Absolutely 100% please with every staff member here. My baby was happy to go for a ride until she realized we were at the vet, but the staff was amazing with Liberty & her nervousness. Cost was pretty reasonable as well. Thank you Dr. Garcia and thank you to all your staff. She was all smiles leaving despite having an ear infection!!

What can I say that hasn't already been said about Dr. Withrow & her staff. Before we even rescued our new furbaby Ruby I started looking for a good vet. Checked out Yelp & first recommendation was Long Meadow Veterinary Clinic. Read most of the reviews & was impressed. Looked at other places close by & it was an easy choice. We picked up Ruby on 7/12 in the evening & today I called for an appointment & Natalie was very personable. Great first impression. After some quick questions, we lucked out & got an immediate appointment scheduled, so off we went. First step into the clinic & yet another great impression. As mentioned before the place doesn't look or smell like any vet clinic I've been too. My daughter was quick to point this out. We were greeted by Natalie & she immediately knew who Ruby was & greeted her to make her feel at ease. Then we met a vet tech, I forgot her name but she was also personable. Again, great first interaction with Ruby. They get her to immediately cooperate, with a treat of course, to sit still on the scale. They were quick with praises for Ruby putting her at ease with them. We were shown into an exam room & again spotless & odorless. We were even offered beverages while we waited. You forget you're in a vet clinic. After some quick paper work we meet Dr. Withrow. Again, as mentioned before, she did her whole exam on the floor with a little help from the vet tech. Considering Ruby was in the shelter for 3 months, you'd figure she'd have some apprehension about vets, but not here. Ruby felt so at ease she even laid down. Dr. Withrow was great about explaining everything & confident that she could treat Ruby's minor skin condition which put me at ease. She answered all my questions & wasn't quick to push products. After they took Ruby in the back for a pedicure, Ruby came back with no anxiety & wasn't rushing to get out which is first for me. My dogs in the past were clawing to get out after being taken away. Like I said, what a great experience for me & Ruby. Glad this place is close to our house. Thanks Dr. Withrow & staff at LMVC.

Ask the Community - Long Meadow Veterinary Clinic

Do you do acl repair for dogs?

While we would love to meet you and your pup for other medical care, we do not offer orthopedic surgical care. We recommend seeking care from a boarded veterinary surgical specialist with years of advanced training in these types of procedures.…

Do y'all do Bunnies? I would like to get my female Netherland dwarf bunny spayed but I'm not sure where to go for her. If y'all are able to, about how much would it be?

Hey Jenny! Thanks for reaching out. We do not see bunnies at our office, but you might want to try the ABC (animal and bird clinic) close to us. They see a lot of small/exotic pets and may be able to help you with your bunny. Please let us know if…

Her vaccination records were a mess, including an accidental double rabies vaccination, and she was missing her third FVRCP dose. I explained the situation, sent over the confused medical records, and she got us scheduled right away. The veterinarian was thorough and on time, carefully reviewed both the original messy records and the corrected ones, gave my cat her third FVRCP dose, and did a complete exam including verifying that her previously broken leg had healed properly. They got everything taken care of in time for my trip, and I really appreciated how they worked with such complicated circumstances. Aurora's responsiveness and the doctor's attention to detail made all the difference. Highly recommend!

At a time in your life when your dog gets cancer it is the worst thing that can happen but when you have someone like Dr. Johnson to take care of her you're very lucky. I like the fact that she let it be my decision, told what she could do but did not push to do all these different treatments for a 14 Year old dog like other Vets do. Bella is doing so much better but it's all due to NVC. I'm so thankful - I would tell anyone who needed a good vet - This is where you need to go.

So much wrong. The worst part, my dog didn't even need the surgery! His CCL is in tact, but she told me it had fallen out. Initially, the specialist told me the leg may need to be amputated because there was so much damage. Miraculously he's walking with it now after 3 months of treatment by a specialist and several surgeries later, he can use his leg. He's only 2, most likely will have issues the rest of his life and if his CCL tears in the future, TPLO is not an option due to all the bone damage. DO YOUR HOMEWORK before ever letting a non board certified vet operate on your pet! Read the vet board information. Sadly NVC is not concerned about my pet's future issues that are very well documented as a result of the damage from this completely botched and unnecessary surgery. Very disappointing that they do not feel any obligation for his future health and well being for the damage their vet did to his leg. A few pics below of his recovery.

The upper echelon in veterinary medicine knowledge and care anywhere in the world!…read moreDr Laurel Douglass amazes me. I had met her and learned of her exceptional skill level upon meeting her at an emergency clinic in 2018. I had since moved to Conroe. This week I contacted her after experiencing a crisis with my pug, Max... long story, but he was going blind at a rapid pace. Two Conroe area vets had suggestions, yet, could never explain the situation (I had a pug in the 90s and a similar situation yet, this problem w/Max was different). Sadie, Embrace Care's wonderful front office mgr had me email all the details along with a pictures. Their office is an hour's drive away. Dr Laurel Douglass then called me, we spent a great deal of time discussing the situation. She asked for additional pictures. Then after hours, she contacted and discussed w/Marc Rainbow DVM an ophthalmologist. She made arrangements for an emergency appointment. I had never met this doctor, but today, Max was examined and a proper diagnosis was made, he will have surgery in the morning 10/15/20. Long story - yet - Dr Douglass did NOT charge me any money for all of her time and expertise knowledge, which is worth much more than I spent with lesser vets. I find her generosity amazing!!! Not only had she saved my Max several years ago, when he was being misdiagnosed, she then saved a rescue kitten that was on death's door as well (who is now a very happy cat), yet, for her to do all that she's done for me this week and not even charge a consultant fee for investigating his unique problem is quite astonishing. She went far beyond what anyone would expect! She is brilliant, professional, a perfectionist, if you will, AND a very, very good human being! Truly amazing in the world of veterinary health care today. I highly recommend that you use this veterinary hospital. You will be doing yourself and your pet a favor.
