If your New to L.A. I highly recommend going to Juan Juan Hair Salon. I have been going for 3 years and really like Ramses III styles. My hair is long. He lawyers my hair hair so that it's nice and full. The worst is going to a stylist that is scissor happy and takes off to much of your hair. However, not with Ramses he takes off just enough to leave you happy with a healthy style and loving it. I really like the staff as well at Juan Juan Salon, you will be greeted each time with a warm welcome as if you are part of the family. Each visit I'm offered Water and Cappuccino each visit. There is free parking on residential side streets across from the salon and you can park until 7pm. Overall, I am happy to spend a little more for great style and cut. Receiving a haircut from the wonderful Ramses III is a life changing experience. The talent this man posses is incredible. He understands the hair, face structure and simple beauty of every detail. Ramses III is the most wonderful, fun, compassionate, gentleman I know. He is always willing to do my hair however I need with hardly any notice at all. Ramses III is simply the best! I always compare him with an artist - my hair is his canvas and the scissors his brushes... I know him and get my haircuts from him since the 90s! The few times I thought I had to get a cut somewhere else, due to timing or location, I wished I hadn't, the flight to see him in LA would have always been better and worth it. The appointment went smoothly and the haircut was fine. However, the rating is due to the complete lack of professionalism David showed after the appointment. He sent me a very aggressive text accusing me of trying to get the Groupon refunded (which I never did as seen by the screenshot) and attacking my character. I promptly clarified that I never asked for a refund but he never responded / acknowledged his mistake. I am disturbed by how comfortable he was with berating a client, especially when he clearly had no proof of any wrongdoing. Calling me "sneaky", a "liar", and patronizing me about how I live my life without while never actually bothering to find out what really happened is disturbing behavior. I am concerned that this may be a pattern of his given how casually he treated this situation so felt the need to leave the review. I get that misunderstandings can happen but to not even acknowledge his mistake after leaving such a hostile message was very eye-opening and he is correct in that I will not be returning as a client
