LONG REVIEW ALERT:…read more Absolutely LOVE this vet!! I submitted an inquiry Saturday evening for an appointment and Monday morning I received an email and follow up call to come in for an appointment that morning. When I got there the front staff were very friendly and made me and my new puppy feel very welcome! The facility was also very clean!! We were almost immediately taken to the back and were seen by the doctor once we filled out the new patient paperwork. The vet was very personable and easy going. She was thorough and patient with my puppy (and me)! I had a million questions, and they were all answered without me feeling rushed or as if I reached my question limit. In addition to answering my questions, I was given lots of great advice. I love that everything is explained before any work is done, and they make sure you have a great understanding of what each item is for and the importance. When they took Coco back, I waited in the lobby area where they had refreshments, coffee, etc. When they completed everything, they asked me to stick around for a few minutes to ensure there were no reactions. While we were waiting the ladies at the front were super sweet and offered Coco a little treat. You can tell that everyone at this clinic truly care and want the best for your puppy! You won't feel pressured and can trust their recommendations are for the best. I can't say enough about how amazing my first vet visit was, and I look forward to many more

That consistency meant a lot to us, and we appreciated the level of care from the vets. However, our overall experience was often frustrating. It frequently felt like there was a strong push to upsell services and products during visits. Bills could easily climb into the $400-$500 range due to added extras that didn't always seem necessary. If you choose this clinic, I'd recommend asking detailed questions and being very clear about what services you actually need at that moment to avoid unnecessary extra costs.

I have very limited funds, and the staff of Friendship Animal Hospital was very understanding. Dr. Vogt gave me a prioritized list of how best to provide care for Nutmeg which allowed me to make informed decisions. Her exams are the most thorough I've ever seen. Every member of the staff is compassionate, patient, and professional. No, Friendship is not the cheapest hospital out there, but even though my funds are limited I know I get the highest value for every dollar. One year later Nutmeg is still sleeping next to me every night and going for walks around the block. You can't put a price on that.

Carla who was so sweet asked if I could call her back if anything changes during the evening. Well 6 pm came around and Kai was not able to stand nor walk decided to take him to a 24 hour clinic in Katy mistake that I wouldn't do ever again the doctor put Kai on the examining table checked his back legs walked over to me and said we can't do anything for him here you'll have to take him to another 24 hour hospital nearby where he could have imaging done and she proceeded giving me the price which was 2 to $3000 and also said that he might need surgery which that was another $8000 also informed me that the longer I took to provide care for him he might end up paralyzed for the rest of his fur life I informed the doctor that I just didn't have $10,000 just lying around and asked what could she do for him there well she came up with a medical plan for 12 hours at almost $2400 or a 24 hour plan at $3500. I was so desperate and worried that I wanted to go with the 12 hour plan but had to talk to my husband first he didn't answer so decided to bring Kai home before leaving doctor informed me that his quality of life wouldn't be good and offered something very drastic for me and my daughter who was with me at the time we drove home bawling almost for 45 minutes straight till we got home next morning Carla called and ask if we were bring Kai in to his 11:30 appointment I confirmed that we would be there for a second opinion and I told her our ordeal that we went through the night before Carla apologized and told me not to worry to bring Kai in that Dr. Aguirre would take a look and we will go from there. Our hearts were aching to see Kai in pain took him in. Dr. Aguirre and his team took time and worked Kai up suggested a x-ray. At first Dr. Aguirre thought it was a injury to his back after x-rays, Dr. Aguirre showed me where Kai had blew out one of his disc ‍ plan of care was to keep him 12 or how many hours it took to get him better next day I get a call that our Kai is doing much better and we can pick him up we get there doctor opens the door and here comes Kai walking out the door OMG we couldn't believe it my heart was thinking that I almost put him down based on what the doctor from the night had told me fort bend animal hospital are amazing. They are very caring very loving, very understanding. Dr. and all his team have hearts as big as Texas. Love them
