I got married on 9/13/25 in NH and Ra-Mu absolutely crushed it. From handing our mountaintop ceremony perfectly, to reading the room throughout the whole night, he seriously nailed it. He was so good at capturing and creating energy during the reception from start to finish. We had a few song requests for the dance floor, but otherwise left it up to him and he played a perfect variety that got everyone on the dance floor. He's so kind and very professional and his communication was amazing for any of our random questions or needs! I extensively researched and interviewed multiple DJs before I found Ramu. Ramu easily became the obvious choice and stood out from his competition. 1. Unbeatable pricing: Ramu's website is very transparent on all the packages he offers. He has the best prices in the industry that it even looks too good to be true. I didn't want to fall victim to "you get what you pay for," but trust me, that is absolutely not the case with Ramu. He will make your wedding feel like you just spent a million bucks. 2. Quick response times: Out of all my vendors, Ramu's response times were always the quickest. You will feel like you're his only wedding. He works hard to get to know you and remembers all the little details you tell him about your event. Ramu is not like one of those other DJs that has one conversation with you then shows up at your wedding. His level of communication is exceptional and he takes pride in getting back to you within minutes. 3. High quality equipment: Ramu would be great at any venue, but if you are getting married at Glen Manor House in RI, you especially should hire him! He's been doing weddings there for over a decade. He knew exactly how to set up my ceremony sound so that the mic audio was perfect and had no feedback. He worked well with my videographer so that our vows were clearly recorded for our wedding video. Ramu knew exactly where to put uplighting in the foyer, ballroom and loggia to make the venue look even more beautiful. When I was interviewing other DJs, they told me they don't usually put uplighting in the loggia because there is already outdoor lighting...Ramu is not like those other lazy DJs. He will go the extra mile to make your wedding vision come true. He doesn't care if that means extra work for him. I loved Ramu's Social Media Photobooth with postcard style prints. Our guests had so much fun with his props and signs. He provided a beautiful gold backdrop and even set it up in an area of the venue that he's never done before. But like I said before, Ramu is committed to making your wedding vision come true and no task is too "hard" for him. He will problem solve until you're happy. Ramu's Photobooth crew was so friendly and at the end of the night, they surprised us with a beautiful guestbook with all our guest's Photobooth photos and BTS video footage of our whole wedding! 4. I needed someone who is skilled in both DJing and MCing because I had a lot of special announcements that needed to be made. I asked him to play Chinese songs for our parent's dances. He played these cultural songs for us without batting an eye. I also wanted to have a thank you speech for our parents. I knew I couldn't say this speech myself because I would be a bawling mess, so Ramu eloquently delivered this speech for us. He said it in the most genuine, well-spoken manner that a few of our guests started crying before our parent dances even started. He made my Sunday wedding feel like a Saturday. I told him I wanted club vibes and not to play cliche wedding hits. He understood the assignment. I cannot rave about Ramu enough. All I can say is, in the wedding industry where everything feels overpriced and all about money, Ramu honestly offers the best package out there. He truly cares about his couples and delivering on all his promises. Words can't quite capture how excellent Ra-Mu and the Crew were for our wedding. We came across their instagram page and were really impressed with clips we saw of other weddings and receptions. What you see online isn't always what you get when you actually communicate with a vendor, but Ra-Mu is 100% the real deal. What you see online is what you get in person, and then some. Aside from offering extremely fair and transparent pricing, Ra-Mu offered a level of customer service that seems pretty rare. We had phone and in-person conversations to give Ra-Mu an understanding of us as a couple and what we envisioned for our special day. Our wedding was going to be a mix of cultures (from Irish to Caribbean, and everything in between) and we had very broad tastes in music. Throughout the process, Ra-Mu showed great intuition and quickly grasped the musical tone we wanted. He will play the music you want, but his judgement based on ideas you give him is consistently on point. We didn't have a song picked out for cutting our cake, and he picked one that tied so perfectly to the our first dance and parent dance song selections. Ra-Mu created an atmosphere of fun from the start of our ceremony straight through to the last song of the reception. While we had some genres and songs we did (and did not) want to hear, we gave Ra-Mu full reign to read the room when it came to music. Our dance floor was packed and lively the entire evening. There were unexpected party props, crowd participation and an overall sense of festive love woven throughout the evening. Ra-Mu was a hype man, a Disc Jockey, and facilitator of fun, and genuinely a great person to work with. Ra-Mu truly takes pride in giving you the best experience possible. On the big day, Ra-Mu and the Crew also provided wireless uplighting (and really nice touch and great way to shift the mood of the evening with lighting changes) and a mirror photo booth. There were two attendants helping with the photo booth who were equally as pleasant and helpful throughout the night. Hiring Ra-Mu and the Crew for our wedding was one of the easiest and best decisions we made. 10/10 would recommend! We wish we had another event coming up where we could hire him! read more

I would 100% recommend Ramu & the crew to anyone who needs a DJ for a special occasion! They provided a very interactive, entertaining, and fun experience. The DJ was very engaging and managed to get everyone on the dance floor during our recent event. I appreciate how the song selection was personalized and how the DJ went out of his way to make it a special day. Many guests commented on how impressed they were and how much fun they had at the event In large part by the DJ's efforts. I will say that the DJ also has a great personality, very friendly, communicative, and easy to work with. One of the best decisions I made was having Ramu DJ my November 2022 wedding! I can't express how grateful we are to of worked with him. He was professional, hilarious and made us so comfortable while meeting. I had specific songs I wanted & he had everything ready for me without hesitation. As a couple that is seriously into (and also particular about) music, James and I were kind of stumped when it came to choosing either a band or a DJ for our wedding. Through reviews, we came upon Ra-Mu and the crew. We ended up meeting with DJ Imho, and were immediately sure that we would be making the right choice booking him. We had a long list of music that we wanted to play at our wedding, and beyond that, Imho did THE BEST job picking tunes that not only fit the general theme of the playlist that we chose, but kept our guests happy and grooving all night. In addition, Imho brought his sister who helped run the photo booth (which was actually a beautiful little structure on its own) and took some fantastic photos. I heard of Ra-mu and the crew through a client during my wedding planning and they raved about how great he was. I reached out to him to get more information on his services and he got back to me right away. We set up a meeting and from the time we met him my husband and I immediately liked him. He was professional, detail oriented, and his prices were surprisingly affordable for the amount of extras he offers. We signed up for his DJ services for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He nailed the transition timing to switch to my song for when I was coming down the aisle perfectly. During cocktail hour all of my guests were raving at how great the music already was. During the reception he kept my guests and my husband and I dancing the whole time. We had the dancing on a cloud effect added to our first dance which was a huge hit with all of our guests and made our first dance truly magical. We also had the mirror photo booth, the guests loved it!! I had so much fun using it as well. After the wedding was over we went back to the hotel and looked through the book of photo booth pictures and it honestly was one of the best parts of our night seeing all the great, funny, and even semi scandalous pictures our guests had a blast making in the photo booth had both my husband and I laughing. I got married last night and had RaMu and the Crew as our DJ/MC and they were AMAZING! Our guests were dancing all night long and when the wedding was over they didn't want to leave. RaMu handled our ceremony/cocktail/dinner music as well and I gave him a few songs I wanted for our ceremony but he completely handled all of the other music for the night. I had a few must have songs I wanted played but that's all I gave him. I completely trusted him that he would pick good songs and I'm so happy I let him decided because he did SUCH A GOOD JOB!!!! He read the crowd very well and played a great mix of oldies and current songs. It was perfect.All of my guests loved him. Both of our parents told us after the wedding what a great dj/mc he was. We had the photobooth which is a must! Instead of buying little gifts for our guests which usually don't get used we had the photobooth for our guest and I'm pretty sure every single guest took a picture in it. He provided a huge box of props so I didn't have to to do anything for it. The photobooth takes 4 pictures and has the bride and grooms names at the bottom. Super cute! RaMu provided up lighting for us which made the room look beautiful. Our venue was very elegant and beautiful as is but the up lighting just added that extra touch. He's priced very well and goes way behind in making sure you event is perfect. He has that personality that just makes you smile when you talk to him. He's really funny and outgoing that he just puts you in a happy mood. He met with my husband and I 2 or 3 times (and he drove over an hour to meet with us!) to just touch base and make sure we were feeling good about everything. He even offered to come out one more time before the wedding to do a love story video which would've been played on the two tv's. We passed on the love story only because we had lots going on but I'd totally recommend it. Another great quality about RaMu is that you can always get in touch with him. He's great at talking on the phone or if you email him he's quick to respond. All of his staff was dressed very nicely and they were all so friendly. If I ever need a dj again I'm totally hiring him. You MUST book Ra-Mu and the Crew for your wedding!!! This is one review I am extremely excited to write as I just got married 2 days ago! When it came to my wedding I was apprehensive about the vendor part. I don't know these people and you have to put a lot of faith and trust in that they will deliver on your big day. Yes, they have done lots of weddings but this is MY big day and I want it to be perfect. I found Ra-Mu & the Crew on Wedding Wire and their number of likes grabbed me. I read MANY of their reviews and thought this might be the DJ for me. I left him a message and he quickly called me. He was very professional, excited about my wedding and we arranged a day to meet. My fiancé and I met him for lunch. I know you should interview a few vendors and then make a decision but once we sat down, I KNEW he was the DJ for me. His pitch of his product was flawless. I was amazed at the technology he had access to. He was offering to do my music, uplighting and photo booth for an unbelievably low price-where do I sign! But it seemed too easy so I continued to be slightly apprehensive. We continued need to talk periodically by email and were always ridiculously on the same page. He knows I like efficiency so we made a joke of it and Ra-Mu would always tell me how he "efficiently" completed a task I had given him...lol! At that point I knew he was someone I didn't have to worry about. He and is brother then came to my home to shoot a small video of me and my fiancé about how we met to play at the wedding which was awesome! He was the only vendor that came to my home and not once but twice! Up until the wedding, Ra-Mu was my sounding board. He advised me on MANY different aspects of a wedding. I had a wedding planner but Ra-Mu knew so much from his years of experience. From the ceremony, to the post marriage entrance, to who should say grace (he did)-he advised me on everything- he may as well have been my DJ and wedding planner. When a question arose, I thought "I'll ask Ra-Mu, he'll know! He said something to me one night, "contact me anytime because I work for you until the end of your wedding night." No vendor had ever uttered that! I was always his first priority and I LOVED that. The icing on the cake was when he created my wedding entrance remix. I was trying to do it on my own with expensive apps and finally called him and he said "no, I'll do that!" Ok, so I relaxed, explained what I wanted and waited for the sample. When I received it by email, I cried! It sounded the way it always did in my head since I wanted that song in my early college years. Ra-Mu is also a very funny guy. Always ready to make you laugh (my fiancé is quite serious and Ra-Mu managed a few smiles on his face-unheard of)! What is great about Ra-Mu is his flexibility in his delivery. You can request that he be funny, serious, jokey or a combination of them all. He can adapt to any style wedding. My venue said they LOVED him. My guests raved about the music, people were in awe of the video he recorded as to how we met (the venue said they never saw anything like it). People set up residence in that photo booth and at the end of the night I was presented with a photo album of the photos! Ra-mu and the Crew was by far THE BEST vendor in my portfolio (and I had a damn good portfolio). I know what it is like to read a review and hope what that person experienced is what you will experience. I am very hard to please so believe me when I say this is the DJ, up lighting/ photo booth vendor for you! Ra-Mu offers many different packages to meet your personal wedding and financial needs. No up selling, just confirms the price on his website. This was the most economical wedding vendor purchase I made. Ra-Mu was the one vendor people at my wedding could not stop talking about. Even my father kept asking about Ra-Mu! Ra-Mu's entire crew was courteous and professional and I was delighted to meet his kind father at the photo booth. Ramu and the Crew are amazing! We booked them first because we went to another wedding that they DJ'd and had to have them! Ramu was always quick to get back to us and really took the time to explain all of our options. He is very, very professional and also a great guy so it's so fun to work with him. Your DJ can definitely make or break your wedding since this is what gets everyone up and moving. And he knew how to do that all night. If the dance floor started to clear out at all, he would switch up the music and get everyone back up there right away! I as the bride had to change my shoes and go out for air numerous times because even I couldn't stay away from the dance floor. I tried to contact Ramu and the crew 4 times over 3 weeks regarding a quote and more information about their services and availability on my wedding day. I did not hear back at all. Now that I come to this site, I can see that there is a 2014 website - why change your website for every year? It makes it very challenging for couples that are doing research on DJs and not knowing which email address to use or which information is up to date. Unfortunately, because I had not heard back after so many attempts, I had to go with a different DJ.
