The one star is for is office, I never met the doctor. My new patient appointment had lasted one hour and 15 minutes when I asked staff how much longer, they said another 30 minutes. I wasn't going to wait. I asked for a refund of my copay and was told they would have to contact their finance dept. One week later I called the office and was told the office manager would call me. I called the next week, same story. Looks like the office manager is $50 ahead. read more

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! First of all Dr Ramharrack does not treat you kindly. He is arrogant, rude, and belittling. Explaining to the Dr about my hypoglycemic readings and how I feel sick at reading of 100 or just below. He got irritated and made a derogation remark. And this was not the first time. Also, his front office woman is nasty and at first claimed she did not receive my referral. I went and got the referral myself and handed to her! When came back for my scheduled appointment she claimed again she had no paperwork on me! I think this office needs not only a better front desk girl, but for Dr Ramharrack to go to upgrade his knowledge. I have just went to see a differ Endocrinologis, he answered all my questions in the first 10 minutes I and my husband were there. He will be ordering tests (which Dr Ramharrack didn't do) The new Dr set me up with a monitor and an emergency pen! This Dr listened, and directed me kindly. read more

Probably one of the least caring doctors I have ever dealt with in my life. Very dismissive. Will not dig for answers or the root cause. For an endocrinologist to say hormones have no effect on fatigue, weight gain, libido, etc. I have no respect. Blamed Covid for all the symptoms with zero explanation. Spent $75 each visit for maybe 3 minutes with him, I kid you not. Save your money and find a good ND. read more

If I could give a zero star stars, this doctor would get one the lady at the front desk acts like she is sleeping with the doctor. She hangs up the phone when you call. She lies about calling giving the doctor the information for your prescription and who do you complain to because the doctor is just as rude and incompetent he acts like he doesn't like people, Black people, especially as black as he is. Do not go to this doctor go at your own risk and you'll be back here posting a review with zero stars if you can. They love to force you to make an appointment to come back so they can charge you a $25 fee because they know they will hold your prescription in order for you to come back. I would be reporting them to the medical board. read more

The person at the front desk couldn't be more unfriendly or unaccommodating. As this person decided to turn the person that I care for away for life sustaining care, then told me we have to reschedule (due to a prearranged billing agreement that was out of our control), whom also suffers from Alzheimer's, I have decided that we are going to another provider for care. Unacceptable for someone that also relies on the their ALF for transportation, especially after a recent office move across town. A patient for years but not anymore. read more

Went to my appointment, found a note on the door that they moved. Changed location without notification. Who does that to their clients. Called the office, the mail box was full and could not leave a message. Not a happy camper. Dean Muller Jr. read more

New to area and were referred to this office for diabetes management. We've been going for 5 months and the care has been what you would expect, nothing spectacular and nothing worrisome. read more

I seen Dr. Ramharrack one time. Dr. Ramharrack and his assistant were fabulous. His front office staff on the other hand is another story. I work in the medical field so I know the importance of having all the medical records you need for appointments. I got all of my records together and had them faxed over prior to my appointment. I called about 1 week prior to check and make sure they were received; the front office staff confirmed they were received. I arrive to my appointment and was greeted with do you have your records. I explained I already had them sent and confirmed. They could not find them. So I had to call my Dr.'s office and do an urgent request to send them over since I had already drove from Crystal River to Ocala for the appointment. Next I had follow-up appointment scheduled, that I ended up having to cancel the morning of the appointment. I called 1st thing in the morning 8:30am to cancel the appointment. Went to my PCP and find out I had bronchitis and and double ear infection. Now the office refuses to see me because I will not pay the $50 fee. I understand the policy and why it is in place, but there has to be some exception to the rule. I can't tell my body oh you can't be sick today I have an appointment. Would the office rather me come in and pass my bug along, and not be considerate of the staff and other patients. The worst part is the lady who answered the phone has zero compassion, no "I'm sorry I hope you're feeling better," no "let me see if there is anything I can do for you." Absolutely no "soft skills" at all. As healthcare workers that is one of the biggest skills we have to have. We literally deal with people during some of the worst stages of their lives. I am truly sad that I will not be able to see Dr. Ramharrack but I cannot afford to pay a $50 fee just because I woke up sick. read more

I can never get ahold of the office staff. I have run out or my insulin several times because they never answer the phone or respond to the Pharmacy fax. Have been calling all day but have not received a response. 8/1/2022. Responses to requests for meds are very necessary. They need to be answered as does the phone in your office. Also notice the changes in staff. read more

Doctor R is very nice but direct. I'm not sure what goes on in the office but he recently had all new staff. I like to see the same faces everyone so I hope he will keep that in mind when managing the staff. The PA's in the office are also nice people. read more

Horrible practice. My family practice dr. referred me to this "Dr." after an ultrasound found five lumps on my thyroid. I need a biopsy. I called a total of seven times over three weeks leaving messages that I was referred and need a biopsy of these lumps. Not one return call! Warning - you could die before this Dr. returns your call for an appt! read more

I had delt with thyroid problems for 4 years, maybe longer. I needed a specialist. So finally after dealing with, constantly changing the mg and loosing my hair, gaining weight and being extremely tired, and my family Dr. always telling me "Your blood work looks great", I asked my family Dr. to send me to a specialist. Dr. Ramharrack, took an ultra sound, changed my medication to a different brand and upped the dosage by 10mg and I started feeling much better. He is very professional and great. I'm so glad I found him. read more

It has been so hard to give this doctor a bad rating. This Dr. is not going to change. So I guess all I will say is, whatever your medical situation is, I do not believe he is the answer. Having said that, you might wonder what is the answer. Well, I was referred to a real endocrinologist by the name of Dr. Colleen Digman in Gainesville, Fl (352) 372-9414. You are not going to believe how thorough she and her staff are. You know, I don't know what or who the most perfect endocrinologist is.. but I would bet Dr Digman is better than whoever is running in second place. read more

Office staff is unbelievably rude. I'm a quiet mild person. I don't get upset easily, but the people at this office are so unprofessional it made me cry. Today they cancelled my appt because the doctor left the country for an emergency. Ok. I've been waiting weeks for this appt and I'm leaving too by the time he comes back. I asked if there was another doctor I could see. "No." Ok.. "When do you want to reschedule?" I don't know, I'd have to call back "K sorry" Hang up. What just happened?! What did I do to deserve that? They put you on hold without letting you know, they talk to you like you're an inconvenience to them. Just really belittling. I can't rate the doctor because I was only able to see him once but I think he is good. I didn't have an issue when I saw him. I'm finding a new endocrinologist. Hopefully one that employs professionals to handle the front office. read more

This is the worst doctor I have ever come across. He tells me I need to take my medicine or I will die but refuses to refill it. He tells me I need to come into his office for visits more often and when I did and took off work, he did nothing. I waited over an hour my first appointment to see him as well. After my second I found another endorcrinologist. Terrible! read more
