I actually took some time away from training, and yesterday was my first session back with him. To say he kicked my ass would be an understatement. I was exhausted, dripping sweat, questioning my life choices... and I absolutely loved every minute of it. I walked out feeling stronger, energized, and already excited for the next workout. What makes Rob different isn't just his knowledge, it's who he is. He's incredibly genuine, kind, and invested in every single client. Your goals become his goals. Your victories genuinely make him happy, and when you're struggling, he's right there reminding you that you're capable of more than you think. He's the biggest cheerleader you could ever ask for, but he also knows exactly when to push you. Just when you think you've reached your limit, he'll smile, hand you a heavier weight, and somehow convince you that you can do it. And somehow... you do. He believes in you long before you believe in yourself, and that confidence is contagious. What I love most is that Rob doesn't just help transform you physically, he helps transform you from the inside out. He teaches you how to fuel your body with better nutrition, helps you make realistic lifestyle changes, and constantly reminds you that you're stronger, more capable, and more resilient than you give yourself credit for. He doesn't just build muscle, he builds confidence. Every workout is different, challenging, and somehow still fun. His energy is contagious, his playlists are great, and the hour flies by. He pays attention to your form, explains why you're doing each movement, and genuinely wants you to succeed, not just in the gym, but in every aspect of your health. The thing I appreciate most is that Rob truly cares. You're never just another client or another appointment on his schedule. He celebrates your wins, keeps you accountable, checks in on you, and is genuinely invested in your success. That's rare. If you're looking for someone who will motivate you, challenge you, encourage you, and completely change the way you look at fitness, Rob is your guy. He's not just an incredible trainer, he's someone who changes lives. He'll push you harder than you thought possible, make you laugh while you're doing it, and leave you walking out of every session feeling stronger than when you walked in. I couldn't recommend him more.

He has helped me realize that I *can* get there, one day at a time, and that mindset shift has been everything. In just 4 months, I've lost nearly 20 pounds and, more importantly, built healthy habits that actually feel sustainable. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable, intentional, and constantly switches up the exercises to make sure I'm getting the maximum benefit out of every session. He challenges me while also meeting me where I am, and I always leave feeling accomplished. The gym itself is always clean, has a welcoming atmosphere, and is refreshingly free of the intimidating, creepy "gym-bro energy" that can make working out feel uncomfortable. One thing I especially love is that The Compound has a Styku body composition scanner, which allows you to track progress beyond the number on the scale. Seeing inches lost and changes in my overall body composition and health has been incredibly motivating for me and being able to track my progress through Styku is a huge selling point. If you've been thinking about personal training but keep putting it off, take this as your sign (my only regret is that I didn't start sooner!). Meet with Paul. Invest in yourself!!! It occasionally sports a Spanish accent, but it always shows up right when everything hurts - and matters -the most. I trained 2 and a half months with Larry, and ended up being able to beat many personal bests. I can now run 3 more miles than before than when I began, and lift heavy (and lost 10 pounds without trying). I also did my first snowboarding S-curves, something I credit to him showing me proprioception (fancy term for muscle awareness). He really is a great resource of training knowledge, and I highly recommend taking notes for everything you'll learn. He works hard to meets his client's schedules and goals, all the while making the training a blast. It really helped to be able to follow up each session with questions. He's even stayed overtime once or twice to get in more training time with me.

I've always been physically active, but after years of doing the same workouts I hit a plateau & needed some extra pushing. This dude does NOT play. He was exactly what I was looking for. He not only whoops my ass, but he also educates me on why we do each workout. I've had other trainers before & honestly, coach Sean is the only trainer I've had that will do his best to learn YOUR body and what it can do to give you the most effective and efficient workouts to reach your desired results. Alongside the great workouts I'm able to get every morning, Coach Sean is also a great person to talk to about... anything!! Besides the physical growth, he helps you mentally as well. Training w him is more than just the physical workout. I've had some pretty tough days in 2018 & I'd vent to coach about it, & you can just tell he definitely is here on earth to help people whether it's to achieve your physical goal or whether it's to pick you up when you're down. I first went to Coach after being referred by a friend. I had a gym membership before that and could never get myself to go. When I did, I didn't know what exercises to do or what I should be doing for my body type. So I went to Coach and had a consultation with him and he immediately knew what to do and how to get me going in my workouts. Let me tell you, he kicks my ass EVERY TIME I meet with him. It's a rewarding feeling. And it's super convenient that his gym is private, other than when his partner is there, so there's no way to be self-conscious about other people watching you. On top of that, Coach is very experienced in all types of things and he is a life coach as well. Always offering advice and always there to listen. You don't find that kind of quality care all the time. Lastly, what you're probably looking at Yelp for is pricing. Every package is different with Coach so I can't give you an exact number, but sessions with Coach Sean are SO AFFORDABLE compared to buying personal training sessions at 24 Hour Fitness where it's 5 session for $250. Coach Sean charges for way less that it's crazy. But trust me, it is worth EVERY PENNY. Go achieve your fitness goals with Coach Sean. He's really so genuine and he cares about you and your goals. 100/10
