BEWARE!! Read all the reviews! I don't understand how they have great reviews, it makes no sense at all. I called and hired them based on these reviews which is why I have to warn others. We started working with Eric and Alejandro early last year. We broke up our project in 2 sections because of the size of it. They started and finished the first part ( which is the bridge of our upstairs. We paid half our deposit to start our curved staircase and we have been waiting nearly A YEAR. The turn around was suppose to be 4 to 6 weeks. Our staircase has been roped off and off limits for this whole time. It's pretty sad and embarrassing. These guys have used EVERY single excuse under the sun for why they are late. ( illness, their house burned, Death in the family, Covid, their accountant ripped them off, their suppliers are not responding and so on ). We have been very VERY patient and understanding despite this being very inconvenient and frustrating to say the least! I truly believe they have no intention on finishing and we are now left to find someone who can match what was started and finish what they left. AND sadly we are out the half deposit we paid for this big job. I can prove all the messages and payments and estimates. There is no way this is a misunderstanding. They are purposely ripping off their customers and it seems like they are focused on the bigger jobs to not finish. BEWARE and save yourself the headaches. read more

The experience started off very well. The team was responsive to all of our questions, and the design process was excellent. Once we decided to move forward, they provided a professional contract, which gave us confidence in the company. The 50% deposit requirement was also understandable for a custom door project. Unfortunately, things changed after the deposit was paid. Communication became extremely difficult. The owner rarely answered calls or responded to messages in a timely manner, and it felt like we were constantly having to chase him for updates. When we were able to speak with him, he often came across as rude and dismissive. The door ended up taking over two months to be installed, and that only happened after we began discussing the possibility of getting our money back. To be fair, the finished door looked great once it was finally installed. However, the door did not latch properly. I contacted the owner to have the issue corrected, and instead of providing a service date, he told me he would let me know when he could come by, requiring us to work around his schedule once again. Rather than continue waiting, I hired someone else, who fixed the problem the same day. Throughout the process, the owner repeatedly asked me to leave a positive review. I told him I would be happy to leave a review once the job was completed. So, here it is. I ordered a custom iron front door back in early November 2025. I am still waiting to get the door May 2026. They told me 5-6 weeks but its been 7 months now and I still dont have an installation date. The owner will not return my calls or emails. My sales person has told me 3 times since Easter to call the office for an install date and when I do they have an excuse of why they cant install the door. All I want to do is to close on my new house and I need a front door! I believe I have been scammed and I will need to take legal action to get my deposit back. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I was contacted by Ramirez Iron Works after showing interest in a custom iron door for my home in Corinth. We scheduled a free quote for 5:30 pm with Aaron. He later asked to move it to the next day, which I agreed to, and we confirmed the new time. He never showed up. When I reached out, he replied casually that "free quotes are able to move" and even offered to charge $100 for a quote "at whatever time you want" -- which was frustrating after already being stood up. Despite this, I decided to give him another chance and confirmed again for 5:30 the following day. Unfortunately, he was a no-show again with no notice or follow-up. I left work early twice to meet for these quotes, only to be met with zero professionalism. We are serious buyers ready to move forward with a metal door, but this company clearly doesn't value customers' time or first impressions. I wouldn't recommend Ramirez Iron Works based on my experience. There are plenty of other companies who show up when they say they will. read more

SCAM ALERT! If you are considering this company please read. I'm hoping to help others to not get ripped off as I did. First off do not give them your $$$! I am not the type to bash anyone. Infact this is my first ever review! I've dealt with so many subcontractors in my life and this company is by far the shadiest company I've ever dealt with. So let me explain to you how they work. Alejandro Ramirez the owner sends his son Eric who is VERY GOOD at making sales and over promising your job. He's very friendly and will convince you that they can do anything you want on your schedule. Their prices seem to be lower than everyone else so it all sounds great! They request half down payment For me half was 9k which I am now out of. They did my office door and wine room door so these guys are a real company BUT they suck at running a business. The wine door was backwards. When it was delivered and they realized it was wrong, the owner and son just put their hands in the air. A professional company would have took it back to their shop and modified it to how it was suppose to be designed. We basically had to install it inside out to make it work which looks silly but I just had to learn to live with it. I should have learned then but hired them to take care of my front curved staircase because I'm too nice. It has been a year since that agreement. According to their eta my staircase is 1 year late!!! I also own a company and work in construction and 1 year behind schedule with no hope in sight is ridiculous. He's given every single excuse possible as to why. I'm convinced he will not get the job done or give me my money back from his free will. As a matter of fact he is requesting MORE $$ because his supplier cut him off because he owes too much money. I am now finally getting my lawyer involved and we are planning on doing a class action lawsuit. So if anyone wants to join in this reach out to me and I will explain the process. Had good luck with a small railing, but as soon as we gave them the 50% deposit for the larger, very expensive fence they have been a nightmare. They promised the moon in the design now we can't even get them to show up when they tell us they will be here. There aren't a lot of options, but I regret doing business with them and would not reccomend them to anyone. read more

They damaged the Keystone that goes around the new door they installed. They finally agreed to take the 2 stones they damaged to have replaced. It's been 2 months and now. They won't answer or return calls. The iron work was great and I took them at their word they would do right on the keystone and so I paid them in full for the door. I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt. read more

They recently did a fence. Work is okay, but rather than create a sturdy fence they welded braces directly to a neighbors stainless steel post creating a rust point. They should have created a more sturdy post or added a bracket and weld to bracket rather than compromise a neighbors post. read more
