We also have great respect for Dr. Carmen, who has always provided wonderful care whenever Dr. Plummer was unavailable. However, our experience yesterday with the front-desk staff was our biggest disappointment in two decades with this practice. While driving down from The Woodlands with our toddler, who had a difficult meltdown and accident on the way, we hit severe traffic and ended up about 20 minutes behind schedule. Recognizing the inconvenience, I proactively called the clinic while stuck in the HOV lane (where we physically could not exit or turn around) to communicate our delay. I completely understand that clinics operate on tight schedules and doctors have personal commitments after closing. I never expect staff or doctors to stay late. What broke my heart was the complete lack of basic human decency on the phone. Instead of any understanding, we were met with a robotic, defensive, and dismissive attitude telling us to reschedule while we were trapped on the highway mid-drive. After 20 years of dedication to this clinic, being treated with such cold indifference by the front of house team was deeply hurtful. The caliber of doctors here is world-class; the front desk urgently needs coaching on basic empathy, tone, and how to communicate with stressed, long-standing clients. I am leaving 1 star right now until someone reaches out to me to address and resolve this experience. I want to be clear that this is not meant as a threat to anyone. Given the two decades we have spent with this clinic, I genuinely want to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, it feels only right to leave this rating because of how insignificant and dismissed I was made to feel that day. If our loyalty and feedback do not matter enough for leadership to respond or rectify the situation, then leaving a 1-star review shouldn't bother them anyway.

We have been fortunate that our pet has generally been healthy. We brought him to Lighthouse after noticing that he had fleas and had vomited multiple times on Saturday. However, he had not vomited again after Saturday, and we specifically communicated this information when we brought him in at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Despite this, Dr. Dhami administered an injection for acute vomiting and prescribed vomiting medication. Why was it necessary when our pet had not vomited for approximately two days and we had specifically made the veterinary team aware of this. Ridiculous Rather than prescribing Simparica TR, we were given a more expensive alternative. What is particularly troubling is that the individual tablets cost less than purchasing the package. It clearly reflects their money making attitude. Most importantly, we were presented with a bill exceeding $500 without a thorough examination and investigation had been completed. There were no conclusive test results available at the time.. This has left us questioning whether all of the services and medications provided were medically necessary. We were also very disappointed that no one contacted us after the test results became available. As pet owners, we expect to be informed about the results of tests performed on our pet, particularly when we have incurred significant expenses Disgusted - And when we called the office, no apologies, just excuses! Think twice before you go to this clinic and see Dr Dhammi.

We were welcomed by this clinic, and the service was top-notch. Our cat, who dislikes vet offices in general, seemed comfortable there. She recovered over time and we used this office as her vet until she passed a couple years later. When she passed, the clinic sent a card, which was very thoughtful. Fast forward to 2026, and we're visiting for the same reason - I guess we should learn our lesson on our original vet - our young boy cat has gotten in a fight and has puncture wounds. While the case has been difficult to resolve due to the location of bites and infections, the clinic team has been great to deal with. Just like my old cat, this new cat seems relaxed at this office. The place is new, clean, and fun. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a temporary or permanent provider.

We had taken her as a put to another clinic where the vet misdiagnosed her with having dysphasia. That vet was a quack Dr. Chung at GWAH said that was a load of crap and that our dog was normal. In fact, Tasha was a great dog that lived a full life. We now have two more terrors, I mean German Shepard's: Tex and Shadow. They love visits to Dr. Chung even on shot days! GWAH offers everything from boarding, routine care, surgery and, sadly, anesthesia. The hospital is located on the corner of Grand Parkway and Westheimer Parkway. It's on a green belt and pedestrian trail that connects to the the bayou trails. So I can walk my dogs to the vet and then let them tire out on the way home.

At first, Dr. Chung seemed very compassionate for my dog but when he went to draw blood, he had to do it 3 times to get it. My dog is 13 years old and very calm and relaxed. I have never had a vet had to do this. For the stool sample, I had to walk my dog outside and wait for him to poop. Every other vet has a tool to take a sample. He told me I had to come back in a few weeks. On the second visit, I did find him to be concerned about my dog but he was not very nice to me. Lastly, we purchased a kitten for our daughter last month and he was horrible. I immediately started looking for a new vet. I have found one that I do like and he is half the price of Dr. Chung. Dr. Chung quoted $700 for neuter and declaw and my new vet quoted $310. I have chosen WellPet on Westheime Lakes and 1093. I will never go back to Dr. Chung. Oh...one last thing. If you like to purchase your flea and heartworm meds online via petmeds or something like that, FORGET IT!!! He will not approve the prescription and will only allow you to buy the meds from him at a higher price. RIDICULOUS!
