I can genuinely say I was so impressed by the technology they use here. So it gets worse I get a notice from my insurance provider that services for check up and cleaning and x-rays the office chose to do weren't covered because they're not in my network. Before my visit I gave the office my insurance info to verify they were a provider and all basic comprehensive services were covered 100% . Unbelievable now I'm taking my time to file an appeal. If I receive a bill I will not be paying very unprofessional. I'm glad I didn't get the additional deep cleaning they recommended. read more

I came to this office with a bad infected abscess that was not treated. They extracted my tooth and performed a graft but neglected to clean the abscess which in turn became larger resulting in the abscess infection going up further to my gum. I was not prescribed antibiotics or pain meds. Yet my gum was still very tender. I then went to see a specialist & for a second opinion and that is when I discovered the abscess was still there. I had to have a deeper cut to remove all the infection and was prescribed antibiotics as well as pain meds. I requested a refund and they are refusing. I will take this further to the board. This could have resulted in health conditions directly to my body. I had two other people confirm the images showing the abscess. read more

She always makes sure that I get the treatment I need and explains everything that I need to know during my visit. Anne, the hygienist is also amazing! Doesn't prioritize your time. Never on time. Adds extra services without telling you. I simply wanted a cleaning and since they were behind and wanted to add additional services I had to reschedule. They do not tell you have 5 cavities when in reality, you only have 1. I have been to places like that, but Rancho San Diego Dentists don't do that. Dentist Nguyen said I needed a new porcelain crown in order to fill a cavity. This would cost me over $900, after the insurance paid their portion. I went to another dental office to ask how much they would charge. 00! There was NO cavity, so creating a new crown was unnecessary. The second dental office took x-rays of tooth #13 FOUR times and did not see any proof of a cavity!! To clarify matters, I went to Rancho San Diego Dentists and asked them to send me the X-rays by email. They confirmed my email address. I never got the X-rays, which makes me more suspicious of their honesty. Stay away! read more

I absolutely love going back because of Anne Dungca, dental hygienist, she is very particular to details which is very important especially to my regular prophylaxis. If you are like me, going to the dentist was a very stressful experience until I found Rancho San Diego Dentists. I am not a fan of every visit, especially getting deep cleaning, amongst other procedures. However, the office made me feel much better and helped me get through the nerves. Dont waste your time or money. I really hate saying that because I have been a patient of Jessica's for years and she was wonderful. Unfortunately she is wasting her talents with the office staff. They have inconsistent billing practices, which includes waiting to submit their billing to the insurance company and continue to provide services while either knowing they had outstanding invoices or were negligent to check to make sure they were paid and that their insurance information is correct. So, because they didn't do their job, they tried to pass along their mistakes to you to pay. Their unethical billing practice is disgraceful and disgusting. Run! read more

The dentist was great but the front desk staff were not - they shouted out the medications that I'm on across a busy waiting room, which I didn't feel comfortable with. The beginning of 2024 I had an extensive dental treatment with this practice. Two root canals, a crown lengthening, and two crowns, that cost over $3k. Fast forward to the beginning of February 2025, I was eating and to my shock my crown came off. Since then I had moved out of state to PA, so I went to a local dentist here and after an X-ray they informed me that due to the crown being poorly made I had decay and am going to need a new crown. So reluctantly I obliged. So while in the process of getting a new permanent for one of the crowns, in the meantime my other crown that was done in San Diego came off as well. I shared an image and as you can see the new permanent that I got done here vs the one in San Diego is night and day in quality. Let alone one looks like an actual tooth and one just looks like a blob. My new dentist was shocked that this was actually a permanent crown and not a temporary. I also found out that the second crown also had decay under it. Which is disgusting. The only good thing to come out of this is, I contacted Rancho SD and they without hesitation gave me a refund for both crowns. Which is why I am giving two stars instead of one. read more
