Holly and Pete at Rancho Robles deserve all the praise in the world for the amount of support and education they have provided. We have been looking for a Beagle puppy for months and evaluated quite a number of breeders that would be well versed in Beagles. Well, Rancho Robles team helped on every single aspect of our research. This was not our first experience with Beagles and have been familiar with the breed for 20 years; however, when talking to Holly and Pete, we found ourselves continuing to learn and understand questions that we felt incomplete for our tenure with Beagles. Every book and resource that they recommended to us was well thought out and detailed. Every visit we had with them was informative and most importantly very fun. They are very responsible and protective of their family of Beagles and pets. When you see their home and grounds, it is evident the amount of organization and responsibility they maintain to raise these animals. They are extremely committed to maintaining a healthy line of communication to continue to be a resource for us during the life of the Beagle. This is not just some puppy mill or backyard breeders, but you can see why they are proud of their pedigree and health focused program. Not only are all their dogs and puppies beautiful but they are raised in a way that encourages all of the proper needs to raise your puppy, so long as you put in the effort required when you take your puppy home. Following all of their recommendations, our puppy has managed to learn 12 commands in less than 2 weeks. He came mostly potty trained due to their program and understands that relieving themselves is an outdoor process. We are in the process of raising our little puppy to ring a bell to use the bathroom and he is beginning to connect the dots. We are 2 ppl with full time jobs as well and following the Rancho Robles suggestions and support is making our lives significantly easier from everything to crate, command, and obedience training. We are truly blessed to have met both Holly and Pete and are very excited to continue our relationship with them in the future when we decide to add an additional puppy to the family. If you have a chance to talk to them about any of their processes and family, you will see very easily that they care about their lineages and pedigree to a high regard. There are not many that have a holistic approach that is embedded in education and experience. We got our beagle Parker from Rancho Robles in November 2021 after extensive research on beagle breeders nationwide. Dr.Holly was so helpful and pleasant to work with since our first communication. We were notified immediately when the puppies were born and received weekly updates. When it was time for us to pick our puppy from the litter. It was the easiest and also hardest choice at the same time. All the puppies looked so cute and beautiful. I wanted them all. I let my 10-year old take the pick based on the videos. With her extensive experience, Dr. Holly suggested this other boy would be a better match for us based on the puppy aptitude test. She also provided us the video of another of her adult beagle who had similar temperament (and appearance!) as the puppy she suggested. We immediately took her suggestion. It is THE BEST decision we have made. We flew to Texas to pick up our Parker and got to tour Rancho Robles and met the beagle family. All the beagles were so well taken care of. They LOVE people. Our Parker is everything Holly predicted he would be and more. We are thankful for Rancho Robles we got to cuddle our perfect beagle every day. read more

we couldn't be more happy or pleased with the entire process Pete and holly have at rancho Robles kennels. We went to visit before putting a deposit down, to meet and see the "beagle farm" as my son called it. If there was one thing for certain, it's that Pete and holly LOVE these beagles and put their heart and souls into their babies. We got a tour of the farm and got to meet every single beagle. We were in heaven. We sent In our deposit not 10 minutes after leaving. Soon there after I got a call that someone backed out that was in front of me and I was able to come pick up my girl. our Molly is so loving. Mischievous, but that's how we like her. Shes got the most perfect beagle markings and the softest coat. And we couldn't imagine our family or life without her. read more

Rancho Robles Kennels - Pet Breeders Near Me

The Robles presented themselves as experts at picking out the right dog for families. We had several lengthy conversations about what we wanted for our family. Not only was the dog we received nothing that was described to us but he was very aggressive (especially towards our young children). We worked at home with him, vets, and trainers to try and make him work out for our family. We contacted Holly on multiple occasions asking for help and recommendations, but ultimately it came down to the fact that his aggression was so bad we had to send him back. Throughout the process, and also up until drop off, they didn't seem to care about what we went through financially or more importantly, emotionally. They were more concerned with telling us the dog wasn't aggressive and that what we were doing was wrong than caring about how we possibly felt about the whole situation. In fairness they did offer to replace him, however, we were already invested in working things out with him and not trusting that the Robles wouldn't be able to find him a good loving home. No offer was ever made to provide any sort of reimbursement for this entire process, although it does seem that they are trying to sell him again for the amount we paid for him ($2,200) which is flat out wrong. They completely stopped communicating with us when we asked (very nicely) for some of the proceeds of the SECOND sale of the dog. Bottom line is we gave them A LOT of trust and A LOT of money to deliver us the complete opposite of what they had described. This was a VERY negative experience and we didn't have a positive interaction past picking up the dog. I would be very careful if buying a dog from this breeder. read more
