Perhaps this could be a place that services individuals who would like to pay extra for the aesthetic and a "pleasant" staff, but don't let them scam you or your insurance. I'm very disappointed with how they try to upsell services , and over charge you and your insurance even if they are in your insurance network. For those of you who don't know, usually in-network providers are only allowed to charge you an amount which aligns with the policy and all in network providers should be charging the same. If they didn't try to charge me 4x more than the allowed amount per procedure for an in-network provider, $600 for 3 fillings post-insurance, and hold my x-rays hostage until my "claim was filed" only to later release them if I said I would pay until the insurance reimbursed me then go say " it's ok I don't have to pay," maybe I wouldn't have gotten suspicious and they could have gotten away with me paying more and kept my business. They in no way had a convincing story or reason for why the quotes were so high after insurance so I had to spend days learning about how insurance works and investigating only to come to find that they also charged me 4x more than the allowed amount for my X-rays. If they are in your in your network and you are thinking about going with them or had a procedure done with them in the past (OR ANY DENTIST YOUR SUSPICIOUS ABOUT) I HIGHLY recommend calling your insurance to learn what the max allowed amount is for a service code and filing a claim if you happened to already over pay. If this office wants to charge their own rates then that's definitely fine, but don't say you are "in-network" to gain new clients but not follow the policy and over charge the co-pay Thankfully I have found a new dentist who is in my network, follows the policy and was appalled by the rates they gave me and told me that it falls under "Florida Recommended Guidelines" but it shouldn't have been the rate for in-network. My insurance advocate said that these scams happen pretty often so checking that the fees align with the in-network policy is an important part of doing your due diligence with new providers. Stay safe out there !!

Photo of Eileen Kelly Eileen Kelly…read more 2 months ago I am very grateful to God for having blessed my life with Dr. Ospina and all of her staff. I have been overjoyed with this practice since became a patient back in October of last year. However, recently she took on a new Hygienist to replace the one that left who was super amazing but he left to go to dental school in Jersey. My new Hygienist is Patty and she is a miracle worker! She had big shoes to fill as her predecessor was awesome but she has filled those big shoes with flying colors and then some! Going to the dentist is finally a pleasant experience, Patty is very aware and conscience about how the patient is feeling or what they are experiencing during the cleaning process or any other treatment with her in the office. She has such a beautiful way of sympathizing and empathizing with eachpatient as I know it's not a unique with just me. The reporte she has built with me comes so naturally to her that I am sure she builds very similar relationships with other patients. Furthermore, I can tell that Patty knows her craft extremely well, she has plenty of experience working with different demographics and types of people, she is tidy, neat, as well as clean with her equipment and work area. Most importantly she loves what she does and that shines as well as reflects in her work. I love and thank God daily for my marvelous Hygienist Patty! Thank you so much Patty! You're one of a kind and simply the best! The only way to truly improve the experience at this practice is if Patty were to be working all 5 days of the week because at the moment she works Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and I absolutely refuse to have my mouth worked on and cleaned by anyone besides her. Sometimes Thursdays and Fridays work better for me but I have to stick to the days she is there, I don't trust my mouth to anyone else as amazing as the ladies are in this practice. Please consider strongly making Patty full time Monday through Friday, it would mean so much to me and Im sure to all of the other patients as well.

Late last year, I made an appointment for a cleaning, having had my last one 6 months prior to the lockdown. For a person who brushes her teeth after every meal and flosses twice a day, I was surprised to learn that due to not having gone for a cleaning for two years, my gums needed a much needed deeper cleaning. That's when I began a periodontal/gum screening/oral hygiene fitness plan, that included 5 visits in a span of 3 months. Danny, the hygienist who took care of me, handled my mouth with extreme care and explained the details of all the procedures before during and after treatment which I appreciated very much. The first visit entailed having my gum's depth measured throughout my mouth, a super deep cleaning with a local anesthetic and laughing gas (I did not feel a thing and felt rather nice actually). Other tests were done and sent to the lab to check thoroughly. That day I went home with a brand new Philips electric toothbrush, a Waterflosser Water Pic, several bottles of oral irrigators, floss, etc. so I too, could tackle those hard-to-reach crevices in and around each and every tooth and molar at home. It was all included in their extremely competitive flat fee. At each visit, Danny once again measured the depth of my gums around each tooth, gave me a deep cleaning and an Oral Hygiene Fitness Report that reflected the improvements. All my visits were pain-free, educational and left me with freshly cleaned teeth and gums and it showed :) Today was my last visit. After the cleaning, I felt squeaky-clean and accomplished, especially receiving an "A+" for the progress and my at-home efforts. Dr. Gallardo and his staff not only treat you with respect and like family, but they make sure the experience with their state-of-the-art equipment, is smooth and pain-free.
