The tire pressure was getting low in my vehicle so I decided to stop by the Chevron gas station which had a air and water station near it. A lovely staff member from the Rancho car wash helped to fill up my tires for me (thank you)!!! I decided to get my vehicle washed while I was there and selected the platinum car wash. You pull up in line, they give you a ticket, then you pay for it inside the gas station. Pros: -outstanding customer service- again, thank you to the staff member who helped me out with my tires -quick service Cons: -n/a read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received. I paid $200 for a car wash/detail, and for that price I expected the car to be thoroughly cleaned. Unfortunately, the leather seats were still dirty, and the exterior had visible spots and areas that clearly weren't cleaned properly. For $200, the attention to detail should be significantly better. I shouldn't have to go home and clean the car again after paying this much for a professional service. Definitely not worth the price. read more

This place was good FOR YEARS!! Sadly they have some new manager with really bad knowledge/desire to offer quality and is focused on upselling for ridiculous things, ie. when you pay for an interior and exterior clean and you want them to clean the center console, that costs extra. AND if you ask why something wasn't done, they say that costs extra. In the past, the interior and exterior were done with quality, now you have to pay extra for quality. Too bad because it seems like the men working there, who actually do the work, want to do proper work, but they're not allowed to, unless you pay extra! read more

This place is the absolute worst. They scratched up my new car badly and refused to take any responsibility even though I am a long time customer. They use filthy dirty rags with all kinds of things stuck to them and they WILL scratch up your car and take zero responsibility. Stay far away and do not get your car washed there. read more

I was waiting for my car and I thought it was finished because they had moved it up in the driveway where they put cars that are completed. I went to see if it was done and the Manager, driving another car, came speeding past me, driving within about a foot of where I was standing. It was so close I could feel the breeze of the car going by me. Very dangerous move and completely unnecessary! I was in the lane and going towards my car because I thought my car was finished. I asked another patron if he saw what happened and he echoed the fact that he was being reckless. When I asked the Manager who identified himself as Asoul, why he did that, he said I shouldn't have been in the lane and he has it on video and that it was my fault. I told him I'd love to see the video, but he refused to show me because he said he was working. This is really sad because my wife and I have come to this car wash for over 25 years. Unfortunately, when this is how the person in charge acts, we'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

So I took my car here today for a regular wash and the first thing the attendant said to me was that I would need to get this detailed because of "tree sap on the hood". He said that the charge would be $70 because "$50 of that would be needed to buy a new brush after it was used on the car". I asked to speak to his manager, and he said that he was "off for today". He then walked away from me and refused to talk with me any further. I then drove to Encinitas Car Wash, paid $18.99 for a regular wash and this is the result below. No questions about tree sap and the sap is gone! Do not go to Rancho Car Wash. They are constantly trying to upsell their services and our rip off artists! read more

Oh goodness!! I did not see the reviews before getting my car washed. I stopped to get gas and saw the prices were reasonable so decided to take it in. Person who wrote my ticket up wanted to sell me a wax service. I said no thank you, just the platinum package which includes everything. I was excited because the guys who were washing my car before going through the wash were doing a god job. But that was about all the good of it. Person who dried my car did a horrible job. I paid for dressing inside and out, air freshener, detailed drying to include windows and all were left horribly. No dressing inside to the dashboard or leather, no air freshener, and windows full of streaks. It literally took them less than 10 minutes to finish my car. Sad. Will never come back here again if in the area. I gave a tip to the person who worked on my car, but later regretted after seeing the horrible job they did. Do not waste your money coming here. read more

I've been going there since they opened! However there is one employee who recently sexually assaulted me by hugging me then kissing my neck! I had been putting up with his lude advances for so long as I've loved this carwash but now he went too far! After telling Kevin the owner, he pretty much did nothing but suspended this employee! Gross! I'm sick of being sexually harassed here and now assaulted. read more

Good price and friendly staff! I take our cars to the Rancho Car Wash every few weeks. I recommend this business!

Haven't been back for a while and unfortunately have to agree with so many other reviewers that the cost has gone up significantly and the service down. I got their gold wash which was now $30, and for a good hand wash I could deal with that. Unfortunately, not only was there still white bird poop the size of a quarter on the hood of my blue car (not sure how you miss that), but there was still bugs and dirt all of the front and back of the car, which when I point it out they use their window clear to wipe it off. After doing that I notice they damage my wrap in two places. The gold wash was also supposed to include tire dressing that was never done, which I noticed when seeing that the wheels themselves were still filthy as if they were never cleaned. Upon entering the car I noticed they didn't even wipe down the interior. Won't be going back there again. read more

I took my car here for a car wash, during the cleaning they popped my audio knob (not the volume but the scroll knob) off and I noticed the next day. I contacted them and they got my phone number "in case it shows up" which it won't. Didn't offer me a future discount or anything just said, sorry. Lol cool. Now I have to purchase a new one and pay for it when it was unnecessary and careless for them to lose. Thanks for nothing. read more

Have been going here for 10'years. Not sure what happened. Service horrible. All I wanted was an interior wipe down and vacuum for my Jeep. Quoted me 190? I said no that is way too much I'm not even getting a wash. He took 20. 00'off. Long story short paid 60 +9.00 tip. Waited 1 hr. Got home started looking closer, dirt everywhere. Didn't clean back seat, back side of visors not touched and completely dirty dusty. I had to clean the entire inside again myself. I will not be going here again. Not sure what happened. Cleaned before I took other photos unfortunately. But it was extremely negligent read more

Worst carwash in North County. The workers are only concern on rushing thru the vehicle so they can turn tips faster. Horrible work, they always make up excuses. I seriously don't recommend this carwash, specifically if you have a nice car and if you do make sure you check your vehicle before and after for any damage. You are either going to get a shity job or your car damaged. read more

I don't write complaints. But I am so livid right now. I can't even believe this car wash. I just spent $180 for a detail. The car came out literally with dirt on it. I took my fingernails to take off some of the dirt as the guy stood there 180 dollars down the toilet. The guy sold me this as a detailed service that they would use a buffer to take out the light scratches. Have they used a buffer the dirt would've come off I was literally sitting there picking it off . They didn't open the doors to the car. The seats weren't done. It's not even conceivable that they could do this bad of a job. read more

Speed out of there now! Horrible business. I took my car here today to get an interior detail. I was quoted 200 so I asked for something less. He said for 160 he would do a mini detail inside. I thought that was too high but I have been wanting a nice detail for awhile so I decided to go for it. I came back an hour later to get my car. My car had been vacuumed, yet there was plenty of dirt everywhere and it barely had been wiped down. I was confused and asked what was done since I had paid for a detail, but the guy could not tell me. He just looked through the car and would try to avoid my question. So I would repeatedly ask because I actually was very curious and he would continue to open my doors and look around without saying anything and then finally said "okay yah give me 20 minutes". I said "no what would you do in 20 minutes to give me my 160 worth?" And he wouldn't respond. I think he had hoped if He didn't respond I would just give up and drive away. I told him I would like a refund and I will pay for just a car wash. He repeatedly told me he could not do that. So I asked if there was a manager. He said "no not today, the manager will be here tomorrow". (I found out later, he is the manager!!) So I went inside and spoke to the cashiers and I could tell this was not the first time this had happened. They handled it well and helped me and spoke to the manager I had just been speaking to and I finally got my refund but paid for the basic car wash. I will NEVER be back there again. I had a bad experience at this car wash. They tried to upsell my fiancé because she is a girl and it appeared she didn't know what she was doing. She wouldn't fall for it. In addition floor mats were missing after she got home after using this car wash. I got the floor mats back next day but it was a hassle to go there again 2 times to pick them up. Plus I had to text with the manager since the car wash was closed when I came to pick up the mats. For $200 detail wash I expect to have my floor mats returned to me after the wash. Most likely not going there again. read more

I went in this morning for a car wash. I just wanted to give a bit shout out to the manager who helped me when I thought the guys had accidentally damaged my car. He was kind, thorough (looking at the camera footage with me) and walked with me the whole way to make sure I was satisfied that they did not cause the damage. The cherry on top was having his guy buff out the spot where some jerk must have bumped me at the gym earlier that morning. That was really going the extra mile and was such a kind thing to do, it looks so much better after that. I will continue coming to this car wash and appreciate how hard they work! read more

Rancho Car Wash used to be great. Not anymore. Their prices have gone up a lot in the lady year. Their detail shop used to do a great job , not anymore. I brought my van in today to have it washed. Bad customer service to start with, person giving out the tickets with nasty attitude, talk to manager but did not seem to be make a difference, I had to listen to the guy later cursing I. I have been using Rancho Car Wash for 20 years.- for all four of our cars. Today when I took my truck down for a car wash they wanted to charge me $35 for the basic wash. Usually they charge $19.99 and I have a coupon for $2.50. They said they have a new policy for 2023, charge $5 extra for a truck and $10 extra for mud. 60% increase in price is not acceptable and I will find a car wash that is more reasonable. read more

Would give zero stars, quoted me $260 for their detailing. Complete waste of money. Smudges everywhere and dirt all over the inside of the car. Lots of cleaning gel left all over different parts of the interior. Seats were still dirty as well and all they told me was there was nothing they could do about it (ending up cleaning the seats myself later on just fine). Also completely ruined and tarnished the leather grain of my steering wheel, to this day little bits of rubber and residue are falling off of it. Unbelievable to pay that much money for a car wash to have it be completely subpar. It's so interesting how many other patrons have had such bad experiences with the quality and especially and I mean especially the prices. Just taking advantage of people who live in the area, shame. Don't take your car here, they will damage your vehicle and charge you heavily for it. read more

I have to admit that I didn't think it was possible to leave a car wash with a dirtier car than when you arrived, but Rancho Car Wash impressed me by doing just that. The nice thing was that after one look the manager apologized gave me a voucher for a free car wash - which I used a week later with my wife's car. Unfortunately when I came in the second time I experienced the exact same situation. I had VERY LOW expectations the second time I went in, but it was really laughable how bad of a job they did. I showed my wife when I got home and she didn't believe me that I took it to get washed. I can't prove it - but I have a theory that you give them your key, they drive your car around back wait 30 minutes and then bring it back out and say "all ready!". 0 start rating along with the rest of the reviewers here. read more

I used to use this car wash all the time and it was great. Not sure what happened! Took one car last week, the service was down in the dumps and the quality of wash was definitely poor too. I thought it was just a bad day for them n went back with another car just now. It was very empty! Service was ok today but the quality, just not there. No point in going back, too bad :/. Took our car in this morning and purchase the gold wash. They did a horrible job. Vacuum job was minimal at best - still had dirt on the floor mats and dog hair on the seats. They never even wiped down the interior. We were in a huge rush to leave and didn't have time to stay and have it corrected, but holy cow for a $25 car wash they could've done a whole lot better. Very disappointing - and we've been here before and had a much better job. You just lost a customer. read more

I feel like I am giving too high of a rating with one star. My car wash was $25.99 which was to include a hand wash with a basic interior cleaning, vacuum and tire dressing. First thing I noticed is that my wheels had grease and dirt all over them. I ran my finger across the wheel and it was completely black, so the guy saw me and leaned down to presumably wipe the wheels as I was sitting in the car. He motioned me to pull forward so that they could get another car out to dry. I pulled out of the parking lot and got out to look at my car. I had to wipe all of the wheels myself as they were still completely dirty And also dry the side of my car from all of the water spots that came out of my mirrors which he did not completely blow dry. The interior of my car does not appear to be vacuumed or wiped down at all and worst of all is that I have a scratch on the hood of my NEW car which they are saying they didn't do. read more

This place has bad stars for a reason. I called to speak to the owner/manager regarding an issue and a man named Alex picked up the phone. He told me he would be in on a different date then what he originally told me. I told Alex please find out this is urgent and Alex responded saying in profanity "I don't give an f*** who you are we don't want your business". I take it the reason this car wash has slowed down in business so much is because of employees like Alex who talk to customers this way. Avoid coming here it's not worth it. read more

This is a car wash and CHEVRON gas station right off the freeway if you're headed to LA from San Diego. VERY convenient location and I was very pleased to use it to get gas. The hours posted on this business represent the car was and not the gas station so don't worry, gas is here standard type hours for this kind of business. The staff I met was friendly and the bathroom was tolerable. There were plenty of snacks and drinks in the convenience store as well as some of the things you typically find in a car wash shop - greeting cards, air fresheners etc. Gas prices were fine and the location was clean and well lit. I'm not sure if they tried, whether or not they could do a worse job on a vehicle. The quality is like they did not even vacuum the interior even though I paid for a $29 wash. There are far better car washes off both Del Mar Heights and Birmingham. What is even worse is the ownership here has no concern for the quality of their product and if you challenge them or complain about your wash they become defensive and threatening.
