I really appreciate businesses like this, where customer satisfaction is a priority. Highly Recommend. Ron Tulin 813-707-4992.

Alright y'all, come with me while I get some maintenance done on my car because this right here?…read moreThis was a whole emotional rollercoaster So boom--I took my car to Cadillac for a full inspection thinking I was about to get some simple answers. Why did they hit me with almost $10,000 to fix it??? I'm talking heart dropped, stomach turned, "do I even need a car anymore?" type of moment. Because be real... TEN THOUSAND?? For a car that still drives?? Yeah, no. So instead of panicking, I did what I always tell y'all to do--I got a second opinion. I started calling around, checking reviews, doing my research, because one thing about it... I refuse to be played about my money OR my peace. That's how I found Mad Hatter Mufflers & Welding here in Tampa. When I tell you the vibe was right and the people were genuine? Baby, they got my car in, fixed my exhaust leak AND another issue in less than an hour... and only charged me a little over $300. From $10,000 to $300. Let that sink in. I could've sat in that stress, overwhelmed and stuck--but sometimes you just need a different place, a different opinion, a different kind of help. And honestly? That applies to life, health, and everything in between. Now my car is smooth, quiet, and I'm back on the road feeling like myself again. Grateful is an understatement. This is just how life goes.

I brought my C300 in for service, upon picking the vehicle up I noticed the right, front passenger side wheel and tire was not in the same condition as when I dropped it off. After several attempts to have the wheel and tire repaired due to their negligence during the after service test drive (that we didn't opt for or was told it would be driven), unfortunately Trevor refused to make this right. Additionally, I asked to see the before pictures and video that was mentioned on the phone, but was told there wasn't any. Any time a car goes in for service, a detailed report is completed by the technician, but I was told they do not do this. That's a bit concerning to me. Needless to say, be careful getting your car serviced here.

At first it was difficult to get information over the phone and to schedule an appointment. Apparently there was one person who may have the expertise for my Subaru. Maybe there was another reason, who knows? When I was there I asked very direct questions based on my limited knowledge of my car's issues and a previous estimate from the dealership. I didn't get direct answers and basically was told they'd have to work on the car to get the full picture. I made the mistake of sharing a written estimate. They basically recommended a lot of work which would require me to spend about what was on the previous estimate from the dealer, but not the exact same work. I was primarily concerned with anything that would effect safety and just being able to depend on the car not breaking down. They recommended new tires because of rot. I hadn't seen any rot but I took their word for it. They also did some suspension work, less than what I was going to get done at the dealership. I think they wanted me to buy tires through them also but that wasn't happening. After their work, I got my car back and got new tires from Costco. I still spent a lot of money. The quality of the work was good but the service, exchange of information and overall experience wasn't good. I know a few things about cars, I just don't work on them anymore because of all of the new technology. I think I know enough to know that I probably spent a few hundred dollars more than I needed to. Good quality work but not the value that I anticipated based on the reviews.
