We got two…read morebeautiful Butterflies Japanese Maples from here, Wisteria, lots of Chrysanthemums, Lavenders, succulents, roses, hanging flowers, trimmed pine trees, etc. However, yesterday ( Sunday 6/28) was the first time we met Ms. Laurence. She was so helpful: enthusiastically assisting my husband and I to search information of flowers we needed to know and brought them out for us. With her nice and big smile along with her wonderful customer service, this trip to Valley Hill Nursery was surely the best experience we've ever had at this place. Thank you Ms. Laurence ( I just gave her a new nickname: Julia Robert - as her smile is exactly like this well known actress).

When I got there he said he was mistaken of the price and it was $70 more. He showed me the tree which had green fruit on it. I didn't look at the tag trusting him. I brought the plant to my son place as a surprise gift. My son looked at the tag the next morning and it said it said Meyer lemon, clearly not a lime tree. My son drove to the nursery and confronted the owner. He finally after stumbling on his own words, gave in and refunded the cash paid after my son drove the plant back. My son said shame on him for scalping his parents, a senior couple, with deceit, lies, and overpricing. We will never do business with this crook again.

The owner, Jess, just has such a calm, everywoman vibe about her, and she is so genuinely helpful! Not fake friendly or preoccupied/bothered or standoffish and know-it-all...just helpful and wise and experienced and upfront! I've seen her handle nosy, pushy customers with sincere help and without making them feel bad...that speaks volumes to me. Stepping into her shop, her absolute lil oasis, makes my day slow down a little and makes me take a deep breath and start looking at things a lil more closely. I see from her regular social media posts that she designs and maintains indoor plant displays in multiple local businesses, too. Even though it is not a large nursery, you still have a wide range of houseplants, herbs, and seedlings to choose from. I needed someone to replace a drainage system on the side of my house because the previous…read morecontractor did it completely wrong. They originally installed the drainage PVC pipe way too high and piled the dirt to high up on the side of the wall so moisture and water was leaking into the house causing wood floors to buckle. This disaster occured during this past 2022-2023 historic rainy season. Aguilar's Landscaping came in and gave me a very competitive bid and did the job superbly. The owner of the company Isreal was very professional, easy to talk to, and just a straight good person. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
