He and Marco do excellent work. They removed all my irrigation lines to protect them before commencing the project and replaced them at the end. Great attention to detail and left the yard very clean. They brought out their blower to blow all the soil into the bushes. I decided to go with Paulino's bid since his quote fell in the middle and he had great Yelp reviews and communicated well throughout scheduling and job walkthrough. On the job day, Paulino and his partner transformed my yard after 2.5 hours of work. Big weeds gone and shrubs trimmed beautifully and even. We had to re-schedule once due to rain as water and power tools don't exactly go together well. Again, no hassle with changing the day. On the planned day, Raul showed up with another guy on time. We had him trim up 3 fruit trees, 3 palm trees, trim 10 bushes to candle shape, and clean up some junipers. He did the work well in a timely manner. Cleaned up everything. We've been through the whole process of getting quotes and browsing through Yelp for contractors and I can definitely say that the next time we have a landscaping project come up, we're going straight to Jeff. We received 5 estimates for our backyard - from companies large and small - and Jeff was the only one who actually listened to what we wanted and then gave thoughtful suggestions based on his expertise and actually had a vision for the space. Nearly every other company asked what we wanted but never asked any follow up questions or showed any interest in providing an expert opinion. That would be fine if I was a landscape architect and a botanist but... I'm not!! He and his coworker are here for at least 30 minutes (only backyard to do). He requested I let him know any concerns. So far I have had none. They both work together, do a great job, he answers questions and advises on things I ask i.e. trees, irrigation, plants etc. Highly recommend him - reasonably priced, honest, hardworking family man. Sometimes ya gotta know "the story" before calling out negative issues, i.e. out of state plates.
