It elicits debates among chefs as to which herbs (tareh, parsley, scallion, cilantro, shanbalileh, etc.) and beans to include or exclude. Debates aside, it sure was tasty! Couldn't find a menu in store, either the prices really fluctuate daily on dishes or they make up random pricing. The jury is out in that one! I did note what their offerings were without looking at a menu. Shish kabob charcoal. Halal fresh meats. Ready to eat hot food. Spaghetti with lamb. Beef with safran rice. Chicken leg with cranberry rice. Lamb shank with green rice. Sultan with green rice. Waziri with cranberry rice. Khorma zabzi. Lobya polo, rice with ground veal and green beans. Ghimeh stow. They have Turkish ready-to-go foods in their hot food, salads, and meze counter, including some of my favourites: - Midye dolma (stuffed mussels with herbed and spiced rice inside), commonly sold as street food in Istanbul and in the coastal cities of Turkey and Armenia - Kabak mücver (Turkish zucchini fritters), usually served with Greek yogurt - Imam bayildi (eggplant stuffed with tomatoes, zucchini, pepper, garlic, onion, olive oil) - Tabbouleh (Levantine salad made of finely chopped parsley, tomatoes, mint, onion, and bulgur) The inside of the supermarket isn't that big, and the produce section is quite small (although the produce items they carry are pretty fresh). Most of the products they carry are Turkish / Mediterranean (different types of bulgur, beans, etc.). The meze counter has staples such as hummus (made in-house), which you can get in bulk by choosing container size. Unlike big chain grocery stores that carry hummus in pre-packaged hubs from different brands, they don't offer pre-packaged hummus here - only the in-house-made hummus. What caught my eye was the babaghanoush. Instead of the regular dark-coloured babaghanoush (charred eggplant mixed with tahini), it was bright orange because it was Kurdish babaghanoush (eggplant mixed with tomatoes which give it a reddish / orange colour, as well as leeks and onion). I tried it and it tasted very fresh and flavourful. They also have hot meals including various kinds of lahmacun, pide, grilled fish with a choice of meze, etc. There is a small bakery with homemade flatbreads and different varieties of baklava (pistachio baklava, walnut baklava, carrot baklava, etc.), and a whole section dedicated to Turkish delights, nuts, and dried fruits.

They carry a lot of international products that might not be as easily found in other chain supermarkets. Arz Fine Foods also manufactures, packages, and sells a lot of their own branded products, ranging from chopped and packed produce (e.g. parsley, salads) to pita bread and jams. Their bakery / sweets section offers a variety of different baklavas, freshly made knafeh, Turkish delights, and more. The hot food section allows you to order on the spot and they make it fresh. Menu includes manakeesh, grilled items, and sides (rice, potatoes, mixed vegetables, tabbouleh, etc.). There are a few very small tables if you wish to dine in. In the other section with readily prepared foods, there are mujaddara (rice & lentils with fried onions), arnabeet (charred cauliflower), grilled eggplant, dolma (stuffed grape vine leaves), stuffed cabbage rolls, falafels, mutabal, and more -- a lot of my favourite Middle Eastern vegetarian and vegan food items! There is free parking available right outside in the parameters of the supermarket, but the parking space is tight and always packed. Turnover for parking spots is quite fast though (we never had to wait more than 2 minutes to get a spot). The interior of the supermarket is quite small, crammed, and always busy. But everyone seems to always be courteous enough to make room for each other and let each other pass. The lineup for cashier (using a common line) may seem long at times, but it moves fast.
