when we stay, etc would be too difficult with more than him but I am so tempted every time I see your posts of new litters. We have been life long animal adores but we never knew we could experience a bond with an animal like this. Thank you so much and to anyone considering a kitten--I couldn't imagine a better one in the entire world than the one I adopted from them.
