Sandy has literally transformed my life. A year and a half ago I made the decision to seek help. I…read morefound Sandy by doing a simple google search and I'm so grateful I did. I desperately needed not only a trainer but a life coach who could help me break through my old, stagnant habits. She not only helped me recognize and break old habits she and get me into shape as well. She worked with me, motivating me, cheering me on every step of the way. She is everything a trainer should be. Her knowledge and experience in life coaching/nutrition/personal training is exemplary. I am so comfortable in her gym. She has all the best equipment you would find in a gym. Working out has always been stressful for me. I actually hated it! I am so comfortable that not only do I look forward to working out I am having fun too. She will make you feel comfortable and at ease. I promise you that you will not regret hiring Sandy. I am a client for life. Sandy changed my life and will change yours too. The best decision I ever made.

I started working with Sandy before the pandemic started. My mother-in-law was working with her at…read morethe gym and offered to pay for my once weekly training...what did I have to lose? Agreeing to workout with Sandy was one of the best decisions I've made. Sandy meets you where you are. Her years of personal training experience and takes personal interest in you to help shape your exercise journey. You also get a two for one with Sandy. As a certified life coach, Sandy encourages, supports, and pushes you. She is flexible too - if life gets in the way of training, Sandy is always willing to reschedule. If maybe you've forgotten to schedule a follow-up, Sandy will reach out to keep you accountable. She encourages you to let her know about any bodily injuries and chronic issues and suggests alternatives and specific stretches. Since I started working out with my mother-in-law, I have moved two time zones over, gained a new workout partner (my husband) and have continued working out with Sandy over Zoom. We have both seen visible changes to our body, but more importantly feel increased confidence and feel stronger overall. What more can I say? Sandy is a sweet, sometimes saucy (but always funny), genuinely good-person. She simply wants you to be your best self.

Alex is the best trainer in LA!…read more He builds custom workouts based on your goals and lifestyle. Alex has a background in physical therapy and boxing which was very important to me as I've had some knee and ankle issues over the years. Plus Boxing helps with getting cardio weekly. No workout is ever the same. Even seeing him 3x a week each workout leaves me gas'd and surprised on how much we covered in a single session. Also each workout is close to 70-90 minutes! Over the last year I've been working out with Alex I have lost weight, gained muscle and built more stamina! I cannot recommend The Compound and the owner (and my trainer) Paul enough! I've always dreaded…read moreworking out and genuinely believed losing weight was going to be an impossible mountain to climb. Paul completely changed that for me. He has helped me realize that I *can* get there, one day at a time, and that mindset shift has been everything. In just 4 months, I've lost nearly 20 pounds and, more importantly, built healthy habits that actually feel sustainable. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable, intentional, and constantly switches up the exercises to make sure I'm getting the maximum benefit out of every session. He challenges me while also meeting me where I am, and I always leave feeling accomplished. The gym itself is always clean, has a welcoming atmosphere, and is refreshingly free of the intimidating, creepy "gym-bro energy" that can make working out feel uncomfortable. One thing I especially love is that The Compound has a Styku body composition scanner, which allows you to track progress beyond the number on the scale. Seeing inches lost and changes in my overall body composition and health has been incredibly motivating for me and being able to track my progress through Styku is a huge selling point. If you've been thinking about personal training but keep putting it off, take this as your sign (my only regret is that I didn't start sooner!). Meet with Paul. Invest in yourself!!!
